This hotel boasts a wonderful location in a picturesque part of the city, right next to Glover Garden. It's the only hotel here, and it's truly magnificent. Housed in a meticulously restored historic building, it features modern amenities and offers stunning bay views. Everything you need for a comfortable stay and pleasant strolls around the area is here. The rooms are spacious with luxurious interiors and comfortable beds. Every detail has been thought of, from the coffee machine and bathrobes to all the toiletries. Getting here might be a bit of a trek, as the hotel is on a hill, about a 10-15 minute uphill walk from public transport stops. However, this is more than compensated for by its incredibly quiet location, free from bustling traffic and crowds. I'd like to give a special shout-out to one of the hotel staff, Peiyun Lin! She is an exceptional professional with excellent English (she's from Taiwan), gracious, and competent – an ideal employee. She responded instantly to our problem when we found a large cockroach in the bathroom! She arrived quickly with special products to treat the area. If only there were more employees like her! Thank you!

The room is clean and spacious and the staff is nice. The location is super convenient that closed to the China Street for dinning and we can go shopping at the street near the hotel.

The most comfortable hotel of our Japan trip so far. The beddings are so comfortable we had the best sleep here. The rooms are well thought out and designed. Lots of surface to put things, lots of hanging area for towels and clothes, something most hotel overlook. Will definitely recommend.

This was my first visit to Nagasaki, driven by my craving for Nagasaki Champon. The hotel is incredibly close to Chinatown, and with the festival currently underway, the location couldn't be better. There's a convenience store and plenty of restaurants nearby. All the staff were very friendly, and I appreciated the guidebooks available for foreign guests in English, Chinese, and Korean, which was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again. Location is conveniently close to train station and tram. Having a cosy apartment of 2 bedrooms with kitchen and everything else that you'd have at home is great. The downside is that the building has 10+ levels but only has one small elevator. Hallway to the units is quite narrow too, which is a struggle for a big group with luggages. The reception is in a different building, which makes it hard to not be uncomfortably stared at when taking amenities during the stay, as the staffs couldn't tell if we were just guests or random people wanting freebies. The air conditioning unit in one of the rooms we booked was leaking water, which I flagged with the reception straight away because I didn't want them to blame me for it after checking out. Staffs didn't offer any help/assistance, they just asked if it's fine for us to continue keeping a towel underneath and if we needed more towels.

A great location to be for Nagasaki. Chinatown is right outside the door, a street car is right down the street that goes to all the tourist destinations, and walking distance to many other options for food, bars, etc. The rooms are exactly as pictured, a bit dated but not in bad shape. Only thing is some older ports in the bed/desk haven't been cleaned in a while. Sheets, bathroom and towels are all clean so no complaints there. The baths were clean and always a great addition to the stay in Hotel Dormy Inn's, but it is rather basic so don't expect an extravagant design. The ramen as always was great and the breakfast offered lots of diverse options that were all very tasty!

The location is a bit off the beaten path, making it ideal for self-driving tourists. Due to its proximity to nature, you might occasionally encounter a few insects in the rooms, but the hotel is generally clean and well-maintained. It boasts a wide array of recreational facilities, along with services such as restaurants, hot springs, and massages. The pricing is reasonable, offering good value for money, so you can easily spend a full and enjoyable vacation without leaving the hotel. I highly recommend it for families looking for a relaxing getaway!

It's located on a pretty steep hill, and there isn't much commercial activity around. You'll need to take a bus to get into the city center. There's a bus stop right outside the hotel, conveniently named after the hotel itself. Make sure you get off at that stop; getting off even one or two stops earlier will mean a steep climb. It's not far from the summit of Mount Inasa, and there's a direct bus. If you miss the bus after enjoying the night view, a taxi back to the hotel is only about a 5-minute ride and reasonably priced. The hotel's own free rooftop observation deck is absolutely amazing, and enjoying a drink and the night view in the lounge is also very pleasant. There's a shuttle bus service from the hotel to Nagasaki Station. There's also a hot spring (onsen).

I really didn't expect anything from staying at this hotel, as it was twice as cheap as anything in the area. But it's really a hidden gem! The location is perfect for exploring Nagasaki, in the heart of Chinatown, lots of eateries in the area, and a tram stop nearby. The entrance is between two buildings and not obvious at first glance, but Google maps will get you there. The hotel has a retro vibe and doesn't look like a traditional business hotel, but does it need to? Big comfy beds, huge rooms (a lot more spacious than you expect to find in Japan), all the amenities you need inside. The description didn't mention a fridge, but we had one in our room. No view, but it didn't bother us. Good breakfast for a reasonable price. The only downside is that they don't have a coin laundry in the hotel, but there are some in the area. In my opinion, it's more than value for money!

This hotel is cost-effective and the location is okay. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the station. It is uphill to walk to the hotel. It is a bit tiring to push the big box. It is hygienic. Although it is a small hotel, it is very hygienic. The breakfast is okay and you can eat enough. , the waiter is very serious and the service is good. Worth recommending
