GGuest UserEnvironment: A beautiful guesthouse. Electric scooters are available for rent downstairs. It's very close to Shenzhou Peninsula, just a 15-minute ride away. It's even closer to Wangfujing Duty-Free Shop, only a 5-minute ride.
Service: The receptionist was exceptionally helpful, punctual with pick-up and drop-off, and even helped with luggage. He was also very friendly and welcoming.
Cleanliness: The guesthouse is newly opened and exceptionally clean. The rooms are very bright, much brighter than other hotels I've stayed in. Highly recommended! The decor is also beautiful, and the cleaning staff kept everything spotless.
Facilities: The guesthouse offers coffee and lunch, which I didn't eat at, but it looked quite good.
I highly recommend booking this guesthouse.

TTanja SchönebergerI had the best time at the Goodtiming. The location is directly in the village with so many options for food, drinks and shops. I just stayed for two nights but I enjoyed it so much!
Moreover the room was outstanding! The view is extremely beautiful and it was enormous. Also the service was perfect! They were so kind and always tried to help with everything! They also have an outdoor gym area as well as washing machines and dryer. Also the pool looks soo great!
I would totally recommend to stay here if you are searching for an hotel. You can also easily rent a scooter next door and even if you can’t speak Chinese they’ll make it work for you. They also offer a shuttle service!
All in all I will definitely come back here! I had an amazing time!

JjiedwardI highly recommend the Grand Hyatt Hainan Shenzhou Peninsula! The environment is top-notch, with a 300-acre tropical garden creating a secluded paradise where coconut groves, water features, and sea breezes intertwine, offering both tranquility and great photo opportunities. The service is impeccable; from check-in to check-out, it was attentive, meticulous, professional, and courteous throughout, making us feel respected and comfortable. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. Falling asleep to the sound of ocean waves was a perfect experience. For a vacation in Wanning, choosing the Grand Hyatt is definitely the right decision! Emily's luggage assistance was excellent, much appreciated. The customer service was also great throughout our stay. Oh, and the travel photography here is incredible – very high quality. We had 6 rooms in total and were all super satisfied; every photo turned out beautifully. Also, both breakfast and afternoon tea were excellent.

MMeisenkaiserThe best homestay we had in China. A really beautiful place. But the real beauty lies in the people who work there. Incredibly friendly and welcoming. We felt right at home. We also met the owner who is also really friendly and helpful. He took us to a market and to a beach where fishermen pull their nets in the evening. He also invited us to dinner in the evening and we had a great evening with him. The house manager is also a great guy. He took us to the Swallow Cave and helped us get a transport to Sanya when our train was cancelled during a typhoon. We also participated in a number of activities in the afternoon with the wonderful guest service manager. A big thank you to all the warm-hearted people of this hotel, you made our stay really special!

GGuest UserEverything was great, except the price during Chinese New Year was indeed very high. If it were in the 800-1000 range, I think it would be a fantastic hotel. I really loved the environment; after seeing too much of the sea, experiencing tropical nature felt really refreshing and met my expectations. All the staff were very enthusiastic, and the shuttle service offered unlimited rides to nearby attractions. Overall, it exceeded my expectations. Compared to the Westin I'm staying at now, I'd much rather be there; this place feels like a chaotic market with almost zero service.

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, nestled in a village, away from the main road, making for a quiet stay. It's surrounded by guesthouses and restaurants, and conveniently located just a few minutes' drive from the beach. It offers a perfect balance of tranquility and activity. The guesthouse courtyard is very comfortable, and the rooms are spacious and clean. The owners are a very friendly family; we brought our child for a short stay and felt right at home.

JJennifer in ChinaFantastic place to stay, hosts very welcoming and always available if need anything. When we arrived, the hosts sent pictures of local tourist places as well as recommended food. 5 min walk to the beach via a small road, very convenient. The room is very comfortable, great layout, with everything you need plus get a lovely view at sunrise and sunset. I extended here an extra night due to their wonderful hospitality. I was travelling with my 8 month old and the hosts were just so helpful. Will definitely return back here if in Wanning again. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The balcony is very large, with a panoramic view of the sea. Because I brought children with me, I booked a 3-bedroom. The room is very spacious and the children had a lot of fun. DDizhexidongdongFacilities: Extremely well-equipped. The washing machine and refrigerator are absolutely essential in a tropical coastal city. It was so convenient to just toss our swimsuits into the washing machine after a dip in the sea every day. The guesthouse even provided small packets of laundry detergent, which was more than enough. It was also great to have a fridge for storing fruits and desserts we bought.
The TV is large and supports screen mirroring, which is fantastic. The air conditioning is powerful too.
We could use the pools and water park at the Legend Seaview Hotel, which is a great perk. Unfortunately, the water park wasn't open in June, but the pool was still very good.
Environment: Absolutely beautiful. The balcony view is exceptional, with double-sided sea views. I wanted to take photos every day, and it really lifted my spirits. For this price, this guesthouse offers incredible value.
Service: The housekeeper service is excellent. They respond instantly during working hours and are always ready to help. If something was missing or broken, repairs were done very promptly. An auntie came to clean every day, and the service quality was comparable to a hotel.
Hygiene: For a guesthouse, the hygiene was already very good. However, I have a few suggestions:
First, because the air by the sea is humid, the carpets in the bedroom tend to develop a musty smell if the windows aren't open for a while, and they're difficult to maintain. Dry flooring would be cleaner. It would be great if the carpet could be removed.
Second, upon check-in, we found a bit of old food residue in the refrigerator 😂. It would be good to improve the cleanliness of food storage areas like the fridge.
Third, perhaps because the entire building consists of apartments with kitchens, we found large cockroaches every day during our stay (for someone from the north, they truly seemed big). However, after asking the cleaning auntie to increase the dosage of cockroach killer, the ones we found afterward were basically dead.
Aside from these three points, I was quite satisfied with the guesthouse's hygiene.
Location: It's on Rongchuang Peninsula, where there are plenty of dining and shopping options. There are also many shuttle buses to the beach, which is very convenient. However, food and drinks on the island are a bit pricier. We rented an electric scooter and sometimes went to the village for meals and to buy fruit.
