We absolutely loved our stay! The view is amazing, offering a stunning sunrise and a room overlooking the sea and pool. The check-in process was also incredibly easy. It’s perfect for a family of five adults. The bathroom is spacious and the room is comfortable. The towels left lint clinging to our skin, which was a bit disappointing. However, I enjoyed our overall stay. I hope you can change them.

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Timurbay with three adults. The apartment was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We especially loved the swimming pools and the easy access to the beach. The peaceful atmosphere made it a great place to unwind. Highly recommended for families, friends, or anyone looking for a relaxing beach holiday in Kuantan! 🌊😊

The hotel's location is very strategic and makes it easy to visit nearby attractions. The staff were also friendly and helpful when needed. *************, the location is close to the mosque and many famous grilled fish stalls in Tanjung Lumpur. The ceiling of the toilet and the bottom inner part of the toilet door need immediate maintenance. Overall, it's good and satisfactory.

Really enjoyed my stay here. I especially loved the interior design — very nice, stylish and welcoming. The room was very spacious, and an extra mattress was provided as well, which was a nice bonus. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including Satay Zul and Roti Tempayan Kassim Baba, so finding food is very convenient. The check-in instructions were clear, detailed and easy to follow. Despite having many places nearby, the accommodation itself was quiet and peaceful. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Location 1. The location is probably one of the best things about this hotel, especially if you’re here for food hunting! Just across the road, you’ll find plenty of famous and viral cafés and restaurants to explore. 2. It’s right in town, so getting around and accessing everything is pretty easy. 3. Kuantan River is just behind the hotel, which is actually really nice if you enjoy a morning or evening brisk walk. 4. Kuantan Tower is also just behind the hotel, so if you have some extra time, you can easily squeeze in a visit. Room 1. The room is carpeted, and unfortunately, this was one of the things I didn’t really enjoy. I have a sensitive nose, and the carpet felt quite dusty and not very well maintained. You can even feel the dustiness when walking barefoot. 2. The bed was comfortable though, and I actually liked the pillows! They even promote the pillows in the room, and apparently you can purchase them if you really like them. 3. One thing I found really weird — there’s no power point next to the bed! 🤣 There was only one convenient place to charge our phones and it was all the way across the room from the bed. Very, very far when you just want to lie down and scroll through your phone! Others The bathroom was okay and pretty decent. There’s also a good-sized fridge in the room, which is always useful. Another plus — no deposit was required during check-in. Overall, the location is definitely the biggest advantage, especially if food hunting is part of your Kuantan trip. The room itself was okay, but there are a few things that could be improved, especially the carpet and the lack of power points near the bed. There’s also plenty of parking that the hotel provides behind. Will we stay here again? Probably not. It wasn’t a terrible stay, but there are other hotels we’d probably try next time.

Highly satisfied with our stay at this homestay. The house was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. All the necessary amenities were provided, and the location was convenient. The host was friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. It’s a perfect place for a family getaway. We would definitely stay here again if we visit Kuantan in the future. Although the exterior of the hotel looks a little dated, don’t let that fool you—the interior is beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The room and bathroom were spotless. The towels, bed linens, and pillowcases were clean, fresh, and smelled great. The room was also well equipped with almost everything you might need, including an iron, hair dryer, face towels, and room slippers. The air conditioning and lighting worked perfectly throughout my stay. One feature I especially appreciated was the reading light above the bed. I don’t like sleeping in complete darkness, so being able to leave just that light on made the room very comfortable for me. Overall, I had a pleasant stay and would recommend this hotel.

Birthday Stay at Kasturi Cherating 🌴 We went to Kasturi Cherating to celebrate my birthday. Upon arrival, the buggy picked us up from the parking area and brought us to the lobby. We received a welcome drink, although it was a little too sweet for my liking. Interestingly, the buggy driver was also the one who assisted us with the check-in process. This gave me the impression that the resort might be slightly understaffed, as the same staff seemed to be handling multiple roles. We had to wait for almost an hour as it wasn’t quite time for check-in yet. While waiting, we were served complimentary tea, which was actually really good. Then we headed to our villa. The room was spacious and had a beautiful beach view, which I really loved. However, I was quite disappointed with the overall maintenance and cleanliness of the villa. There were visible stains on the floor, especially in the bathroom, and we also experienced leaking from the ceiling. It was a shame because the room itself had so much potential. For breakfast, the selection was quite limited and the food was not particularly impressive. I was expecting more variety and better quality, especially for a 5-star resort. Overall, we still had a pleasant stay and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. However, considering the price we paid, the overall experience did not really feel like a 5-star resort. I was expecting a more luxurious experience, better-maintained facilities, higher cleanliness standards and service that matches the 5-star positioning. I hope the management can look into the staffing, maintenance, cleanliness and food quality. The resort has a beautiful setting and great potential, and I would definitely love to visit again if these areas are improved. Cleanliness: 6/10 Food: 5/10 Room: 9/10 Overall: 7/10

This guesthouse is great! It's right by the sea and the sand on the beach is really fine. The place is well-equipped with everything you need, including a washing machine and kitchenware. The only minor issue is that the shower floor can be a bit slippery. Communicating with the host via WhatsApp was very easy and they were super friendly.
