The hotel room was spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of room to relax and move around. Overall, everything was spotlessly clean, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the essentials, making it super convenient to whip up a late-night meal whenever we wanted. While the location isn't right in the heart of the city center, it's just a quick few-minute drive away, so getting around was still incredibly easy and hassle-free. Highly recommend! :)

The front desk staff were warm and friendly. The room was clean, and the kitchen was available for cooking. The surrounding area is very quiet and beautiful. The bed was comfortable, perfect for a relaxing stay in Wanaka.

This is a highly recommended guesthouse/hotel. Check-in is self-service. It's a cozy villa with a small park outside the living room and a farm nearby. The scenery is beautiful. The guesthouse is clean and tidy, with a Nordic style, giving it a homey feel.

Location: Not by the lake, but very close to the food truck area, just around the corner. Popular slow-cooked beef and lamb, and bagels are all within a two- or three-minute walk. Walk along the road in front, passing various shops, and you'll reach the lake in ten minutes – very convenient. A small stream flows in front, and ducks roam the lawn. All rooms have balconies, and the ground floor is a lawn. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings. Children love this accommodation. Parking is allocated by room number and is ample. The front desk has closing hours; please contact them in advance if you are arriving late.

A great stay with an absolutely beautiful and unblocked view of the lake and scenery. Spacious, conveniently located, good live-in amenities with induction stove and pots.

This place is like a hostel in a small town, about a 10-15 minute walk from where the Intercity bus drops you off. I arrived early and couldn't check in yet, but I was able to store my luggage. Be aware that there's no elevator to the second floor, so you'll need to carry your bags up yourself. Surprisingly, the room had an electric blanket! Though it wasn't very cold when I was there, so I didn't need it. There's no fridge in the room; if you need to chill drinks, you'll have to use the large fridge in the laundry room. There's a small restaurant next to the front desk. I remember seeing a lot of people chatting there in the evening, mostly Chinese travelers sharing tips. You can help yourself to coffee, hot cocoa, orange juice, etc., in the restaurant anytime. Breakfast was prepared by a lovely lady; her maple pancakes were absolutely delicious! She was also incredibly patient and helpful. I asked her about getting a taxi to Roy's Peak, and she even helped call one for me. She thoughtfully reminded us to note down the taxi's number and the hotel's address for the return trip. (Here's a side note: as the taxi approached Roy's Peak, the driver, a kind lady, thoughtfully asked if we knew which number to call for the return trip. After I confirmed I did, she patiently asked if my phone had a local SIM or if I was roaming. She then explained that if roaming, I'd need to dial the New Zealand country code first. She was truly wonderful!)

The accommodation in Alpine Motel is comfortable for 4 of us. However, the kitchen amenities are not complete. Adding on a colander, kitchen paper, aluminium foil would be helpful. No proper knives for cutting meats but when we asked from the manager, Bridgette, she immediately understood our requirements & passed 1 over. Thanks to Bridgette & Rosey who replaced 1 of our electric bed heater that was not working. Appreciate their quick response & excellent service. 👍 The location of this motel is very near to New World supermarket, Puzzling World, Wanaka Lake, Three Parks etc. highly recommended for all who visits Wanaka.

This independent studio room within the RV park is quite spacious, and while the soundproofing isn't great, it offers excellent value for money! The kitchen is well-equipped with all the necessary utensils, including salt and pepper, so you can easily cook your own dinner. It has a private toilet and shower, but only soap is provided, so you'll need to bring your own toiletries. The bed is quite comfortable. We visited in mid-May, and it was very cold, but there was an electric heater and two electric blankets, although one of them wasn't working. There are very few power outlets. You can park your car right in front of the unit. There's a laundry room in another nearby area, costing 6 NZD per wash and 6 NZD for 60 minutes of drying. There's also a communal kitchen. The location is right in the city center, with many restaurants nearby. It's very close to Wanaka Tree and the lake, both within walking distance.

- host was really friendly and approachable. - carpark was first come first served. if carpark is full, there’s parallel street parking beside the motel. - cookware and cutlery were dirty so we had to wash everything before use. - we were located on the second floor, had to carry our luggage up the stairs. - 10 minutes walk to Lake Wanaka. 5-10 minutes walk to supermarket.

I arrived late and left my key on the lobby door. I checked in the next day. There are two floors, one upstairs and one downstairs. The lower one has a garage. It takes about ten minutes to drive to the tree in Wanaka.
