THE GLOBAL VIEW NAGASAKI

This is definitely one of the best hotel in Nagasaki and quite affordable. I was very perplexed how cheap this hotel was, given that it has a huge room, public bath, sauna and amazing breakfast. This said, there are some issues I had. First is that the hotel’s location requires a bit of a walk from the station, which is not bad except you may need to go to the station more frequently because there are only a few good restaurant around the hotel. The public bath was a bit dirty because so many people were using it. There were definitely things floating in the water. Except for these issues other things were good.

17min walk from Hakata JR train station. Facing the very tranquil Naka river. Entry to building and room is by following email instructions and QR code and is easy. Room clean, everything in its place. Beds & pillows comfortable and clean. Everything works- including ironing board with iron, hairdryer, all kitchen amenities and tv (local channels). We awoke to blue skies and the peacefulness overlooking river is beautiful to experience. Absolute silence as there are no roads nor crowds. A very pleasant stay. PS: only one issue - during the night, there was a periodic doorbell ‘ding-dong’ which unfortunately woke me up 3 times. It wasn’t our room, I even went out door but could not identify origin. I am a light sleeper, but the rest of the family slept thru it.

Room is pretty large

excellent hotel. The service was outstanding. And the place is very nice and clean. Also they have an onsen in the hotel which really makes the hotel worthwhile to stay. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful too.

Very nice hotel. The room was big compared to typical budget Japanese hotel rooms! There is a family mart connected to the hotel so very convenient. Hotel is a little old but was a nice stay

Hotel location is good, walking distance to shopping mall and restaurants. Rooms are huge and bed was comfortable. They have a huge public onsen which was a plus for hotel guests. Hotel staff was polite and helpful. Easy to locate the hotel.

A very comfortable hotel located just about 400 metres from Nagasaki Station, with a tram stop, bus stop, and a convenience store right at the doorstep. Getting around is incredibly easy, as it sits right in the heart of everything. Glover Garden, the Atomic Bomb Museum, Peace Park, and Chinatown are all just a few tram stops away. You can even walk to Mt. Inasayama in around 10 minutes, which makes visiting for the famous night view especially convenient. The room was clean and cozy. The public bath was spacious, with multiple tubs to choose from. There are also laundry and dryer machines available (three of each), though you may need to time your usage a bit. The breakfast was excellent, especially for those who enjoy Japanese-style options. It included a rotating selection of Nagasaki specialties such as champon, Goto udon, and sara udon. There were also breads, salads, and made-to-order egg dishes. However, it might feel a bit pricey if you do not prefer Japanese-style breakfasts, as they make up around 60% of the selection.
