"The room was spacious, comfortable, and not damp. The bedding was also quite cozy. However, it suffers from a common hotel issue: poor soundproofing. Especially since there's a high-speed rail line right behind the hotel, and we were in the last row of rooms. When the high-speed train passed by, the noise was quite significant, though the hotel did provide earplugs. There aren't many amenities around the hotel, and it's a bit far from the beach, requiring a bike or car to get there. The surf pool was great, and the coaches were patient. The price was reasonable, and it felt very safe for beginners. I'd recommend trying it multiple times."

"I stayed at this hotel 22 years ago and had a good impression. This time, I brought my child along and wanted to try surfing. Even before check-in, the butler's service was already excellent. They even upgraded us to a ground-floor room with direct pool access. The room service staff were also very enthusiastic and provided great service. Although the hotel room facilities seemed a bit old, the hotel overall is high-end and stylish, with many Instagrammable spots. But I really need to talk about the breakfast. For such a large hotel, they completely disregard the needs of ethnic minorities who don't eat pork. On the first day, the fried rice with chicken was okay as a staple, but all the stir-fried dishes contained pork. Even a vegetarian option would have been fine, but even the vegetables were stir-fried with pork. Then on the second day, all the fried rice and noodles contained pork. I just want to ask the restaurant manager, what are people who don't eat pork supposed to eat? Just fill up on water? A hotel stay should be about enjoying good food, right? But this restaurant just makes me angry from the moment breakfast starts."

"My husband and I came to Wanning for our anniversary, and honestly, this trip was made so special thanks to our butler, Luna. She was incredibly thoughtful and attentive. I wanted to surprise my husband a little, so I contacted Luna beforehand to help me with a 10th-anniversary room setup. To my surprise, she even prepared a small cake for us! I was initially worried it wouldn't be possible, so it was a delightful surprise. Luna was just so heartwarming, and she quickly helped us with any questions we had afterward, from recommending restaurants to booking shuttle buses to Shenzhou Station. She truly deserves 100 stars! It's an older hotel, and while some of the facilities are a bit dated, the room was clean and tidy, and the bed was surprisingly comfortable, giving me two nights of great sleep. The hotel has a fantastic resort vibe; the lawn, pool, beach, and little train all make for great photos. The breakfast was abundant; I ate until I was stuffed. The only slight negative was that the hotel's park guide wasn't clear, so we weren't sure what facilities or activities were available. I suggest providing guests with a paper or digital park map upon check-in, clearly marking facilities and activity times."

"The hotel is also relatively close to the commercial area. The hotel lobby opens directly onto the beach, and the park's landscape design is beautiful. There are parent-child activities every day, and Trista and Xiaoyu from guest relations provide thoughtful and responsive service. Facilities: It's an older hotel, but the quality is guaranteed. Although it's not newly renovated, the tropical style is very prominent. It's meticulously maintained. Cleanliness: The cleaning is very thorough. Even the water in the bathroom is wiped dry with a towel while kneeling down. Environment: This hotel is very suitable for families with children. The swimming pools and play facilities are well-equipped and concentrated in one area, so you don't have to walk around much. You can also use the facilities at the neighboring Sheraton. There are many Instagrammable spots on the beach, so you can easily stay for several days. Service: The service is very warm and attentive, especially from our personal butler, Xiaoyu, who even reminded us about going out when it rained. If you want to know where to take great photos or which surf club is reliable, just ask your personal butler."

"Facilities: The facilities are decent, with two pools, but the open-plan lobby compromises the hotel's privacy. On the other hand, rooms are difficult to locate, and there are no sea-view rooms at all, which is a bit odd. There are many good parent-child activities. Hygiene: Very good. Environment: Shimei Bay, excellent. Service: There's a butler service that helped upgrade our room type, which was great. However, the snorkeling shop the hotel partners with was just so-so; it's best to do your research before participating in such activities. If you're bringing children, be sure to manage their playtime and use physical sun protection! Overall, the experience wasn't as good as the Sheraton Shenzhou Peninsula, but the service was excellent. They gave my friend many gifts and actively helped resolve any issues we encountered."

"The hotel environment is great, with a lovely tropical vibe. There are four large swimming pools, and they offer various activities every day, which my little one absolutely loved. On our first day, we joined their cool party and paddleboard competition, and my child had a fantastic time! Breakfast was quite extensive too. When the room needed cleaning, a quick call was all it took for someone to come and tidy up. All the staff were very polite and courteous. The only downside is that dining options nearby are not very convenient; you have to take a taxi to eat out, though taxis are easy to find here. Of course, the hotel also has its own restaurants! Overall, it was a wonderful stay!"

"I'm a Grand Hyatt member, but their booking system is clunky, so I booked through Ctrip instead of the official Grand Hyatt website. First, the room. I booked an ocean-view twin room back in June. When I arrived, I found out it was in building 37. While not the most central location, it was still nice; I could see the sea from the balcony. Next time, I hope to get a more central spot. Regarding the beach: Two years ago, we stayed in Shimei Bay, and the beach there was fantastic, even better than Yalong Bay's, though the hotel itself was mediocre. This time at the Grand Hyatt, the hotel is great, but honestly, the beach isn't as clean as Shimei Bay. There was a lot of trash on the sand near the lighthouse, and the sand itself wasn't as fine as Shimei Bay's. About check-in: We arrived around 11 AM and had lunch. By about 2 PM, we could check in. The buggy service was excellent, and the staff were very polite. However, I have to mention that the service from the staff member at the hotel lounge while we were waiting to check in was a bit cold. When I asked him something, he answered impatiently. Regarding the room: The room was indeed spacious and very clean, with welcome drinks and a coffee machine. But the bathtub drain was constantly clogged; we had to call maintenance three nights in a row, and it was never fixed. That's unacceptable. Also, the sliding door to toilet 9 was poor quality and noisy. We requested an extra bed, and it turned out to be a terrible spring mattress – unstable and unsafe to sleep on. I hope next time the hotel provides extra beds that are of the same quality as the main beds. The Wi-Fi was slow, and I kept having connection issues. I ended up using my phone's 5G for three days. Breakfast: Excellent, 5 stars! There are two restaurants, Yu and Hefang, offering both Western and Chinese options. No queues in the morning, so you can enjoy a comfortable breakfast. When we went to the hotel's 'Tanpan' for drinks in the evening, we were almost eaten alive by mosquitoes. No amount of repellent helped, so we couldn't enjoy ourselves. The hotel front desk staff arranged by Ctrip, Ms. She, had excellent service. She was very helpful and responded quickly. I hope the hotel improves its service standards. I would still consider staying here again."

"Our stay at the Holiday Inn Resort Hainan Wanning Shenzhou Peninsula far exceeded expectations! This hotel truly deserves a five-star rating. The location is absolutely fantastic – you just walk across the lawn to your private beach and can head straight into the ocean, which is incredibly convenient. The sea view is breathtaking. The service was excellent from start to finish, with friendly and attentive staff. Our room was clean and the facilities were modern. It's the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!"

"Unexpectedly, choosing this B&B turned out to be an amazing surprise! The overall environment is serene and elegant, and the surroundings are quiet and pleasant, making it perfect for a relaxing stroll. The room's decor is exquisite and beautiful, with tasteful and inviting soft furnishings. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable, the bedding clean and odor-free, and the bathroom amenities complete and tidy. I had a wonderfully peaceful night's sleep.
