My experience at this motel was, unfortunately, one of the worst I’ve ever had. I understand it’s a budget option, but there are certain minimum standards that simply weren’t met.
The Negatives:
• Cleanliness: The room was far from clean. The carpet felt sticky, and there were stains on the bedding and curtains. I even spotted a cockroach in the bathroom, which was horrifying.
• Smell: The room had a strong, musty odor, and the air freshener they used to mask it made things worse.
• Noise: The walls were paper-thin, so I could hear everything from loud neighbors to the sound of cars in the parking lot. I barely slept because of the noise.
• Amenities: The advertised “free Wi-Fi” barely worked, and the TV was outdated with limited channels. The bathroom had no hot water, and the towels provided were thin and scratchy.
The Positives: The only good thing I can say is that the check-in process was quick. The staff was indifferent but not outright rude.
