After scouring Trip.com, I found this hotel with incredible value for money! I stayed here for all five nights in Qufu, and it was so comfortable I didn't want to leave. I had checked out a few other places before deciding on this one. The accommodations are fantastic. There's a beautiful, well-lit courtyard in the center, and sunlight streams into the bedroom as soon as you open the door. The bedding was very clean, and I especially appreciated the excellent drinking water setup. The room has a direct-drinking dispenser that provides boiling water in three seconds, so no worries about kettle hygiene. The soundproofing in the bedroom is great, and even the curtains are double-layered, which is super friendly for those sensitive to light. I also highly recommend booking a room with a small balcony! It doesn't cost much more, and the room is huge, the bed is super big, and it even has a projector! For the same price, staying here is simply amazing! When you don't feel like going out, you can head to the bar and lounge area downstairs. They have billiards, karaoke, board games, and you can grab a drink – they have it all. According to the owner, the hostel has been operating for many years, and he even showed me a thick guestbook. If you're interested, you can flip through it and leave your own message. On the first day of my check-in, a kind front desk lady assisted me, and the owner helped me with my luggage. The overall stay was superb, and the hotel staff are very friendly. You can tell the owner if you need anything. If I get a chance to visit Qufu again, I'll definitely stay here! Regarding the location: Yan Temple is right across the street, making it one of the three closest hotels. To get to the snack street or Confucius Temple, you just need to scan a shared bike at the entrance, and you're there!

This hotel is arguably the closest to the Confucius Temple. It's just a two or three-minute walk to the Wall of Ten Thousand Ren (Wanren Gongqiang). I managed to catch the closing ceremony in the evening, followed by the light show at night, and then the opening ceremony the next morning. The courtyard environment is beautiful, with little rabbits and cats, and lots of flowers and plants. The room itself was very spacious. I booked a twin room but actually got a two-story loft, with traditional large wooden doors – it was a really unique experience. The service was warm and attentive. They offered snacks and a gift upon check-in, and brought yogurt in the evening. Breakfast was generous with a good variety. I also had lunch here; both the Qilin Yushu and the stir-fried pork were delicious. They even gave me a ruler as a souvenir when I checked out, which I carried all the way home!

Good location & near to Temple of Confucius. Friendly owner extended warm hospitality during our stay. eventually we did extend 1 more night & continued exploring the beauty of Qufu. Rooms are clean & neat. Prefect housekeeping. Due to my mobility restrictions, owner offered free upgrade to Ground floor room. (Walk-up) Looking forward for returning here ya

First of all, for a county town and a hotel of this quality and this price, it is really cost-effective. First of all, I would definitely recommend staying here if you come to Qufu to see the Sankong, because it is right inside the scenic spot, but the Sankong Scenic Area To be honest, the ticket price is not worth it. Maybe I can't see anything, but there is really nothing to see. I think a few trees are a little older, but we still have to be in awe of the sage Confucius, and there are scenic spots. I recommend buying the gadgets next to it. The electric rickshaw that costs 10 yuan for two people can still be used. The horse-drawn carriage has a bad smell and there are too many people. But the aunties like it better. The key is that the pony looks good. It’s hard work. The horse’s hooves are clattering and it feels like a horse-drawn carriage. It also adds a little bit of income to them. There are many students studying abroad. I recommend eating. I don’t know if this counts as advertising. I don’t know if you can chat with me privately. Back to the hotel, there are windows, but outside the windows are narrow and dirty courtyard walls. You can imagine that no wonder the curtains are drawn. I also specifically chose a window not close to the corridor, but I didn’t expect this. The hotel breakfast is very good, there are The pancakes that are a specialty of Qufu, but I can’t chew them. The noodles that are a specialty of Starway are still very delicious. The hotel has a self-service snack cabinet, which is still necessary for a county without nightlife. The room has a bit of a tidal smell. I’m in On the first floor, there is always a buzzing sound from the motor at night. The bed and pillows are quite comfortable. Anyway, I am on a business trip and it is a Huazhu Club. It is quite reliable. The attitude of the front desk is very good. The price is really good. Anyway, it comes with a lot of money. After we checked in, she proactively recommended itineraries, local eateries, and transportation options based on our plans. She was also incredibly responsive to all our questions. The hotel also provided complimentary fresh fruit, special Dragon Boat Festival gifts, and even thoughtful late-night snacks. The service far exceeded that of hotels in the same category, making for an excellent experience. 2. **Location** The hotel is located in the heart of Qufu, right next to Ginza Mall, offering easy access to dining and shopping. It's only 1.3 kilometers from the Three Confucius Sites, just a few minutes by taxi, making it very convenient for sightseeing. 3. **Hotel Environment** The overall decor follows a Confucian cultural theme, providing a tranquil escape from the bustling city. The rooms are quiet and tidy, and the garden-style environment is serene and comfortable, ensuring a high quality of rest. 4. **Facilities** The hotel's facilities are well-maintained, and the guest rooms are fully equipped with thoughtful details, maximizing comfort. **Summary** Considering its prime location, excellent facilities, and warm service, this hotel offers great value for money. I highly recommend choosing it for your visit to Qufu.

The hotel was great. Very comfortable and modern. It was warm and clean. The music that plays when you take a shower is really nice. We didn’t have a window in our room but it wasn’t a problem. The room had a good air filter and it didn’t smell musty or smoking at all. The location was good in that it was close to the Confucius Temple and our stay included free tickets to see the 3 Confucious sites. 

The bathroom was tiny, and the toilet looked quite old. The sink wasn't particularly clean either. Mobile reception in the room was poor, and the hotel's Wi-Fi signal was weak; it was okay for watching videos but not recommended for gaming. The room wasn't very spacious, with two beds and a narrow aisle. Parking was available right in front of the hotel with free spots. The hotel is very close to the Confucius Temple, just a two-minute walk. The only upside was the very friendly owners; they answered all our questions, and the elderly couple was very welcoming. It was alright for a two-night stay while taking the kids to school, especially considering the much lower price. Can't expect too much for what we paid, this is an honest review.

We specially chose to stay in Chufu to pay our respects to the Great Confucius. It was a must-visit to see his temple, mansion house, and tomb. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the temple and mansion house. There are also plenty of super markets and cafes. Getting to the hotel was a breeze — a direct bus from the rail station took us there, and the fare was just a 1 yuan! The room had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and made our stay pleasant. If you’re planning a visit, this is definitely a spot worth considering for a deeper dive into Confucian culture!

Great Location Close to everything. Rooms are ok even with heatable matrasses. This ist not a Cat Hostel, but a Hostel for Cats. Facilties are worn out and it is not clean. Do I recommend it? If you are on Budget, have no alergy against cats and can stand the smell of cat pee, then it is Ok for a day or two, cause it is really cheap.
