Pet Friendly Hotels in Litang

This off-season trip was a scouting trip to scout western Sichuan for my July tour. We set off early from Rangtang, hiking for 12 hours through the mountains before encountering heavy fog and snow before reaching Litang. Exhausted upon arrival, the guesthouse owner proactively called after my booking to inquire about my arrival time and had already turned on the oxygen concentrator and electric blanket in the room. When we arrived at 10:30 PM, he personally greeted us at the door, guided us to parking, and immediately created a WeChat group to provide 24-hour concierge service to prevent altitude sickness from affecting our rest. The next morning, I went to explore the Qianhu ******* Village. The friendly owner made me a cup of coffee as soon as I came downstairs, chatting with me while providing valuable local information. Even in the off-season, the service remained wholehearted and warm, leaving a lasting impression. This guesthouse, converted from an old house, is exactly my style. The rooms are spacious, the furniture is stylish and comfortable, and the photos turn out beautifully. It's a convenient 7-8 minute walk to the Qianhu ******* Village. This is probably the best value guesthouse in Qianhu ******* Village, Litang.

The room was beautiful and decoration good, but we have the really bad surprise to find the room dirty… At the first looking looks ok but toilets shower, the floor and most of the corner was so dirty. We asked to the women at the reception to do something and she was really reactive thanks to her. She send a team of 3 or 4 people to clean that was nice consider the late timing in the evening, they stay in the room maybe 30 minutes to clean but honestly was not ok at all they come with one mop and one rag for all the room … no product maybe.. same cloth for everything .. toilet avec everything ..? At the end we came back in the room we saw they tried to clean it but the floor smell sooo bad the wet dog. It was disgusting honestly so with my partner we had to clean after them at least the floor that smell sooo bad we took hot water and essential oil with a towel to clean the floor.. Thanks for the reactivity of the team but honestly the housekeeping team don’t do a correct job. Smell always really strong cigarette everywhere even in the room even if we don’t smoke. The common space are not very clean too. We were really surprised of the reviews that don’t mention this. They propose us to change room so we visit another room that was exactly dirty the same way… so I imagine it is not an exception. Again thanks to the women of the reception who did a good job and was nice.

Hygiene: A must-have for Virgos with OCD! Environment: Excellent both inside and out, including the surrounding environment! Service: Very attentive!! Facilities: Very complete! The hot water is a little tricky to use; a little too much and it's too hot, a little too little and it's too cold 😂

Location is really good, actually, very close to Genie shan; however, during our visit, there was some piping construction in front of the hotel so the staff helped carrying our luggages over those obstacles but there was no one when we checked out so we need to do it ourselves. The room is clean and beautiful but there were only electric blankets, no heater, which it was -9 degrees when we visited in the beginning of autumn. You may consider if you plan to go in winter. However, we were very well welcomed by staff.

We were able to get a ride from Yading to Litang via a carpool service, and the driver dropped us off directly at the hotel. The accommodation itself was well-equipped with underfloor heating and an oxygen concentrator. The owner, who is also a musician, spoke excellent English. In the evening, they lit a stove, and we could have enjoyed music and dancing with them, but we were too tired and went to bed early. They were incredibly kind, even preparing a PDF file with recommendations for local restaurants and attractions, which they shared with us on WeChat. The guesthouse is conveniently located near the Old Town, Baita Park, and King Gesar Square. For breakfast, the host's mother prepared a simple yet delicious meal of cherry tomatoes, corn, sweet potatoes, and mung bean porridge. My sister, who is a picky eater, found the mung bean porridge so tasty that she had two bowls! They even gave us a ride to the Litang bus terminal for our journey to Kangding. The host, a big fan of 'Running Man,' was truly the kindest. It's a shame we couldn't stay longer, as it rained on the day we arrived and the weather remained poor the next day. We had also accumulated fatigue from over six weeks of high-altitude travel, and the stay in Yading village brought on altitude sickness, which continued, compounded by the low atmospheric pressure due to the rain. Litang is a city at an altitude of 4000 meters. I really wanted to see Mount Genyen and visit Litang Temple, but due to the rain, I couldn't. If another opportunity arises in the autumn or May, this is a guesthouse I'd love to revisit.

I recently had a very pleasant weekend at this hotel. The receptionist was beautiful and had a great attitude. The room was also very comfortable. It was my first time in a high-altitude area, and I experienced some altitude sickness. The receptionist was very patient and helpful in finding solutions for us. I would highly recommend this hotel, especially the staff on the night shift – they were fantastic!

The photo in the back mountain of the homestay is so beautiful...🥹🥹🥹🥹 It's almost ～～ The proprietress is very good. Seeing that we are cold, we are afraid that we will directly plug the hot tea oxygen generator without saying anything. We have ～ moved 🥹🥹 and electric blankets. The week here is very comfortable. ～ The burger and butter latte of the homestay are forced! ! ! There are a lot of meat stuffing, and the butter latte is very delicate. It is not comfortable to have a cup in this day.

Spacious and bright, clean and tidy, the service is warm, sincere and attentive. Parking is available in front of the door. own area. There are electric blankets and blankets that work. The bedding is not damp and the temperature is low at night. Suggestions: exhaust fan, clothes hanger

INCROYABLE !! L’hôtel est sublime (venait vivre l’expérience dans une maison typique tibétaine), l’ambiance est chaleureuse (tout le monde se retrouve dans les parties communes et surtout au coin du feu), la nourriture délicieuse, et les gens qui travaillent ici sont simplement géniaux ! Ils nous ont inclut et nous on fait sentir super bien, ils nous ont beaucoup aidé pour les transports, ils nous ont emmené danser le soir et visiter des monastères et la ville la journée !! Quel accueil, MERCI ! On oubliera pas notre passage à Litang. Je recommande vivement ce lieu !!!

The owner was very nice and help us to organize our trip. And there is someone which works there which speaks english! The best place to stay in Litang ! Located at 15 min walks from the old Town.
