The building was old, but the room was well-cleaned and the tatami mats were beautiful. Dinner was served in a private room, so we were able to enjoy it at our leisure and it was delicious. The view of Matsushima from our room was also beautiful.

I'd compare it to Ichinobo in Sakunami Onsen, but Sakunami Onsen had a warmer, more welcoming atmosphere, and I especially liked the food.
