"Our trip to Hongcun was surprisingly pleasantly surprised by our unexpected choice of the Weizhe Mountain B&B. The B&B's location was superb, avoiding the hustle and bustle of the main street while being just a few minutes' walk from South Lake – truly a tranquil oasis amidst the city's hustle and bustle. Our room had a window with views of classic Hui-style horse-head walls and distant mountain scenery. The owner and the housekeeper were incredibly attentive, contacting us in advance to pick us up from the bus station and providing us with maps and detailed travel guides. We truly felt at home and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hongcun!"

"Highly highly recommend to stay in 上善若水 民宿 if you visit 宏村。 The place is conveniently located near 月昭, which is one of the most pretty sight in 宏村。 Hotel is beautiful , spacious and very clean , with a big yard where you can sip tea and enjoy the serene vibe of the place. There are 9 rooms ,all nicely designed by interior designer. Service by the owners, husband and wife pair is impeccable. You feel welcome immediately with attention to your every need! Feels like you are staying with friends who provide you with comfort in a foreign place. Home cooked breakfast every morning and great quality sleep every night! Some photos of the hotel below. "The public areas are particularly impressive. There's a dedicated movie viewing area, roasted sweet potatoes, a free Hanfu (traditional Han clothing) changing area, and a workspace. Breakfast is also available on the third-floor balcony. This breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. While the selection wasn't extensive, the taste was excellent. The soy milk was delicious, and they also offered freshly made wontons or bamboo shoot noodles. The third-floor terrace had a fantastic view; you could see the waters of Qishu Lake. During my stay, they even offered white fungus and pear soup. On the day we left, it was so crowded we couldn't get a taxi, and the owner personally took us to the station. Overall, the hotel's decor is aesthetically pleasing. The public areas are large and spacious, the rooms are clean, and the bedding is nice and comfortable. Our family room had a view of a bamboo forest, giving us a feeling of being close to nature. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends or choose it again for my next stay."
