I rarely leave reviews, but this guesthouse is truly one of the best I've ever stayed at. It's located right in the middle of the ancient town, making it convenient to go anywhere, yet it's not noisy. The environment is also quite beautiful, and the courtyard is kept very clean. The owner is an exceptionally good driver. She navigated the narrow alleys of the ancient town with ease, while we were all on edge. She was also very welcoming; every day when we returned from our activities, she would invite us to sit down for tea and offer us food, treating us like family. The housekeeper was also exceptionally kind and attentive. She immediately took care of anything we needed, preparing breakfast for us in the morning and helping us with our luggage. She truly put her heart into serving her guests. The breakfast was absolutely superb, with a different menu every day, a well-balanced mix of meat and vegetables, ensuring we were both full and satisfied. The rice noodles were unforgettable, and the rice noodle soup was delicious too. In the evenings, after a tiring day of sightseeing, she would even prepare hot spring water for us to soak in, which was incredibly relaxing. Honestly, staying here didn't feel like staying in a hotel; it felt more like visiting a friend's house. The owner recommended some restaurants and attractions, and we tried them all – they were really good, no rip-offs. We even borrowed the owner's lobby to order takeout, which was a really nice experience. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the ancient town. The environment is clean and hygienic, not to mention, the location is also very convenient, tens of meters in front is the century-old vegetable market, and it is very convenient to play the middle line, east line, west line. Living here is like living in my own home. The proprietress is attentive and gentle. She prepares breakfast for us every morning. Because one day the trip is to go to Gaoligong Mountain for a hike, she deliberately went to the town in the morning to buy rain shoes for us. She has always asked us to eat local specialty thin bean powder. And ask us what we like to eat for breakfast. The picture is the fruit prepared for us. We all like to eat that green mango, so we have been giving it to us. In short, if I still come to Heshun Ancient Town, I will still choose this one.

The owner was very kind; after we sent him our location, he proactively picked us up and even helped us with our luggage to our room. The house was uniquely designed; every floor we went up revealed a different and delightful design, which we especially loved. Our family also said it was warm and comfortable. 👍👍 It had everything: a laundry room, exercise equipment, a terrace with a barbecue and swing... a piano, a guitar, and a breakfast selection that combined Western and Chinese elements, including coffee, bread, butter, oatmeal, porridge, rice noodles, oranges, corn, and plenty of fruit. When we got tired of walking around, we could easily sit in the shop's coffee shop – very comfortable! 👍

Behind the official hotel, there is a very quiet homestay area, and takeaways can be delivered. Environment: clean, warm, emotional, willing to work hard in the details, sincerity is the boss's hospitality, every time I meet, I will greet you warmly ～ Facilities: The twin room has a large space, the bedding is super comfortable, the pillows kill most hotels in seconds, the central air-conditioning ＋ wall-mounted air-conditioning, and the toiletries are dreamed back to college time in one second. Weight scales, sewing boxes, nail clippers, floss, masks, earplugs, etc. are available! There are two washing machines and one dryer in the common area, which can be used by self-service. Service: Drinking water, soda, snacks, fruit are all provided free of charge. Breakfast is served in the small restaurant with sour seeds and sugar. There are freshly cooked bait silk and rice noodles. The coffee is delicious! Please ask the boss to arrange a car drop-off in advance, and received a warm souvenir on the day of departure.～ Because the itinerary is tight, we basically leave early and return late, and we have not been able to experience the slow life of the homestay, but it does not affect my determination to strongly recommend Fengli!

I originally came to see the ginkgo trees in autumn, but I couldn't see a single yellow leaf >_< ::: Luckily, I stayed at a warm and welcoming inn. Not only was the environment comfortable and the facilities complete, but there was also a hot spring to soak in. I could have checked in without bringing anything ^o^ The innkeeper would also regularly invite me to drink tea brewed over a charcoal stove and eat freshly baked tofu/fried dough sticks in the courtyard... And there were guests from all over chatting together. Even without seeing the yellow leaves, I felt fulfilled. Living a slow-paced life in the ancient city, meeting new friends, and experiencing the warmth and humanity of everyday life.

It’s tucked away in the mountains, surrounded by greenery and open fields, so it feels peaceful and secluded without being too far from the main attractions. Waking up to misty mountain views every morning was such a treat. The biggest reason I booked this place was the private hot spring, and it did not disappoint. The hot spring water comes directly from Rehai and is available 24/7. Having a private soaking pool in the courtyard was amazing—completely private, quiet, and perfect after a long day of exploring. After visiting Rehai and the surrounding attractions, soaking in the warm mineral water felt incredibly relaxing. My muscles felt less sore, and I slept so well afterward. The room itself was spotless and very comfortable. The bed was soft, the bathroom was modern and well-maintained, and even the toiletries felt high quality. Everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared. What really stood out was the service. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with fresh local fruit, and they took the time to explain how to use the hot spring and recommend places to visit nearby. They were always quick to help whenever we had questions. Breakfast here was delicious, with local Tengchong specialties like freshly cooked rice noodles and eggs. There’s also a nice spot to grab coffee and relax around the property. Whether you’re visiting as a couple, with family, or bringing your parents for a relaxing wellness getaway, I would definitely recommend this place. If I ever return to Tengchong, I’d stay here again without hesitation.
