Melissa Beach Villas is worth every penny. The service from the staff is impeccable. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very well decorated. Everything you would need is supplied within the room. The grounds are lovely with 2 pools. One is fresh water and the other salted. We celebrated our drivers birthday with a traditional Sri Lankan dinner menu which was was delicious. We requested a cake with a candle and the staff delivered as required. We dined out under the gazebo which was lovely with the sound of the waves and a cool breeze. Breakfast was superb and so very tasty. I would rate a 12/10 if this was possible. Thank you for an enjoyable stay

Four people booked two rooms. This one is on the first floor. The facilities are average, but they are air-conditioned. They ordered the whale watching boat ticket from the boss the next day. The ticket was handed to the driver. The driver changed the cruise ship and made a difference.

Location location location! This spot is perfect to soak up everything Mirissa beach has to offer. It’s right by the main beach in the town with options for Snorkling, whale watching, dining, drinking, parrot island & coconut tree hill just minutes away. The room was lovely, spacious & clean. We had a very small problem of monkeys coming onto our balcony during the night & rearranged our chairs & drying clothes for us but the friendly staff took care of everything in the morning. The perfect hotel to enjoy Mirissa.

A mini hotel with a very pleasant family couple of managers. Rooms are spacious, with air conditioning and fan, large shower rooms. There are balconies on the second floor.A delicious breakfast, 14 days of repeated none. Located on a hill, so the ocean is always light breeze. A little far from the center, so quiet, monkeys and pawlines run. Three beaches with different infrastructure, two family cafes with local home kitchens and juices are available on foot. We really liked it.

Good location. It is in beach road and plenty of options to eat outside. Everything is in walkable distance. We had sea view room which gave a beautiful start to the day in early morning. The only thing that troubled me was there was no elevator hence I had to take the luggage through stairs to 2nd floor. The owner helped me as well to carry the luggage. I would definitely recommend this place for your stay as it provides a good atmosphere. They have a kitchen for your self cooking where you can prepare your own food. The room was very clean, the bed was facing the sea, and you could see the sea when you opened your eyes. There was a swimming pool on the first floor. The swimming pool was cleaned every day. The bathroom had two washing locations. The hotel was downstairs by the sea and it was close to the coconut forest. There are also many places to eat nearby! The service staff is a local uncle in Lanca, very warm and thoughtful, recommended!

This is a guest house, not a hotel in classical understanding. Here the atmosphere is made by the host service: it is very good. He advised the places, brought a new crossover to the roast instead of broken, allowed to use hot water and gas in the kitchen... In general the place is good. We didn't like a noisy street from which nowhere to go: in 5-6 in the morning already pursued tuck-tucks. With hot water there may be problems.

My wife and I stayed here during our vacation in Sri Lanka, choosing it because of the high Google ratings. The location really impressed us. The hotel is literally a step away from the beach and less than five minutes’ walk to town, which made it very convenient. Sitting on the balcony overlooking the beach and listening to the waves was easily the best part of the stay. The lobby was simple but acceptable, and there is a seafood restaurant right next to the hotel. At check-in, there was a small hiccup. I booked through Trip.com, but they couldn’t find my booking at first. After about ten minutes, they managed to sort it out and confirmed that the booking came via Agoda. The receptionists were friendly and welcoming, even offering us a drink on arrival. Our room on the second floor had a great view of the sea. The shower had good water pressure, although the bathroom could use better ventilation. The toiletries seemed diluted, so we ended up using our own. Unfortunately, the air conditioning became a real problem. It leaked so badly that the room flooded twice, soaking my shoes. Despite my request for a pail to manage the water, they initially only gave floor mats, which was very frustrating. By the time they finally sent a pail, it was too late. We barely slept that night because of the constant dripping sound. Overall, the location and friendliness of the staff were strong points, but the poor handling of the air conditioning issue really spoiled our experience.

Небольшой отельчик в 50 метрах от океана. Местоположение отличное. Очень вкусные завтраки, на выбор омлет, скрамбл, яичница плюс йогурт, фрукты, тосты и кофе. Номер очень простой без телевизора, но нам его и не надо было. По вечерам комары, как в России. Ночью, если не закрыть дверь, в номер могут залезть бурундуки и порыться в чемодане и съесть вашу еду)))))). В общем отель хороший, рекомендую

I enjoyed my time at Ara Beach Resort, thanks to its excellent location and the fabulous pool. The staff were friendly and added to the resort's pleasant atmosphere. However, I'd suggest a little more focus on cleaning and keeping the buffet breakfast items hot. The food was delicious but consistently served cold. With these small changes, Ara Beach Resort could be even more wonderful.
