Great location for the city centre and the parks. Perfectly clean and comfortable with great communication from the owners. Secure parking was also great. Would stay again!

Really nice hotel but a party was held downstairs that went on until 2am then spilled outside until 4am. Very poor sleep as a result and no response from hotel when contacted regarding. The hotel is part of the AFC Fylde football club who had just been promoted the day of my stay and were celebrating. Understandable BUT the hotel should have been closed to regular guests under the circumstances and the lack of response to the issue is exceptionally poor. Cannot recommend as a result.

It was ideal for our needs as we were looking for a conference venue for June 2027. We will put our choice to the committee when we meet next month. Easy for all motorways around Preston, quiet, comfortable rooms, ample meeting rooms and good value for money. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast choices were very good.

The room facilities are very complete, with a refrigerator, ironing board, tableware, induction cooker, pots, etc. There are many snacks and coffee that you can make yourself. There is room service every day. At the end of the check-out, you just need to return the key to the key box. There are many places to eat nearby. There is a very good hamburger restaurant very close by.

I can and do recommend this hotel. I stayed at the hotel for 17 nights. My room was on the ground floor and was very comfortable, there is not one thing that I can complain about. I got to know the staff, who were absolutely magnificent. They could have done nothing more to make me feel very welcome and at home. From the reception, bar, dining room, kitchen and housekeeping staff, they made me feel like I came home every evening when I got back to the hotel. They went out of their way for me. Thank you to Varun, Aniken, Jake, Vix and the rest of the staff. I can’t recommend Garner Samlesbury Hotel enough!!!

Unbelievably good experience. Amazingly good value for money. Really great, friendly service, beautifully clean premises and room, gorgeous smelling linen, really comfy bed… best nights sleep I’ve had in a hotel. And riverside views. Would highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again. Great location - only a 10 min walk into the heart of the city centre, also on the doorstep of beautiful walks along the river Ribble through Miller Park and Avenham Park.

There is work ongoing which means there is no restaurant. It is very loud expecially with the work starting at 8am. The staff are really lovely. Although the heating did not work in my room, they were able to offer me a new room.

The hotel was clean Reception took a while to come to book us in and the supervisor was polite but not friendly The car parking is poor due to posts making it hard to park easily I damaged my car

The room and bathroom were clean, the mug and kettle, coffee-tea-sugar and milk were prepared in a tray, even the room had a fan and heater which I didn't use , because weather was good but it was really good I saw them in the closet, I asked for iron and hair dryer, reception was a super nice gentleman who explained to me everything I needed. I stayed for one night, but I recommend strongly, better than Airbnb, no Airbnb with same or higher price accepted my request because I just wanted a night and all of them said you should at least book for 3nights! The other reason is I had my own shower and toilet. there is no need to share it with others,and lock the door. The doors had electronic locks, though, really safe and close to different bus stations. Thank you!
