Guest UserWe had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at The Pampines Villa. The villa we stayed in huge with 3 beds on the 3rd floor, 2 beds on the second and 8 bunk beds on the 1st floor. It was airy and at the same time, warm enough at night to be comfortable despite the cold weather. Breakfast was really good at the L'amonia Cafe and Desserts. Service was excellent - responsive and unobtrusive. We will stay there again when we next visit Kundasang. The place is well-patronised and deserving of its popularity.

Munirah_lahThe place is such a dream! So beautiful & very relaxing, away from the bustling city. Just that the resort itself is a distance away from the restaurant. Definitely need your own transportation. But the staff are so helpful especially Mr Lee. He takes care of us very well. He helps to send us to & fro to the restaurant during our breakfast session. He even helps to decorate our room to suprise my husband for his birthday celebration.

The service provided by the staff was excellent. They were polite, friendly, and hardworking throughout our stay. We especially enjoyed the breakfast, with the fried mee hoon being a highlight. The room was very clean and well maintained, which made our stay even more comfortable. Above all, the stunning breakfast view of Mount Kinabalu truly made the experience unforgettable.

Guest UserOverall, a very pleasant and comfortable stay.
Pros:
Easy check-in, with a receptionist available.
Great location, only about a 5-minute walk to Bataras Supermarket, with Uncle Bob and Aicha in the same row, making it very convenient for food and daily necessities.
Although it is close to the supermarket and shops, the area was surprisingly quiet at night.
No bad smells in the house or around the toilets.
The view is pretty good and better than expected.
I requested a ground-floor unit because we had an older guest with us, and they kindly arranged a ground-floor unit for us. Really appreciated this.
The staff were very helpful and friendly.
The floors and kitchen were clean.
The kitchen utensils were also clean, which was a big plus. Many guesthouses have clean rooms but dirty kitchen utensils, so I really appreciated this.
The place is spacious and suitable for a big group.
Cons:
The bidet spray/water pressure was a little too strong, and some of the pipes were leaking.
One of the toilets became clogged on the second day.
There is a small graveyard nearby, but personally, it was not an issue for us at all.
Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and felt comfortable throughout. The convenient location, cleanliness, helpful staff, and spacious layout made this a great choice, especially for a big group. We definitely would love to stay here again!

Anonymous UserIt was a beautiful stay. The view in the morning was amazing and there’s even a viewpoint for you to watch the sunrise over Mount Kinabalu. The only thing is that since it’s in nature, you need to drive out to get food. There’s a cafe in the premises but it was closed for renovations unfortunately. Also, there are a few stray dogs that don’t bother us, but we need to keep our shoes indoors or else these playful babies would take them and run. Otherwise, everything is great.

Guest UserAll good! We chose a room with plenty of single beds. There were 5 beds, haha, perfect for families, friends, or even a honeymoon. The room was really spacious too. Just a heads-up about the water heater, you can't adjust the temperature; the water gets super hot! You have to mix in cold water to get it lukewarm. Overall, it was great. There's a kettle and a water dispenser right outside the room door. And the views? Right at Mount Kinabalu itself!

Anonymous UserRequest for quiet room but its not that quiet because the wall between the room too thin that you hear someone snoring, talking and do whatever they doing. Staff not helpful at all just give instruction on how to go to the room not really showing when there’s 2 block. Construction still going on at the back of the room. The restaurant got so many flies till i dont have appetite to finish my meal. In room so got flies. So disappointed but because of view i think its worth the price.

I would like to start my review by complimenting all the staff ,from the receptionist, kitchen staff, to the housekeeping team. All of them truly deserve a 5-star award for their excellent service.
The receptionist, Ms. Liza (if I’m not mistaken), was very kind and welcoming. I arrived at the resort around 2:00 PM without making any prior reservation, yet she patiently showed me every type of room the resort offers. After viewing all the room options, I made my decision, and the check-in process was smooth and easy with clear explanations given.
The room was quite spacious, and an additional bed could be added with a small extra charge. Whenever I needed anything, I just had to make a call, and the staff responded quickly and efficiently.
My stay included breakfast, and the food provided was good. For dinner, the restaurant also offers a variety of dishes, which is very convenient as guests don’t need to drive out to look for food.
That said, I do have a few suggestions for improvement to make the stay even better. The beds could be upgraded, as they felt a bit old and not very comfortable. The Wi-Fi coverage also needs improvement, especially since the CelcomDigi network coverage in the area is quite weak. In addition, the television system could be upgraded. While the resort offers beautiful scenery to enjoy, sometimes the weather doesn’t allow guests to go outside, so having better in-room entertainment would be appreciated.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay and truly appreciate the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality , I hope to visit again in the future.

Mount Kinabalu at 6am will really surprise you😲
We live on the highest floor,
When you open the door and look to the left👀, you can see the whole Mount Kinabalu, and there are no wires or anything else blocking your view of taking photos😍😍😍
When you open the door and look to the right👀, you can see a sea of clouds, and the wind is really comfortable and cool🥶
But there are a lot of small insects in the room, and the bed sheets are not very clean, so they itch..😂
