Hotels with Parking in Shimoda

This was my first time visiting Minamiizu, and a friend recommended this hotel – it truly lived up to expectations! The accommodations were great, and the food was delicious. My only complaint is regarding the shuttle service. The day before check-in, I specifically asked about pickup details through Trip.com customer service. The hotel only sent a text message with the pickup time, but not the location. I assumed, like most hotels, that it would pick up in front of the JR station. To my surprise, I waited from 2 PM to 3 PM and saw no sign of the hotel bus. I started to feel something was wrong and checked Trip.com, where I saw a guest comment mentioning that after 3:10 PM, there would be no more pickups. Panicked, I immediately called the hotel. That's when I learned the hotel bus has a specific waiting point, around the corner, to the right of the JR station (and then to the right again). If this isn't communicated beforehand, and there are no signs at the station, it's impossible for guests to know where to wait. Therefore, I strongly suggest the hotel standardize its pickup service by clearly stating both the pickup time and location in advance. Both pieces of information are essential!

It's a bit far! But it's worth it Beautiful beach. They explained everything at the reception) booked a private Onsen. We swam in the pool at night ☺️ it's the best thing ever. The bar is open from 8 pm to 10 pm and the bartender Hiroku, who made us cocktails, an excellent gin and tonic for 300 yen - it's just a gift!!! Hiroku, greetings from the girls from Russia and thank you for the vacation!! The rooms are clean and cozy! You could leave your things after checking out and go to the beach BREAKFASTS! I have never had such breakfasts in any hotel in Japan)) omelet, vegetables, fruits, pancakes and unlimited coffee 🙏🥰 The view from the cliff is gorgeous 🥹 the Shirahama hotel is very cute and cozy! I recommend 🥲🙏 Unfortunately there was no transfer ((( But I would come back here again 😍✨🫠🙏

The service was very good and the place is amazing. Nevertheless they didn’t allow us to have dinner or breakfast in the hotel as they said it was fully booked, and when requested for late check in we were asked to pay more. It would have been expected to be able to at least check in a bit later since we couldn’t enjoy the dinner or breakfast in the hotel and was inconvenient.

Amazing place to stay,aesthetic view and a great amazing dinner and breakfast ambience. I choose and booked the private villa with pool and which is good,I enjoyed the dinner foods they served us,so classy and elegant presentation. So I ordered the bottle of botega champagne which is fit for the foods they offered. Lovely it was and amazing wonderful evening. After we had a night pool with my partner and we bring our own foods and drinks champagne for the long night to celebrate our stay. I’m very satisfied for my stay at this place. Staff was really nice and good at their service. Perfect 👌 I love to came back again soon… Thank you so much 🤞🏻❣️

This was my first in-depth visit to Shimoda, and the hotel was conveniently located just two bus stops (about a 3-minute ride) from Shimoda JR Station. Right across from the hotel, you can rent electric-assist bicycles for 2000 yen a day, which I highly recommend. The dinner and breakfast were decent, but the service was really good. My fondest memory is definitely the lobby where you can enjoy complimentary drinks like beer, sake, and even champagne!

The overall environment is nice, with a sea view. However, since it's off-season, some bar singers aren't working. Driving here is a good option, but taking the bus is inconvenient, with buses running every hour. I didn't realize when booking that the room was for one person only. When checking out, because we were two people, the hotel asked me to pay an additional 800 RMB. They didn't mention the extra fee at check-in... The service experience wasn't very good. I certainly didn't notice this small detail, so please be aware of it when booking.

The traffic is not very convenient, suitable for self-driving, parking is free It is owned by Yidongyuan. Quality guaranteed 300 RMB one berth and two meals, including breakfast and dinner They are all buffets, especially the dinner is rich in variety, even drinks. Japanese beer drink to the wall

It is recommended to drive by car or chartered accommodation will be very convenient, otherwise there is a bus to Shita Station in the morning, and the bus has been taken three times. If it is not for the departure station, it will be late, and the backpackers will do a good job in advance. The accommodation is good, very quiet, cleaned very clean, not far from the white sand beach, not good for taxi! ! ! Very bad for taxi! ! ! Taxis cannot be reserved, all by bus, didi and go will show no car, the whole field seems to be like this, even if the software display in the station is like this.

I came here just for the luxurious buffet! The hot spring pool has indoor and outdoor areas. The indoor area is a bit simple, while the outdoor area can smell the barbecue smoke coming from the restaurant. The parking lot is a bit small, the staff will park for you so don't worry, but there is no guarantee that there will be no space. Next is the buffet part. As for the barbecue, the meat is just average, neither particularly delicious nor particularly bad. I would mainly recommend sashimi and other seafood. As for desserts, there are quite a lot of small cakes and they are delicious, but they will be picked up by everyone and look unsightly, so they are not so delicious. But you can still give them a chance 🤣. The restaurant environment is the same as other affordable all-you-can-eat restaurants, the floor is a bit sticky so be careful.

A nice inn that wonders why it has a bad reputation. A mature couple who can convey their long-term work just by talking to a building that makes you feel the history that is not in a new hotel. I enjoyed the atmosphere.
