Hotels with Breakfast in Bergen

The most impressive thing is the breakfast they provided. Various kinds of food, you can have some hot plates and pancakes with drinks there. My family and I enjoyed it a lot. The location is great too and next to the beautiful Bryggen. Bergen city centre is walkable, you can just walk from the hotel to anywhere like fish market, bergen station and the famous mountains nearby. The least convenience is the bathtub. It's quite high, so for those who is not that tall need to be careful while entering. And the glass cover at bathtub only covers half, water easily spills on the floor. Overall it's a really nice hotel and worthwhile to stay.

Cute little hotel in close proximity to the fisherman’s market and about 8 minute walk to Bryggen. Was easy to get to with the airport bus (about 3 minutes from the stop) I was a bit worried about the lack of air conditioning as the weather was quite hot while staying, but it wasn’t a problem. I kept the dial continuously at -5, not sure if that really did anything. Friendly and helpful people working behind the desk at check in and out. Breakfast was a wide assortment of local and western foods. Liked the assortment. There didn’t really seem to be a worker whose job it was to clear tables as that process was slow. But there was space upstairs to eat. Room was very clean with big windows, but can’t see out them as they are stained. Bed was a bit soft for my liking, like really soft and the shower leaked out onto the floor, but I think it’s reasonable considering the other positives and the price point of the hotel. Would definitely consider staying here again if ever in Bergen.

The showerhead in the room was broken, and the cleaning staff should have noticed it during their routine checks, but they didn't. I had to take a cold shower, which is unacceptable for a hotel costing over 2000 NOK a night. The breakfast was also quite poor. I'm not sure why Trip.com prominently features this hotel in Bergen; among all the cities I've stayed in Norway, this one had the highest price and the worst service.

The old hotel has a sense of age, full of quiet atmosphere, many details and historic art paintings. Just next to the station, the traffic is super convenient. The breakfast is full and complete, and you can see the scenery and pedestrians outside the window.

It’s just okay and nothing special. It won’t win awards for the aesthetics and the room is so small I don’t know how I’d manage if there were two of us, it’s a tight squeeze. Staff are hit and miss some are friendly and helpful and others seemed to have an attitude. Location is great and it’s close enough to everything you’ll need in Bergen. You can hear a lot of noise from the room, chairs scraping on floors and chat from other rooms so bring white noise! View from room of harbour great if you get a top floor.

Nice! They got me the highest floor which is great, and special type room, love it! Most of the things u need are provided except slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste. I think most rooms can see the pier view. The first night, some birds, maybe, or someone shooting fireworks at my window making loud noises and I can see some flash lights out the window. Scared die me. Food: free breakfast and dinner. Breakfast was great, dinner ok but love breakfast more. Trip.com says the bottle water are free, but in fact they will be charged. I didn’t notice that and took one, before check out, just saw the pricing list(ｰ ｰ;) Location: a bit tricky to find the ENTRANCE! When u see the building, TUR RIGHT! To the right u can find the real entrance( the front one is no longer in use). very convenient, located at the heart of Bergen, the Bergen museum is next to the hotel. The fifth photo is very close to the hotel. A few minutes walk to the mountain tram station. By the way, u can ask the front desk and get the key for accessing the roof top( third and fourth photo)

The hotel has a great location, right near the pier. Although the exterior is European-style architecture, the rooms are modern and simple. The rooms are spacious enough to easily accommodate two large suitcases. Room cleaning was very prompt. The restaurant is indeed beautiful, and the breakfast is quite plentiful. The staff are all warm and attentive. Parking was done in the hotel's recommended parking lot for over 47 hours, costing 467 kronor. I don't know about any discounts, just for your reference.

I originally booked a Deluxe City View Room with a balcony for two nights, from the 10th to the 12th. However, due to a canceled overnight train, I needed to check in a night earlier, so I booked a Standard Room for the 9th on the same day, as I would be arriving very late. Since the two bookings were for different room types, I checked out on the 10th and switched to the Deluxe City View Room with a balcony. But I was extremely disappointed! When I entered the deluxe room, I found it was exactly the same as the Standard Room I stayed in last night. So, I went to the front desk to inquire if there had been a mistake. Why were the deluxe and standard rooms identical? The front desk staff member who responded initially said he wasn't entirely sure, as he wasn't a permanent employee there and was just helping out (though his attitude was fine). After several inquiries, he told me that Room 306, which I was in, was indeed a Deluxe City View Room. I pointed out that the pictures on Trip.com showed a balcony, but my room didn't have one. He then told me that only three rooms in the entire hotel have balconies, and those balconies are shared with other rooms! I found this quite absurd! However, there were no other rooms available, and I didn't want to ruin my travel mood, so I reluctantly accepted it. If I hadn't added that extra night in the standard room at the last minute, I wouldn't have had a comparison and wouldn't have encountered this unpleasant experience. I don't know if this is a problem with the platform's information or with the hotel itself!

We had a pleasant stay at Scandic Byparken. The location is very convenient and central, with easy access to the city centre, restaurants, shops and attractions. It is also within walking distance of the train station, which made getting around Bergen very easy for us. The room was quite simple and a little small, but comfortable enough for our stay. Breakfast was good with a nice variety of choices, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a good and convenient hotel for a short stay in Bergen, especially if location and accessibility are your priorities.

For a tourist without car, it is in excellent location, 7 minutes to railway station to/from airport on foot with luggage n railway ticket just cost nok44 , walking distance to cable station to Floyen mount or Bergenhus or Ferry pier and shops. I reserved a small room but got a room of good size with windows and sofa. There are supporting staff in reception always and they can help me for my enquiries. They can provide electrical kettle at request. Coffee is free in lobby. Breakfast is also good , simple with good choices. I will reserve it if I will visit Bergen again.
