The property has amazing ocean views high on an outcropping, but none of the rooms with an ocean view have a balcony, except the very edge of the east wing. Wonderful gardens with a path lading down to a small beach that isn't too noteworthy. The rooms have been updated since the construction and are pretty good overall. The pool was closed in June, which was pretty disappointing, especially as the beach is below par. The onsen facilities met expectation. The beds are firm, which I loved, but not everyone likes a firm mattress. The hotel operates a bus service to pick up guests from the train station twice an hour from 9-5pm. If you are doing dinner out in the town or drinks in the evening, you have to grab a taxi back as the walk is a bit of a hike. The hotel staff are very friendly and kind, the concierge knows the area and has great recommendation for activities...wonderful and friendly people. The hotel restaurant serves a nice mostly Japanese breakfast (as expected) with local delicacies, wide range of teas, coffee and juice as well as a great selection of breads and fresh fruit. The hotel restaurant for dinner is average. Our group ordered a range of items off the menu and no one was terribly impressed. The lone stand out was the French Onion soup, packed with flavor, though a bit light on the cheese. Would stay here again if the price was right, was able to get rooms at a discount on this stay as it was rainy season.

Very good flight and comfortable in front of Izu Express Shimoda Station. I arrived by bus, but there is also a bus terminal. However, the number of flights is not large. It is in a good place to check the time and spend the time adjusting to the bus time. The room was large and cozy. The front desk is not on the １ floor of the building, but there is a guide on the elevator. It is a little difficult to find, but you can see it if you look well. The front desk had a polite staff. The morning bread is also available near the front desk, but I was grateful. However, at night, there is no pleasure town around ... is it because of the corona? It was saved because there was a supermarket. It is recommended for people who use railways and buses.

I dont usually write about the places I stayed to but I just thought this one deserve a review.. also to help others who is thinking of booking this villa but having second thought just like me since it doesnt provide much photos. Im a kind of person who gather information first before making decision... with this one i cant get that much info or review but book it anyway since it is only for a 1 night stay.. so we stayed there for a night and i must say my family and I loves the room we stayed too. aside from the clean room, the man who assist us was really nice up until we check out and waited until we go.. wave goodbye at us and my kids wave back to him and they were smiling... felt like u just went to a family vacation house and a family is waving bye at u saying see u soon... but anyway this is my review... dont get discourage by the apperance of the outside & the lobby it may not look fancy but for us it looks fine I provided some photos... anyway when we get to the room I was amazed because its very clean and spacious it felt like it is more than what I paid for. I didnt expect too much because I know I chose the cheapest place that I can book since we just need a place to rest after beach and before a long drive the next day but it exceeded my expectation... their very generous with their amenities they have instant coffee and electric kettle, theres also a fridge where you can put your food, with us what we did is we already brought some food so we dont need to buy outside after beach because there is no restaurant close to the villa but if u didn’t brought food there is a close convenient store at shirahama beach where you can buy food and bring it at the villa they have table and couch too inside the room... oh I love the shampoo and conditioner the brand is shisheido (so generous) the bottles were big that even you stay for a week it will be enough they provide shaver, toothbrush and toothpaste too and the towels are white/clean... I love everything about this place the only negative thing I can say is that the top part of the shower curtain has little mold but we didn’t mind since the shower curtain is clean just only the top part maybe because its not new but like i said we didnt mind, because bathroom is so clean... Were planning to go back shimoda again next year since 1 day is not enough to explore it and we will definitely book this place again... thanks again to the man who assisted us. He is so nice...

I stayed in a room on the 9th floor of the silver ridge. I thought it was a good inn to have you get a hand towel by the shuttle car at Inatori Station. I thought, but I was disappointed. Check-in was over at 13:30, but wait in the lobby until 14:00. There is no welcome drink while waiting. At 14:00, when you enter the room, you will be guided all at once. Take your luggage and enter the room. The room has a window open bath. Although it has a panoramic view of the sea, the roof of the entrance building is in the way on the west side. It was nice to be spacious and beautiful because it was renovated. However, the service is not good for an inn of 50,000 per person. There is a charge for drinks in the refrigerator, and there is no tea confectionery in the room. There is no guide in the hall and web search. It's free in the lounge on the 6th floor, but it's troublesome to go, so I want you to prepare it in your room. Even though it was a warm time, the open-air room was too hot and you couldn't enter it unless you added water. I was happy to have pajamas. Supper is a room meal, but the pace of coming out was slow, and Mr. Nakai's customer service felt uncomfortable. It's a pity that the sashimi was also dripped and didn't look good. Breakfast is a buffet, but there were few types and the taste was normal. I went to Izu, but it's a content that has no features. I often stay at this class inn, but I feel the simplification of the service and I don't think it's worth the price.

I stayed for one night in early August with a child of 4 and 7 years old for Shirahama Ohama Beach in front of the hotel. The hotel on the beach is very convenient for bathing with children, but I felt that the line was better here. It was easy for children without having to return to the room. It was a room plan (main building confirmation) plan, so it was the third floor of the lowest floor in the room, but it was an outstanding view with a full view of the beach and pool. The only thing that is dissatisfied is the dining hall. There is no window on the mountain side of the first floor and the atmosphere like a large hall for the reception a long time ago. I thought this was perfect if I could see the sea on the top floor or the sea. The content of the meal was buffet. The water was quite cold, so I was grateful to receive a bath towel. I went in the evening and felt a little cold. I didn't swim there, but it's about 25 meters long. The scenery is just wonderful. Sunset, sea, sunset... I could stand by the pool all the time. I returned with the sunset, but the night pool was beautiful at night. It was lit up. You can see the pool from the room. Dinner is a buffet. You can choose from 6:00 to 7:30 or 7:30 to 9:00. It was delicious as usual, and I was satisfied with the number of items. It was full of seafood such as sashimi, grilled shrimp, grilled turban shell in Burgundy, and sushi. I don't know how many pieces of sashimi I ate (laughs) Of course, there are also meat dishes such as roast beef and rafute. I enjoyed it for an hour and a half, but the guests with children returned to their rooms. I think there were meals that children could eat, such as gratin, shrimp chili, and seafood curry, but it's strange. It was surprising that we were the only ones who stayed until the closing time. Breakfast is also a buffet. Same as the day before, I'm satisfied. Of particular note are the mushroom omelet rice and orange French toast. It is said to be a specialty of Izu. I replaced it several times. I ate a lot of sweets for breakfast as well. The yam compote is impressive. I used the open-air bath twice, one at night and one in the morning. A bathing fee of 150 yen will be charged at check-out, so the more you enter, the more you will get. With an ocean view, I felt like I was soaking in the sea. Feels like an infinity pool. Finally, about transportation. It is safer not to walk from the station. There are many slopes and you will be tired. I am very grateful for the free pick-up service, but I wish it was on time. Is there only one car? We booked the transfer from the train station to the hotel in advance. However, he didn't come to the station when the time came, and when I called him, he was told that he was on his way. Hotel → station transfer told the front desk the departure time on the night of the first day. However, when it was time to leave, the car was nowhere to be found, and the driver would be there in five minutes. It was time for the train, so I was quite confused. The driver was a pro, so I'm glad I made it in time. I was blessed with friends who accompanied me, and it was a fun trip. The hotel was also good overall.

I went on a ４ consecutive holiday in autumn. Because it is ITO en hotel, the outside is quite old, but the interior is cleanly renovated and kept clean. The meal is ok, but it is originally quite reasonable for the price, and it feels like the content of the price. Especially because it is ITO, there is no good seafood. I think it is satisfactory for my family, but it is not the content that I expect to taste. However, considering the cost and content, the sea (Shimoda port) is close and convenient and the environment is good, so I think it is a recommended inn if it is important for Cospa.
