We could look out across the park to the beautiful Lake Wanaka. The motel’s location is perfect—just a short walk to the town center. Pip, the owner, gave us fantastic local tips on places to explore, including a drive to the Blue Pools and a hike up Mt. Iron, both of which were incredible. She also recommended dining at Hook, which we absolutely loved! Thanks so much, Pip! We can’t wait to come back next year."
