The entire courtyard was charmingly decorated. The guesthouse was housed in a Qing Dynasty-style building. The rooms were wooden cabins, and the facilities were generally very complete, including a smart toilet. The rooms were duplexes, requiring climbing stairs. The bathroom was on the lower level, and the bed was on the upper level, which wasn't particularly convenient. However, it was a nice change from typical hotel rooms for families with children. The upper level had underfloor heating, so it wasn't cold at night. There was no TV in the room, and the Wi-Fi wasn't great. The owner was very welcoming. He called ahead to pick us up and even helped us with our luggage to the bus stop when we left. We were very satisfied with the service.

The service was very friendly, with a friendly lady helping to take our luggage to and from the parking lot. The lake-view room we booked had a view of the Moon Pond, and from the third-floor terrace, we could see the rooftops of Hongcun Village and the Moon Pond. It was very close to the Moon Pond, about a 100-meter walk. My family was also very satisfied.

The property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

The location is very good, right by the South Lake, very close to the Painted Bridge and Nanhu Academy. Park your car in the South Gate parking lot, check your ticket at the South Gate, and walk three minutes to the destination. Of course, you have to stay in Hongcun to experience it immersively. The sanitation is very good, the facilities are complete, and the new Chinese style decoration is very elegant. There is also a small courtyard where you can enjoy the moon. Because it was raining and the clothes were not dry, the boss even took the dryer specially. There is also a toilet mat for babies in the room, which is very suitable for bringing children to play. The meals cooked by the aunt are also delicious, and the boss also gave the children fruits to eat and special products when they left. Knowing that we were going to Jingdezhen, the boss asked a friend to help us book a discounted hotel. When we left, he sent us to the car like a friend from afar. Mom and Dad also lived very comfortably and made friends with the boss and mom. Beautiful house located in a quiet part of the ancient village. As you’ll read in many reviews, the host provides excellent service, and I felt like I was meeting a friend. He took me to and from the gate of the village to the house and helped me carry my luggage. He also helped me arrange a ride back to the train station - there were some issues and he took the time to sort it out with the drivers on my behalf, which was above and beyond. The host and I talked about traveling and I could tell he was someone who was genuine and wanted to be as helpful as possible. The room is beautiful with huge windows and lots of thoughtful details. I had wonderful rests here while it was too hot outside. From the window you can see some rooftops of Hui architecture. The village isn’t big, so all the sights are nearby

Facilities: Our family stayed in three rooms, all with underfloor heating. However, when there were a lot of people, one room's heating was unstable. The housekeeper did his best to help resolve the issue late at night. Cleanliness: The house is a bit old, but the cleaning was good. The kitchen was also quite clean. Environment: Located in the Mukeng Bamboo Sea Scenic Area, the environment is excellent and the air is fresh. Service: The hostess was very welcoming and upgraded us to a family room. The room was excellent. The housekeeper was also very helpful. New drivers should be cautious when entering the hotel, as the roads are narrow enough for one car only.
