Everything was great until it came to check out, we had left a jacket behind there was a lady already cleaning our room and we tried getting it back but the front desk claims it’s not in the lost n found and the cleaning lady didn’t note it with our room number. So we know the cleaning lady stole it. Because she was in there when I had left it behind.

The hotel is in downtown Oakland, not too long after getting off the highway. The king-size room I booked was given a twin-bed room, but I was too tired and late to change it that day. The area is quite large. There is a free simple breakfast in the morning, which is actually not bad. Many people come for meetings. It is connected to the apartment next door. Valet is $60 a night. We were at an event at the Oakland Marriott City Center and switched to Courtyard Oakland Downtown (where we only had to cross the street) after the experience at Jack London Inn (not recommended) which although only a 10 minute walk away changes a lot. We consider this motel in Oakland area a very good choice of value-for-money, if you want to avoid staying in very small (and worn-out) motel rooms in downtown San Francisco. We had a rental car, so driving to downtown San Francisco (or in fact anywhere) was not a problem at all. The motel provides free parking. This motel was renovated just two years ago, rooms are reasonably sized and kept very clean. If you want to use public transport, the motel is only 15-minute's walk from the nearest BART. Service at the front desk was friendly and responsive. The only drawback about this motel is its neighborhood it is located in......you will want to take care if you want to walk the streets at night.

Doesn’t have any inside windows but if you from any windows actually very green many food spots and many stores nearby are walking distance and BART which is a form of transportation is very close by I really like everything about this room very cozy very clean and the customer service is fantastic here every time
