Hotels with Private Pool in Phi Phi Islands

"Pros: The hotel's location is excellent, just a few hundred meters from Ton Sai Pier. Dining options and convenience stores nearby are plentiful. You can directly access the beach from right outside the check-in area. The staff were very friendly and provided great service; they even helped carry our luggage to the room after check-in. The hotel also has a swimming pool, so if you don't feel like going to the beach, you can relax and sunbathe by the pool. Cons: The room itself is a bit dated. The air conditioning is a wall-mounted unit, not central air, so it takes a long time to cool down. The bathroom has no window, so there was a noticeable odor as soon as you entered. Also, the water pressure for the shower was a bit unstable. Even though it's fresh water, it had a slightly salty taste. I'd recommend bringing your own shower head and faucet filter."

"I really liked the resort. Quiet. Pretty. Sustainable. The massage at spa performed by Honey and Ausy was wonderful! Breakfast was really nice. The rooms were spacious and well planed. Comparing to other seaside hotels in this region - outstanding peace and quality. However, upon arrival I was ignored from your welcome staff (as a female), and every question was asked per “sir” to my male friend that accompanied me. Same on the welcome message TV in the room, not for me. Not to mention, that I have booked and paid for the hotel. Absolutely disrespectful. And the shuttle possibilities to the Tonsai Pier are really bad. You are forced to book a pricy private boat as there are no late shutteles back to hotel (last one 16:00 o’clock), which could be improved. So they use it to earn money, but the prices are incomparable to other services, because you simply have to take it."

"Facilities: The garden villa room is spacious enough, with extra beds available in both the living room and bedroom, which was very convenient for our family of two adults and two children. The large balcony dried clothes quickly. However, the room was a bit old, the air conditioner was noisy, and the bathroom door creaked loudly every time it opened or closed. Service: We requested a room close to the snorkeling area in our booking, and they gave us a spot right in the middle of it, which was great. Upon arrival, we received welcome juice and a detailed resort explanation presented kneeling, a very nice touch. Food was delivered to the room, and overall, the service attitude was excellent. Environment: The resort has abundant vegetation and is quite expansive, making you feel like you're staying in a forest. However, there were a lot of mosquitoes; after lying by the pool for a short while, I ended up with seven bites on my back. Every morning around 5 or 6 am, you can hear monkeys, various large birds, and boats, making it difficult to sleep in. Hygiene: The room was cleaned very well. Aside from that: On our first day, we went out to a restaurant recommended by reviews, and our whole family ended up with food poisoning, spending two days recuperating at the hotel. Before leaving the island, I felt a bit disappointed and decided to check out the underwater situation. Luckily, I spotted Nemo! Nemo's location: From the restaurant, walk along the beach to the first beachfront room with a pool. Enter the water and look about 1 meter outside the right side of the floating buoy area, as circled in the picture. The anemone isn't very big, only about 20 centimeters, so you'll need to look carefully."

"This was a wonderful place to stay. Amazing views and friendly staff. Great breakfast buffet (if you get the choice, it's worth signing up for it). Cats roaming the property and island; great if you're a cat lover like me- if not, no worries, they pretty much leave you alone unless you seek their attention. The only drawback I have is that no matter how many people stay in the room, you get only one key. This is because the key is inserted into a ”socket: that powers the air and lights. Conservation is important for resources on the island. They will, however, let your other roomies in any time, day or night, by stopping by the front desk. If you're not used to it, be aware that Thai beds in general are very firm. Not much padding."

You need to go outside to reach the reception, restaurant, or bathroom from your room. They have done a fantastic job of combining luxury with a natural, jungle-like setting—something I've never seen before. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Breakfast is really good. If you're looking for a more exotic nature experience, this place is ideal. However, if you prefer a more standard/business stay, it might not be the best option."

"Great location if you’re looking for peace and quiet away from the crowds. If you miss the hustle and bustle or want to visit the clubs, you can take a private taxi boat to Tonsai for about 1,000 THB one way. We stayed in the Ocean Sunset Room. Just a heads-up: it’s located on a hill, about a 10-minute walk from the beach. Hotel has free buggy shuttle between 6:00-22:00. However, it's the perfect spot for sunset lovers since you can't actually see the sunset from the beach itself. Great value for couples! The private pool offers total privacy (perfect for swimming naked! :) )and an amazing view of the sun going down. The room was spacious and clean with a nice balcony, but it felt a bit dated. The main issue was the water pressure in the shower - it was extremely low, which was disappointing considering the price. Breakfast was okay, pretty standard. If you’re looking for a great meal nearby, check out a local restaurant called 'Banyan' -delicious food, fair prices, and excellent service."
