GGuest UserEverything was great, especially waking up to the view of Lake Wanaka and the 'Lone Tree' across the lake. The autumn colors were vibrant and beautiful. If it were summer, there's even a swimming pool downstairs. I wish I could have stayed for a whole week! The room was spacious too. Perfect!

GGuest UserThe hotel room was spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of room to relax and move around. Overall, everything was spotlessly clean, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials, making it super convenient to whip up a late-night meal whenever we wanted. While the location isn't right in the heart of the city center, it's just a quick few-minute drive away, so getting around was still incredibly easy and hassle-free. Highly recommend! :)

Hhxyz- host was really friendly and approachable.
- carpark was first come first served. if carpark is full, there’s parallel street parking beside the motel.
- cookware and cutlery were dirty so we had to wash everything before use.
- we were located on the second floor, had to carry our luggage up the stairs.
- 10 minutes walk to Lake Wanaka. 5-10 minutes walk to supermarket.

Hhuangke123The hotel is on the hillside, close to the lake and more than ten minutes downhill. We stayed for one night and did not use the hotel's public facilities. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. Of course, the price was not low.

Great view from the balcony with beautiful greenery all around. The location was also very convenient — walking distance to the lake and the famous Wanaka Tree. Really enjoyed the peaceful and relaxing stay

AAnonymous UserGreat location with parking, though it can get quite full. It's a short 5-minute walk to the lake, and there's a supermarket right across the street with plenty of restaurants nearby. The room only has a microwave and a fridge; no induction or gas hob, and not many other appliances. The main door is more like a balcony door. Being on the ground floor was fine, but if you're on the second floor, you'll have to carry your luggage up the stairs. All the emails and written notices stated that check-out was at 4 PM, but upon arrival, we were told it was 5 PM. I heard that for after-hours check-in, the key would be in a safe near the front desk. The toiletries provided (hand soap, shampoo, and shower gel) are all honey-scented, which was an interesting experience. The front desk was manned by a kind grandma, and I think I saw a grandpa doing the cleaning.

AatiqyahyaI booked this motel quite last minute but i'm glad they still have a unit available for us. we travelled in a group of 5 with my parents, so 2 bedroom is our minimum requirement, no starirs, and since we wanted to cook, having a kitchenette is also an important criteria, and Alpine Motel ticks all the boxes. The motel is very near to Lake Wanaka but we still drove there. Very convenient location and very comfortable. They have a laundry outside the room in case you are already in the middle of your trip and would need a laundry day. We went to the nearest supermarket to shop and cook dinner at the motel. You can park right in front of your unit, very convenient.

CcheuwwwThis independent studio room within the RV park is quite spacious, and while the soundproofing isn't great, it offers excellent value for money! The kitchen is well-equipped with all the necessary utensils, including salt and pepper, so you can easily cook your own dinner. It has a private toilet and shower, but only soap is provided, so you'll need to bring your own toiletries. The bed is quite comfortable. We visited in mid-May, and it was very cold, but there was an electric heater and two electric blankets, although one of them wasn't working. There are very few power outlets.
You can park your car right in front of the unit. There's a laundry room in another nearby area, costing 6 NZD per wash and 6 NZD for 60 minutes of drying. There's also a communal kitchen.
The location is right in the city center, with many restaurants nearby. It's very close to Wanaka Tree and the lake, both within walking distance.
