GGuest UserWe totally recommend this hotel.
It's in a beautiful old building, very well preserved and refurbished, and in a great location: in the Xidi old town, but a little bit more isolated, in the more quiet and less touristy area. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very stylish, it even had a tiny annexed studio room with desk and interesting books with a good kettle and tea set available. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a very nice bathtub and heated toilet. Our host was super nice and helpful, he came to pick us up and dropped us at the bus station at the end of our stay. He's really friendly and gave us some nice tips on visiting the surrounding villages. He has a very cute dog and a cuddly cat :)
Only negative comment: the room's window is on the side of the main road, so you can hear all the cars passing by. But even then, a great stay!

AAmandaZLQThe room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. It feels like home. The location is in Tachuan. There is Tachuan Scenic Area. There is a golden rice field to Hongcun. Going out is a Wuyi coffee shop. Going out is a great view.
The boss’s wife is kind and enthusiastic. The free shuttle bus station of Hongcun also provides a lot of play suggestions. There are 3 cats with different personalities in the store. The smallest live wave is so moving. The golden gradient layer is introverted to the house. Since it is the village bully haha, listen to the boss. Their story is so interesting. Before leaving, I also specially selected the gift of cats in their activities and leisure rooms. I chose a blue cat ornament like my family Yueyue. My family Yueyue likes to keep chatting hahaha.
Now is the best autumn season, it is really full of eyes, very complete, Tachuan is so beautiful

GGuest UserThe service was very friendly, with a friendly lady helping to take our luggage to and from the parking lot. The lake-view room we booked had a view of the Moon Pond, and from the third-floor terrace, we could see the rooftops of Hongcun Village and the Moon Pond. It was very close to the Moon Pond, about a 100-meter walk. My family was also very satisfied.

GGippiThe property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

GGuest UserFirst of all, don't hesitate, if you see a room, you will definitely not regret it! !
The room is clean and tidy without any peculiar smell, and the surrounding environment is good and the air is fresh, especially suitable for strolling and relaxing.
Then everyone in the homestay is super nice. The boss will deliver fruit and Huangshan biscuits to our door when we are hungry, and provide us with bicycles to ride out for a walk. The proprietress will give us umbrellas when it rains. The aunt will always ask Do we have enough to eat, are we full (the dishes cooked by my aunt are delicious, I recommend everyone to have a meal at the homestay), and the children are also very polite.
I will come again next time~~

GGuest UserThe location is very good, right by the South Lake, very close to the Painted Bridge and Nanhu Academy. Park your car in the South Gate parking lot, check your ticket at the South Gate, and walk three minutes to the destination. Of course, you have to stay in Hongcun to experience it immersively. The sanitation is very good, the facilities are complete, and the new Chinese style decoration is very elegant. There is also a small courtyard where you can enjoy the moon. It's great, highly recommended

MMLFooEverything is excellent. The owner came out to the entrance and drove our luggage to the hotel. He did the same when we left. So our big luggage bags weren’t a problem. We had a very comfortable stay for 3 nights. They have a washer for laundry which suits our needs. The owner also has a very quaint cafe just around the corner. We had a great time chilling there for 2 afternoons and even had dinner there. Highly recommended!

GGuest UserLocation: The location is at the west gate of the scenic spot. It takes three minutes to walk to the scenic spot. There is a supermarket at the door, as well as a burger shop and a noodle shop.
Service: We came from Huangshan Scenic Area, so we called the boss in advance. The boss helped me arrange a carpool, thirty-one people, and the car was delivered to the Ximen parking lot. After arriving, the boss arranged for a boy to ride a sightseeing car to pick us up. Let's go When the time came, the little brother also sent us to the carpooling point, and the service was perfect.
Decoration: Very charming, with a tea room, the room is very good, fully intelligent, the bedding is good, and the mattress is from Jin Koer.
Overall: Warm service, highly recommended

XxoolisaBeautiful house located in a quiet part of the ancient village. As you’ll read in many reviews, the host provides excellent service, and I felt like I was meeting a friend. He took me to and from the gate of the village to the house and helped me carry my luggage. He also helped me arrange a ride back to the train station - there were some issues and he took the time to sort it out with the drivers on my behalf, which was above and beyond. The host and I talked about traveling and I could tell he was someone who was genuine and wanted to be as helpful as possible.
The room is beautiful with huge windows and lots of thoughtful details. I had wonderful rests here while it was too hot outside. From the window you can see some rooftops of Hui architecture. The village isn’t big, so all the sights are nearby

CCaotianbaochenjinjinjinFacilities: Our family stayed in three rooms, all with underfloor heating. However, when there were a lot of people, one room's heating was unstable. The housekeeper did his best to help resolve the issue late at night.
Cleanliness: The house is a bit old, but the cleaning was good. The kitchen was also quite clean.
Environment: Located in the Mukeng Bamboo Sea Scenic Area, the environment is excellent and the air is fresh.
Service: The hostess was very welcoming and upgraded us to a family room. The room was excellent. The housekeeper was also very helpful. New drivers should be cautious when entering the hotel, as the roads are narrow enough for one car only.
