The location is very convenient, within walking distance of everything. The front desk upgraded my room, which was much more spacious and comfortable. I requested a quiet room, and the hotel took note and arranged a room facing the courtyard, which was very quiet at night, and I slept very well. The hygiene facilities are about average for Scandinavia. Again, a reminder: when staying in Scandinavian hotels, bring your own toothbrush and slippers; this hotel also requires body lotion. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of choices, and it starts very early, suitable for those catching a train or on a tour. Overall, a very comfortable stay, and I would stay again next time.

The most impressive thing is the breakfast they provided. Various kinds of food, you can have some hot plates and pancakes with drinks there. My family and I enjoyed it a lot. The location is great too and next to the beautiful Bryggen. Bergen city centre is walkable, you can just walk from the hotel to anywhere like fish market, bergen station and the famous mountains nearby. The least convenience is the bathtub. It's quite high, so for those who is not that tall need to be careful while entering. And the glass cover at bathtub only covers half, water easily spills on the floor. Overall it's a really nice hotel and worthwhile to stay.

Overall, Citybox Danmarksplass was pretty much exactly what I expected. I really liked its location and accessibility. The Danmarksplass light rail station is right nearby, making it super convenient to get to both Bergen city center and the airport. It's a huge plus for anyone traveling by public transport. I also appreciated the self-service check-in and check-out. The entire process was quick and easy, with no need to queue or spend a lot of time on formalities. This really aligns with Citybox’s concept of simple, independent, and efficient accommodation. The hotel itself was just as I had imagined: convenient, clean, simple, modern, and very practical. While the room design is minimalist, it meets all basic accommodation needs and was kept very clean and comfortable. The communal areas are also very practical, offering a guest kitchen, microwave, kettle, and other facilities. There's also luggage storage and self-service laundry, which are all very handy for travelers. If I visit Bergen again, I would definitely consider staying here. For me, it's not a luxury hotel, but a practical one that offers convenient transport, cleanliness, reasonable prices, and a very straightforward check-in process.

The room had a window and two twin beds pushed together. It wasn't large, but that's pretty standard for Europe and can't really be compared to hotels in China. The highlight was definitely the breakfast – it was incredibly rich and had a great variety of fruits like apples, pears, watermelon, and plums. Dinner and breakfast were served in the same place. Dinner was a bit pricey but absolutely delicious. We ended up eating there two nights and everything we ordered was fantastic, no duds at all. Tip: When dining here, they ask you to choose a tip percentage (5%, 10%, 15%, or skip) before you even get to the payment screen. The first time, I chose 15%, and the second time, 10%. I noticed other restaurants did this as well. The three dishes pictured were excellent; I didn't get photos of the others.

The old hotel has a sense of age, full of quiet atmosphere, many details and historic art paintings. Just next to the station, the traffic is super convenient. The breakfast is full and complete, and you can see the scenery and pedestrians outside the window.

We booked a family room for three people, which consisted of two separate rooms separated by a wall. It could sleep 3-4 people, and the bathroom was very spacious. The layout was excellent, and the hotel was very well maintained. The breakfast was fantastic; you can enjoy a delicious breakfast here, and the overall scenery was beautiful. Transportation was also very convenient; it's only about half an hour to the city center, which is near Burigana. I would definitely stay here again next time.

Room is clean and quiet. The bathroom is good size and the water pressure is very strong. Their breakfast has a wide varieties and good quality. I love the nespresso machine there.

When I booked, I clearly selected a quadruple room, but they gave me a six-person room. The front desk said, 'Your order shows a six-person room.' I'm puzzled, where did the mistake happen?

The hotel provides fans; please inquire at the front desk. You will need to fill out a personal information form upon check-in; photocopying of personal documents is not permitted. The single bed is rather narrow; it's easy to fall out of bed when turning over. The breakfast is good. Parking is free.

For a tourist without car, it is in excellent location, 7 minutes to railway station to/from airport on foot with luggage n railway ticket just cost nok44 , walking distance to cable station to Floyen mount or Bergenhus or Ferry pier and shops. I reserved a small room but got a room of good size with windows and sofa. There are supporting staff in reception always and they can help me for my enquiries. They can provide electrical kettle at request. Coffee is free in lobby. Breakfast is also good , simple with good choices. I will reserve it if I will visit Bergen again.
