Being an exchange student from England, far from home, and my friends and classmates from Latvia and Cambodia, we needed somewhere homely and comfortable to stay. This place was exactly what we needed. We stayed here for one night in the middle of winter as part of our road trip from Beijing to Wutaishan, following the sections of the Great Wall. We turned up after dark, we were welcomed with a big smile and slept with ease after the long drive. In the morning I woke up early, found a spot in the courtyard garden and opened my Christmass cards. The owners dog immediately rolled over to be petted and for the next hour I had good company, drank tea and enjoyed the peace. The owners awoke to find me outside, probably thought I was a ****** and so, immediately lit their fire in the garden. They saw me drinking tea so got the iron kettle boiling over the heat of the flames. My mates awoke to this and joined me and the boss by the fire. The outside temperature was negative, but we were warm, happy and ready for the day ahead - exploring Baishishan. The boss also showed us his great tea collection. I want to thank the owners for a short but great stay and I highly recommend. I would like to come back in spring to see their courtyard in full bloom.

I had a great experience staying at the Jianguo Puyin Hotel in Qingzhou before. So, when I came to Dingzhou this time, I decisively chose the Jianguo Puyin Hotel again. The front desk staff were professional and enthusiastic, making the check-in process quick and convenient. There's a private parking lot in front of the hotel (with about 20 spaces), so parking is quite easy. The hotel's interior decoration style is elegant and cozy, which is one of the reasons I like Puyin hotels. The room was spacious, bright, clean, and hygienic, with comfortable bedding and complete facilities. The hotel's location is excellent; you can see the Kaiyuan Ancient Pagoda from the floor-to-ceiling window. It's also convenient to get to various attractions. The (Halal) buffet breakfast didn't have many varieties, but the taste was superb! My two-night stay certainly didn't disappoint me, and I will choose the Jianguo Puyin Hotel again in the future.

I highly recommend staying here when visiting the outskirts of Beijing. It's a hassle-free and fun place to stay, and I strongly recommend it for Beijing families for a weekend getaway. It offers excellent value for money and a fantastic experience!

Although Yesanpo Bailixia is still in post-disaster reconstruction, the folk customs here are still simple, the boss recommends a large amount of farmhouse barbecue, and there is no phenomenon of overcharging customers at normal prices. Various scenic spots are also gradually recovering. The scenery along the way is still beautiful. Friends in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei may wish to come and take a walk if they have the opportunity to support the recovery and development of Yesanpo's tourism industry.

In the evening, Shiguang Garden has a big screen with karaoke and a bonfire party. I want to talk about this bonfire. After booking the accommodation, I asked the staff and they said that it will be there only if someone lights a bonfire. Even bonfires also require flowers. The money is not free. On the night of the Dragon Boat Festival, the staff lit the fire and just piled a small handful of firewood and lit it. No other activities were organized. I imagined that the bonfire party would be for everyone to sing and dance around the torch, but there was no such thing. There is a small mountain behind the accommodation observation deck that can be climbed. The overall feeling is that except for the clean and satisfactory accommodation environment, there are no other supporting activities. There are fees for fishing gear, water fights and bonfires, and it can be said that these three items are basically impossible to play. Before going there, I took my whole family with me and was looking forward to this trip. I was a little disappointed when I arrived. If I only focus on the quality of accommodation and choose her place to play, I can only drive to other places in the surrounding area. There is nothing to do in the accommodation place.
