"The large public bath was spacious and the jet bath was very comfortable. It was within walking distance of JR Rifu Station, which was very convenient and reasonably priced. Although it's located along the national highway, there wasn't much traffic, so I was able to sleep soundly at night. The mackerel miso served at the breakfast buffet was excellent. The sunrise from the 9th floor was also spectacular."

"The hotel is conveniently located at the heart of Matshushima Shoreline. It’s very close to the Fukuurabashi Bridge. All the major attractions in Matshushima Shoreline are within walking distance. Rooms are spacious and clean. Meals were good. You can order as many grilled ox tongue and shrimp tempura as you like in addition to what were already included in the dinner set. Staff are nice and helpful. "

"The ryokan location is excellent. My room has a huge picture window facing east. I can see the famous bay with its many islands, including the Fukuura island (福浦𡷊), in the morning with wonderful sun rise view. The Japanese breakfasts were excellent especially the one on our second day… fresh grilled fish, etc.. The Kaiseki dinners for both nights were wonderful with fresh grilled fish and high grade wagyu beef plus oyster cooked to perfection. The Onsens on the other hand are just Okay. However with the view of Fukuura island and its red bridge … nice."

"We thought we'd stop by a hot spring on our way back from visiting our children (Ofunato City), so we stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights, and were very grateful for our hospitality. The food was delicious and we were very impressed.
The tatami mats were nice and clean, but if they could have done a little more to fix the cracks in the bathroom,
I think the service would have been more comprehensive.
It's close to the station and tourist attractions, so we usually use the car,
but we didn't feel inconvenienced by the train.
Although we had a great time,
as hot spring lovers, we were really disappointed that there was no open-air bath.
While sightseeing, we were worried about other hotels, wondering if this hotel had an open-air bath.
I'm sorry.
The quality of the food and hot springs was impeccable, so if they could have posted online that the open-air bath was unavailable but offered these services,
we would have enjoyed it even more.
Thank you for your hospitality.
We'd definitely like to visit again once the open-air bath is fixed!"

"I finally got to stay at the inn I'd been longing for, and after choosing the hot spring in my room, I was able to enjoy the hot spring to my heart's content! I'd compare it to Ichinobo in Sakunami Onsen, but Sakunami Onsen had a warmer, more welcoming atmosphere, and I especially liked the food. The food in Matsushima was very stylish and tasty, but the queues were sometimes long, so I wish there were some dishes that you could serve yourself. Also, the dessert selection was too limited, and although there were a wide variety of drinks, once you ate, you wouldn't drink as much. Of course, this is subject to personal preference.
The view was amazing."

NuonuokafeiMatsutake takes about 40 minutes from Sendai Station to Songdo Coast Station by Senshi Line. There is a taxi at this station. It takes about 15 minutes to get to 2250 yen by taxi. The hotel does not have a free pick-up and drop-off station service. After arriving, you can enjoy warm and thoughtful service. The name is posted on the slippers so that the hot springs will not be worn wrong, and the menu will also be marked with a name at night, and the details will be full. The room view has nothing to say, the room faces Songdao Bay, the scenery is beautiful, but unfortunately I have been raining for the past two days, and then I will come back. The scenery of Songdao is three scenes in Japan. I personally think that it is more than the overpass. The other Miyajima has not been there. The whole of Matsutake is carefully built, and there is no one is not exquisite. The room is large and the facilities are high-end. The bathroom in the room has a teak barrel for hot springs. The bathrobe and bath cover are very elegant and beautiful. The staff is very patient. Every sentence that the process should be introduced is translated to me with a mobile phone. It is not simplified because it is a foreign tourist. The main reception I received was a warm girl, she was really attentive, afternoon bar playing Yo-Yo Ma music, there was free tea coffee alcohol drinks provided. I was able to spend a very comfortable day.
The purpose was to watch professional baseball in Sendai, but since I came to Sendai by car, it was relatively close to the stadium, so I couldn't stop at all.
Close to tourist spots, hot springs and breakfast were also a great inn over the price.

Nice traditional Japanese hotel. The room was conveniently located on the first floor.
The only things to keep in mind there as a foreigner (very broken English at best). Using a translation device or app in your phone is essential for communication. The room we stayed did not have a private shower. If a shower is needed it will be in a communal shower area. The room does have a toilet and sink though.
