I had a room with a private mini-onsen, Japanese-style. There's a refrigerator in the room, but they don't recommend bringing food to the room. I assume this is to avoid attracting insects. I spent my evenings in the bath admiring the stars. The public onsen is also wonderful (they change the location for women and men every day). The only thing I encountered was an Asian girl sitting in the outdoor public pool taking photos; after I made a comment, she left. The Japanese-style breakfast and dinner are very generous. I couldn't always finish them. I want to come back again. Although the swimming season officially opens in July, I swam in the sea; the water was about 20 degrees Celsius. Some people complained about the outdated design, but for me, that's actually the highlight of this hotel—the Japanese atmosphere with bamboo flooring and mats.

How should I put it? This is definitely the concept of a youth hostel, but the youth hostel I booked for 1,890 yuan didn't even have breakfast, so it was not worth it. There was no way I could book another hotel because I had stayed in a newly renovated hostel run by an elderly couple that was over 60 square meters the night before. It cost the same amount, and that was super value! This is super not worth it 😓, and there is no elevator. The area is very small, just like the Japanese style. The bathroom is shared, although there is a small hot spring pool that is ok, but everything else is average. The quilt cover and mattress are that kind of brown, which is the color of the bed in a hotel that I fear the most. If it's not white, you can't tell whether it's clean or dirty. In short, it's okay to stay within 500 yuan. In the summer, you must check the weather. It rained heavily for two days when we went there 🌧️. We couldn't go out, and it was very inconvenient to take a taxi. Just for reference.

Amazing place to stay,aesthetic view and a great amazing dinner and breakfast ambience. I choose and booked the private villa with pool and which is good,I enjoyed the dinner foods they served us,so classy and elegant presentation. So I ordered the bottle of botega champagne which is fit for the foods they offered. Lovely it was and amazing wonderful evening. After we had a night pool with my partner and we bring our own foods and drinks champagne for the long night to celebrate our stay. I’m very satisfied for my stay at this place. Conveniently located near Shimoda Port and Black Ship Museum, it's also an easy walk from Shimoda Station and other local attractions. Our room had a lovely sea view. The service was excellent, very polite and welcoming. The facilities were great; we booked a room with a private open-air onsen, which was very convenient, and there's also a public large bathhouse and a kids' play room. The cleanliness was top-notch.

The accommodation is good, very quiet, cleaned very clean, not far from the white sand beach, not good for taxi! ! ! Very bad for taxi! ! ! Taxis cannot be reserved, all by bus, didi and go will show no car, the whole field seems to be like this, even if the software display in the station is like this.

We chose a room with an ocean view. For dinner, we added an all-you-can-drink option and enjoyed salad, yakiniku, seafood, crab, and sushi 🍣. There were also a huge variety of desserts, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. For breakfast, there was a wide selection of dried fish and sushi 🍣. We were very satisfied with the food! The bath was... well... but We would definitely like to stay here again!

A nice inn that wonders why it has a bad reputation. A mature couple who can convey their long-term work just by talking to a building that makes you feel the history that is not in a new hotel. I enjoyed the atmosphere.
