Pet Friendly Hotels in Puebla

This hotel is just5 years old and attractively decorated and furnished. Well maintained and sparking clean. The happy, accommodating staff is a huge plus here. I will confess that my Spanish is shaky, but everyone was extremely patient plus fron managers all seemed be English fluent. Breakfast buffet was inviting carefully groomed and replenished. Be aware that the food is Mexican, no white toast and bacon in sight. My room was spacious and comfortable with an oversized HD tv. This place is a real gem!

Quite well, excellent attention

We stayed at this Holiday Inn Express for 4 nights during a recent trip to Puebla. The hotel is clean, modern, and very affordable (with average nightly rate below 60USD when booking directly on IHG). The location is a bit outside from most touristic attractions in the historical center, but it seems to be in a safe an convenient neighborhood where walking and uber-ing are both easy. The room seems to be renovated in recent yeas and is well-appointed. We opted out for housekeeping during the whole stay, but when we called for extra toiletries they were delivered to the room pretty quickly. The breakfast was decent and was served by staff members instead of in a buffet style due to Covid. Also, everyone working in the hotel took Covid precautions seriously - all masked up and there are clear signs for social distancing and sanitizing gels everywhere. There is a workout room at the second floor, also a lap pool on the ground floor. With the amenities provided, I recommend this hotel should you have the chance to visit Puebla Mexico.

Very good impression of this hotel, cost-effective, better and cheaper than Mexico City Airport. Well, the airport is for connecting flights. There is a bus from Mexico City Airport to Puebla. It takes ten minutes to get off the bus and take a taxi to the hotel. The traffic is very convenient. The breakfast is local, but the scrambled eggs and broccoli are very suitable for the Chinese stomach. Hahaha The fruit is very fresh. The room we booked does not include breakfast. We paid for the card in the morning. The waiters are very good, but not much English, but the basic communication is still no problem

When I returned I asked my wife will advance to solve this and the manager never gave us the face, only commanding her boys telling us that she asked us for excuse and the next stay we would have a discount... the full!! My wife works in hotels in Riviera Maya and knows the processes and this was unacceptable for me, ask for my refund because I never think I'll stay here again. So at last they returned us 50% but to spend a night of horror or free! I hope they have better problem resolution processes and their managers have the courage and professionalism to take care. Call me overdrive but it is not my job to check out the facilities and cleaning.

Bel hôtel moderne, bon accueil, belle chambre agréable avec 2 grands lits, bonne literie; Belle vue sur la ville ( au 3è étage avec ascenseur) salle de bain correcte avec de l'eau chaude à la douche. Le repas du soir limite (en groupe) Petit déjeuner américain donc pas de chaud et pas de chocolat. Hôtel sympathique.

I am a big fan of InterContinental hotels and have stayed at least once at all of the other ones in Mexico and almost all of them in Central America as well. I was in Puebla for a weekend visit and wanted to try this one out as well. I am sad to say that this hotel seems to be completely overlooked by InterContinental's quality control people because it is a dump--at least the rooms, that is. The rooms have old, worn, and stained carpeting, and the bathroom was a nightmare. Gross, cracked sink with faucets from who knows when, bathtub with a curtain and similarly old, yucky-looking faucets. The bathroom door was all banged up, marked up and basically ruined. Paint chipped all over the place in the room. Ancient air conditioner (although it worked, thankfully!) No place to store towels so they just set them all on the sink. The only good thing about the room was that the bed was the typical InterContinental bed which was very comfortable, clean, and lovely. The hotel employees are very nice and courteous and the public areas of the hotel (except for the old elevators and long, yucky-looking hallways that need repainting) are decent. The hotel's social media focuses basically just on places that actually look decent and some of the rooms that maybe were renovated? But you will likely end up in a room straight out of the 1980's (or longer ago) and not in a good way. This hotel urgently needs remodeling or to be changed from an InterContinental to a Holiday Inn or something. Even though the prices are good--there's a reason why. Don't stay here expecting a ”normal” InterContinental hotel experience. Sorry, to say it but hopefully the hotel will get the care it needs.
