This hot spring hotel, nestled halfway up the mountainside in Tengchong, boasts an unparalleled location with sweeping city views. From the misty, ink-wash painting-like scenery greeting you through the floor-to-ceiling windows each morning, to the vibrant orange and blue oil painting at sunset, the beauty is truly captivating and perfect for photos. The owners are incredibly warm and attentive. From pre-arrival communication and reception to meticulously looking after every detail during our stay, their dedication shines through. You can truly feel their passion for life. The room's layout is well-designed, but the private hot spring pool deserves the highest praise. It was diligently cleaned every day, with even the tile grout spotless. Each evening, the hot spring water was crystal clear with a faint, pleasant scent of bezoar. They even thoughtfully brought drinks and fruit to our room as soon as the water started filling. Our child enjoyed yogurt every night for three days, and impressively, no two flavors were the same – such a heartwarming touch. Breakfast was also incredibly satisfying, offering a variety of local dishes like Ersi and rice noodles, alongside side dishes, fruits, and pastries, with hardly any repetition. Our child's recurring phrase each day was, 'Next time, we're staying at this hotel again.' Overall, the experience was absolutely perfect. Thank you to the owners for their attentive and thoughtful care.

The luckiest part of this trip to Heshun Ancient Town was to choose ”fall white”. As its name suggests, the homestay gives people a clean and safe comfort. What surprised me most was the room, which completely exceeded my expectations for the ancient town homestay. Later, chatting with the boss to know that this house was designed and built by him personally, no wonder he can feel the intention and ingenuity everywhere, not the same standard decoration, but full of temperature and temperament space. The first floor of the homestay is the coffee shop run by the boss himself. Every morning, you don't have to go out, you can smell the coffee smelling downstairs. Sitting by the window, drinking a cup of hand rushing, watching the bluestone road and pedestrians in the ancient town, that cozy is the most precious moment of the journey. Speaking of the boss, he is a very talkative and interesting person. I can feel that he is a person who really loves to travel and pursues a free soul. Chat with him, you can hear a lot of anecdotes on his journey, he will also enthusiastically recommend many treasure corners and authentic snacks that can't be found on the map of the ancient town, so that our journey avoids the crowds and harvests more unique experiences. The sense of relaxation and love for life in him also deeply infected us. If you are also tired of commercial hotels, want to find a place with a story, a temperature, and slow down to feel the life of the ancient town, then ”falling white” is definitely the best choice. This is not a place to sleep, but more like a distant home.

The room was spacious, and the duvet was incredibly comfortable. All the facilities were excellent. The hotel is located on a hilltop, offering a wonderful and quiet environment. The large terrace, in particular, was fantastic for catching both sunrise and sunset views, which were perfect for photos. The owners were very warm and thoughtful. They even picked me up from the Heshang Dagunguo and personally dropped me off at the airport, for which I'm very grateful. The coffee made by the young man at the hotel was delicious, and he even hand-drew a sightseeing map for me. It was a very pleasant stay and definitely worth recommending!

This trip was with my sister and niece! The guesthouse was conveniently located near the scenic area entrance, making it easy to get in and out! Because it was at the end of a small alley, the environment was quiet, conducive to rest! The host personally picked up and dropped off our luggage at the scenic area entrance! Breakfast was healthy and delicious every day! We ordered the rice noodles in soup every day! They were very responsive to guests' requests! Finally, I'd like to suggest they be a little more proactive in their service!

This hotel was the best one I stayed at during my 10-day trip to Yunnan. From the moment I arrived, I felt truly at home. When I checked in at the front desk, the staff immediately offered me hot flower tea. They thoughtfully informed me about the rooftop hot spring's opening hours and enthusiastically recommended local delicacies. They even brought the afternoon tea, which we had missed, to our room, really showcasing the excellent service in Tengchong. After checking in, we went to the restaurant recommended by the front desk and then enjoyed the rooftop hot spring. The hot spring water was incredibly comfortable – my body doesn't lie! That night, I slept soundly and deeply, and my skin felt so smooth and improved. In the evening, the front desk sent up two bowls of tremella soup. Another heartwarming gesture! On the day of checkout, the front desk staff kindly asked if we had breakfast and even gave us a souvenir when we left. If my itinerary hadn't been pre-arranged, I would have definitely stayed an extra day in Tengchong just for this hotel.

We had just spent 3 nights at this B&B and loved our stay there very much. The manager on duty, Mr Wang, picked us up from the airport. Helped us settle in. We then wandered around the ancient town, which was a very nice place to explore as well. He assisted us with booking an onsen session at another resort in the area (20-minute walk). Also helped us with booking rental car, making travel plans, booking ride to Baoshan Railway Station. He and his crew were friendly, genuinely kind, attentive, always offering to assist. Room was super comfortable. Design was simple but very nice. He designed the decor himself. Given the chance, I would love to come back and stay again (longer, hopefully).

We stayed for four consecutive nights. Reasons to recommend Huajian Meisu: 1. The brand-new bath towels were clean and fluffy. Bathrobes were provided, which we used when going to the hot springs. The shower water pressure was sufficient. 2. There was underfloor heating on the first floor and central air conditioning heating on the second floor. Tengchong has a large temperature difference, so the heating made for a good night's sleep and a comfortable stay. 3. The breakfast was reasonably good, and you could adjust it to your liking. Coffee was available. 4. There was a washing machine and dryer, and the dryer's usage time was clearly marked. 5. The hotel is relatively new and has public areas (the lobby on the first floor and the terrace on the third floor). The third-floor terrace had a nice view. 6. Thank you to the owner for providing airport pick-up service and helping me arrange a twin room for the first night (because I couldn't book twin rooms for four consecutive nights, I booked one night in a double room and three nights in twin rooms). (Disadvantage: The price is a bit high)

I usually don’t write reviews, but this place was honestly one of the highlights of my trip to Tengchong. The location is absolutely beautiful. It’s tucked away in the mountains, surrounded by greenery and open fields, so it feels peaceful and secluded without being too far from the main attractions. Waking up to misty mountain views every morning was such a treat. The biggest reason I booked this place was the private hot spring, and it did not disappoint. The hot spring water comes directly from Rehai and is available 24/7. Having a private soaking pool in the courtyard was amazing—completely private, quiet, and perfect after a long day of exploring. After visiting Rehai and the surrounding attractions, soaking in the warm mineral water felt incredibly relaxing. My muscles felt less sore, and I slept so well afterward. The room itself was spotless and very comfortable. The bed was soft, the bathroom was modern and well-maintained, and even the toiletries felt high quality. Everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared. What really stood out was the service. The staff were genuinely friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with fresh local fruit, and they took the time to explain how to use the hot spring and recommend places to visit nearby. They were always quick to help whenever we had questions. Breakfast here was delicious, with local Tengchong specialties like freshly cooked rice noodles and eggs. There’s also a nice spot to grab coffee and relax around the property. Whether you’re visiting as a couple, with family, or bringing your parents for a relaxing wellness getaway, I would definitely recommend this place. If I ever return to Tengchong, I’d stay here again without hesitation.

We are a group of 12 Malaysian who spent 5 days 4 Nights at Tengchong. The lady boss - 素素 is very nice and friendly. The hotel provided airport transfer and was picked up by the lady boss personally. Rooms are big and with all amenities. Location of the hotel is also quite convenient. Nearby a lot of local restaurants. Right opposite the hotel is the bus station where we could book or charter bus to travel back to KunMing. Front desk staffs were very friendly and helpfully. Breakfast is delicious. The hotel could arrange for our local tour to TengChong and 芒市 tour at a very reasonable package tour.

I originally booked a different courtyard, but the owner upgraded me to a Lotus Pond King Room. The view was great; it would definitely be even more beautiful during lotus blooming season. There's a stylish coffee shop downstairs. Transportation is relatively convenient compared to other guesthouses in the ancient town, located on the west side, accessible by car, though a bit far from the center. The wooden structure of the house isn't very soundproof; there's a small road downstairs where cars pass by, making it a little noisy. The service was excellent; they even picked me up from the visitor center. Coming back in the evening, I enjoyed warming myself by the fireplace downstairs with some black tea – very pleasant. The breakfast was also good. Highly recommended!
