Location: Right outside the guesthouse, there are vast fields of canola flowers. It's also very close to where the night activities take place. Service: The owner even came to the parking lot to pick us up; they were very welcoming. Cleanliness: The room was spotlessly clean. Facilities: The room was equipped with everything imaginable, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. You can even enjoy the view outside right from your bed (the photos were taken from inside the room). Summary: This is an excellent tea-themed guesthouse with great drinks and a wonderful stay. Full stars, highly recommended!

We totally recommend this hotel. It's in a beautiful old building, very well preserved and refurbished, and in a great location: in the Xidi old town, but a little bit more isolated, in the more quiet and less touristy area. Our room was spacious, comfortable and very stylish, it even had a tiny annexed studio room with desk and interesting books with a good kettle and tea set available. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a very nice bathtub and heated toilet. Our host was super nice and helpful, he came to pick us up and dropped us at the bus station at the end of our stay. He's really friendly and gave us some nice tips on visiting the surrounding villages. He has a very cute dog and a cuddly cat :) Only negative comment: the room's window is on the side of the main road, so you can hear all the cars passing by. But even then, a great stay!

The room was very clean, tidy, comfortable, and cozy. It's close to the attractions and very quiet at night! My only complaint is that there are too few charging stations in parking zone 6 of the scenic area. Three of the slow chargers, and one of them was broken. The fast chargers also had long queues. It was really hard to get a charge!

I can't recommend Muhua Hotel in Hongcun highly enough. I had an absolutely wonderful stay. The manager and staff were so friendly, accommodating, helpful, and hospitable that it truly felt like home from the moment I arrived. Every need was met with warmth and a smile, making me feel like family rather than just a guest. With its spotless charm and such genuine care, this hotel is a true gem. Thank you to the entire team. I will definitely stay here again.

The property is located in the heart of Hongcun, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the historic village on foot. As guests, you’re also entitled to discounted entrance tickets: just let the ticket office know you're staying here and they'll give you 50% off tickets. Room was exactly as in the photos, spacious, perfectly clean and featured a very comfortable bed and many accessories (bottled water, tv, haircomb, hairdrier, etc). The building’s traditional Chinese architecture was absolutely beautiful and on a rainy day, it created a wonderfully romantic atmosphere we will treasure forever in our memories. The staff were exceptionally helpful. They kindly met us to guide us to the hotel (since Apple Maps and AMaps can be a bit confusing in the area), provided umbrellas free of charge and even bring us back to the parking lot when we left. We had an excellent stay and highly recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Hongcun!

First of all, we have to say a thank you to the boss. This Dragon Boat Festival trip, I stayed here for 2 nights. Although the boss can't bear his words, he even looks a little serious, but the people are pretty good. 1. The first day arrived in the rainstorm, the boss personally drove to Jixian East Station to pick us up ～ 2. The next day, we didn’t know that the power of the electric car 🛵 was not enough to return to Hongcun. The boss contacted an acquaintance to help send the charger near the scenic spot and charge the battery car. Otherwise, it would really be stuck halfway. 3. The meat dumplings made by the boss are delicious. On the first day of the Dragon Boat Festival, I really wanted to eat dumplings in the afternoon. I asked the boss if I could sell me two. He quickly cooked two for us without charge. The Dragon Boat Festival also ate the local dumplings. ～ It’s not greasy at all, and the bacon is delicious. ～ 4. At noon on the last day, we warmed up the packed food, and the boss cooked a bowl of noodles. It was raining heavily at noon and helped us carry our luggage and umbrella to the village committee to get on the bus and return. The people were really good. 👍 If you score 10, give 7 to the boss.

The room has two bathrooms, two very large bedrooms, and two balconies, making it perfect for family trips. It's very convenient for the whole family to stay together. However, the fish lanterns in Hongcun are particularly ugly; you'll definitely regret going.

The inn is located next to the red poplar trees at the entrance to the scenic village. The innkeeper was very welcoming and attentive, even going to the parking lot she had pre-designated to pick up our luggage and elderly guests. Her husband is a chef, and his local specialties, like stinky mandarin fish, are incredibly delicious. She also recommends her friends to stay here.

Beautiful house located in a quiet part of the ancient village. As you’ll read in many reviews, the host provides excellent service, and I felt like I was meeting a friend. He took me to and from the gate of the village to the house and helped me carry my luggage. He also helped me arrange a ride back to the train station - there were some issues and he took the time to sort it out with the drivers on my behalf, which was above and beyond. The host and I talked about traveling and I could tell he was someone who was genuine and wanted to be as helpful as possible. The room is beautiful with huge windows and lots of thoughtful details. I had wonderful rests here while it was too hot outside. From the window you can see some rooftops of Hui architecture. The village isn’t big, so all the sights are nearby

The hotel is located in a quiet yet convenient spot, just a two- or three-minute walk from Yuda Street, which is close to the entrance of Hongcun Village. There are plenty of restaurants on the street, and you can rent electric scooters nearby; even banks are available. The hotel is a traditional Chinese building. Our two rooms were on the second floor, accessible by stairs. There were some tables and chairs outside the rooms for casual seating, while the rooms themselves had standard hotel facilities. We were satisfied with the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms after one night. The landlady and her family were very welcoming. If you have any questions, feel free to ask her. Everything was great.
