The following is my true experience, and it's the most unforgettable memory of this trip. Before I could fully savor the majesty of Mount Genyen, I was deeply warmed by the kindness of my fellow Tibetans. Yesterday evening, our car had a flat tire on a remote stretch of road 16 kilometers from our hotel. I tried to contact the hotel, but to my surprise, the owner's son drove over immediately without a word. He brought not only professional tools for the 16-kilometer mountain road, but also hope in a desperate situation. He knelt by the roadside, skillfully changed the spare tire, and then safely brought us back to the hotel. By the time he finished, it was already 10 p.m., and he hadn't even had time to eat. We can't express our gratitude for this kindness. Today's breakfast brought this warmth to its peak. When the owner and his family served us steaming hot, home-grown butter tea, sweet barley cakes, and eggs, we felt like family. The sacred mountain and water of Genyen are breathtaking, but even more enduring than the scenery is the kindness of the hotel owner and his family. They made me believe that the most beautiful scenery in the journey is always the human heart.

Finally found a hidden gem of a guesthouse in Litang, nestled on the horizon's prairie! Open the window to an endless expanse of alpine meadows, with rolling mountains in the distance and blue skies and white clouds seemingly within reach. The guesthouse has preserved traditional rammed earth ******* architecture, and the blend of old and new design creates an incredibly atmospheric vibe – every photo you take looks stunning. The restaurant has an elegant ambiance, and the authentic ******* specialty dishes are delicious and made with fresh ingredients. The staff are warm and attentive, making for a truly enjoyable experience. In the morning, watch the misty clouds over the grasslands, and in the evening, quietly await the高原 late afternoon glow, far from the hustle and bustle. Peacefully immerse yourself in Litang's unique vastness and healing serenity. Highly recommend this place for anyone traveling to Litang – it's well worth a stay!

The inn is right in the ancient town, and the courtyard is beautifully decorated, creating a lovely atmosphere. The owner, a very friendly lady, promptly provided oxygen for us and gave us great tips for exploring. It's just a two-minute walk from here to Guozhuang Square. At the Dalai VII Museum, there was only one staff member. When I asked about a guided tour, she got a colleague in Chengdu to give us a remote video tour, which was both unique and touching. This city is full of genuinely kind people.

Great looks, there's no doubt about it, for which better located hotels were abandoned. You can't see the Gnie Ice Cap directly from the wild house, so you need to pay attention to this. Need to walk forward or backward some way. But it can't stop the mesmerizing scenery from the hotel. The decoration of the hotel itself is also very tasteful, with lots of flowers and plants, and a fireplace to keep warm at night. In terms of rooms, 15 square meters is actually fine, rooms of this size abound in Japan or even smaller. It can spread out one 26 and one 20 suitcases, completely stress-free. Personally, I booked this room type looking out for the best scenery. A few rooms look out onto the road. Let's talk about some shortcomings. The bed has collapsed, and there is a tilt in the body when lying there. Soundproofing is a bit poor, however prepared earplugs. Finally, both sides of the bed are placed table lamps, although the atmosphere is full, but in fact there is no need, the head of the bed still needs to put mobile phones, water cups, glasses place, it is recommended to improve o. Overall, it's still worth recommending. Breakfast is rich, also comes with drinks, fruit. The volunteers in the shop are also full of energy.

Location is really good, actually, very close to Genie shan; however, during our visit, there was some piping construction in front of the hotel so the staff helped carrying our luggages over those obstacles but there was no one when we checked out so we need to do it ourselves. The room is clean and beautiful but there were only electric blankets, no heater, which it was -9 degrees when we visited in the beginning of autumn. You may consider if you plan to go in winter. However, we were very well welcomed by staff.

The owners were nice but I couldn't communicate in English. They have a hotel cat. The room was really nice, but there were some issues. The ceiling was leaking water overnight. A constant drip sound and water on the floor, luckily not on the bed. My bathroom also has drainage problems. The floor was also very dusty and dirty. It was explained in the morning when a sledge hammer was being used on the floor above starting at 8am. Not a big issue, but they also didn't give me the obligatory two bottles of water. I had to boil my own. No heating, but there is an electric blanket. This will be a good hotel once they sort a few issues out.

Right at the foot of Mount Genyen, the hotel's location is fantastic with breathtaking scenery. We booked a log cabin, which was quite unique. For a mountain hotel, the conditions were surprisingly good, not at all like what you'd expect in the city. The butler service was also excellent; they even helped with our luggage. We were especially lucky this time to witness the 'Golden Mountain bathed in sunlight' phenomenon.

The facilities are excellent, and the service is great. Oxygen is provided in the room from 5:30 PM to 8:00 AM every night, which was very comfortable, and I didn't experience altitude sickness. The room has heating, and the intensity is adjustable. The hotel is at an altitude of nearly 4000 meters. The breakfast selection is extensive, and the environment is superb. There is a Tesla Supercharger available! However, the oxygen supply is a bit noisy, so I recommend bringing earplugs.

The photo in the back mountain of the homestay is so beautiful...🥹🥹🥹🥹 It's almost ～～ The proprietress is very good. Seeing that we are cold, we are afraid that we will directly plug the hot tea oxygen generator without saying anything. We have ～ moved 🥹🥹 and electric blankets. The week here is very comfortable. ～ The burger and butter latte of the homestay are forced! ! ! There are a lot of meat stuffing, and the butter latte is very delicate. It is not comfortable to have a cup in this day.

We booked a room right before arriving. We were able to check in immediately. To be honest, the room had everything we needed: a warm shower, a kettle for tea, a radiator. The only ”issue” is that one of the two beds was unmade and the shower seemed like it had just been used. No real problem for us as we only needed one bed, but it was definitely was a bit weird.
