Hotels with Breakfast in Ranau

Stayed in Nepenthes Suite. It’s close to many hiking trails in Kinabalu park and hence it’s in the midst of nature. You can go on trails of varying lengths and difficulty. Lots of birdwatching too. However one will need to rent a car or hire a driver to reach this place from KK city. And without a vehicle it’s difficult to explore the surrounding places. But if you are content to just relax and take walks in the park and enjoy nature this is a great place to stay. However the rooms are dated especially the pantry and bathroom. They encourage you to take breakfast later at 9am instead of 6.30 am. This is to avoid the rush hour when those climbing mt Kinabalu take breakfast before their ascent. However I found that some of the items were already no longer available and they were not replenished.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had a wonderful stay and a very pleasant experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The location was convenient, and the facilities met all my expectations. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and I felt welcomed throughout my stay. Everything was well organized, making the trip enjoyable and stress-free. I would definitely recommend this property to other travellers and look forward to staying here again in the future. We had a wonderful stay here. The villa was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The view of Mount Kinabalu was absolutely breathtaking, especially in the morning. The atmosphere was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing family getaway. Everything was well prepared, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely love to come back. Highly recommended!

We just wanted to try doing it in a capsule.. but this is the first time we've done it in a capsule.. the place is a bit scary.. but we'll try doing it in a tent later.. everything else is ok..

The view is magnificent. You can see the mountain very clear at early morning. The road condition to this place is quite challenging for 2wd vehicle. Extra cafeful during drive is a must cause some of the road is steep and visibility during night is limited especially when its raining. Overall im satisfied with my stay.
