When I arrived at this hotel early in the morning, I actually felt puzzled, wondering if all the surrounding shops and other hotels were closed. It seemed that not only was it not the peak tourist season, but the economic situation might also be unfavorable, which likely explained it.
Since I arrived at the hotel too early, no rooms were ready yet. So, I left my luggage with the hotel first and set out for a tour of the western course of Mount Baekdu.
When I returned, my luggage had already been placed in the room assigned to me.
The condition of the room was impeccably clean. When I woke up in the morning and opened the curtains, the bright sunlight streaming into the room made me feel incredibly refreshed.
I went down to the lobby for breakfast, and the hotel owner personally set the table. The food was exceptionally neat and delicious.
Moreover, the owner spoke better English than anyone else at other hotels, which was a great help.
It was a clean, cozy, and comfortable hotel to stay in.
The only drawback was the lack of an elevator, but carrying luggage up one floor shouldn’t be a problem for most people. And considering that the hotel is right across from the western tourism center of Mount Baekdu, its location more than makes up for the inconvenience of not having an elevator.

Impression: The hotel is so cute and really kids oriented. Its newly built and opened, hence not all taxi driver knew about the location. In Trip.com - English, the name is Sunggari Club Hotel. But if you want to ask taxi driver or bus, you should mention Sungouli instead and search in Amap using chinese name given in Trip.com.
Location: West slope of Changbaishan. If the weather permitted, you can see the peak of Changbaishan from far away but very nice view. It was more happening at night around Swissotel area and more shops and restaurant around that area.
Hotspring located in Clubmed building not far ifrom Swissotel and Burger King. The shuttle bus will only drop and pickup at Swissotel and not Clubmed, so you have to walk back to Swissotel once you finished with the hotspring.
Pros:
1. Kids friendly - decorations, play area, room. All so cute and pretty.
2. The room package inclusive of the entrance vouchers and activities - skiing, deer place, hot spring, special event, breakfast. So it is really worth the money.
3. All the staffs are so friendly and helpful - even tried their best to communicate with us in English.
4. There is laundry room with washing machine and dryer and the detergents to wash and dry your clothes.
Cons:
1. The hotel supposed to be kids friendly, but smoking is allowed inside the hotel. We've requested non-smoking room and we've got it. but the problem is, it is not non-smoking floor. Shockingly, there is smoking area in the hallway of the rooms besides the elevator in every level. So the smell will travel to the entire hallway and into the room. Since it was winter and heavy snow, we can't really open the window to let the smell get off. It was so suffocating. Really frustrated in regards of this as I strongly suggest for the hotel to consider implement a strict rules not allowed smoking in the premise and have a dedicated smoking area far from the room and eating place to promote safe place for the kids.
2. Even the hotel considered new, the toilet bowl still old-school, not automated as most of the new airbnb/homestay that we went. So for Malaysian, no bidet is the big concern 😅.

Guest UserFacilities: The hotel offers a wide range of facilities including a swimming pool, gym, lobby bar, and laundry machines (washer and dryer). For children, there's a kids' club, swings, and even a kids' independent camp.
Cleanliness: The cleanliness was excellent. The floors were spotless, and garbage was collected daily.
Environment: There's a large lawn. Right outside the hotel, there are plenty of beautiful flowers and plants perfect for photos. The hotel grounds are also very spacious.
Service: The service was fantastic; they were always eager to help with any request. Drinks were delivered daily, and they even assisted with travel planning.
The hotel also offers afternoon tea. Breakfast is very extensive and can be enjoyed at two different locations. Staying at the hotel includes access to many entertainment facilities, all of which are available for guests to enjoy. On the lawn, there's a cable car, grass-sliding, and slide cars. There's also a food town, hot springs, and a water park, all of which are great fun. Highly recommended.

After the Mid-Autumn Festival here, the moon cakes were very sweet, and I saw the fireworks, and the surrounding scenery was beautiful. I brought my parents to live for 3 days and the whole family was very satisfied! In the homestay, quiet in the middle of noisy, there is a small yard at the door, and a small vegetable garden planted by the boss himself. It is very warm and clean. My parents can drink tea and sunbathe there every morning. The boss was very patient and helped us plan a slow tour route that was not in a hurry. The location was simply excellent and it was very close to our attractions. The room is quiet, the layout is warm and distinctive, the furniture in the comfortable room is not sharp corners, the hot water is stable for 24 hours, and the water temperature is also suitable for elders. The hygiene is done carefully, and there is no dust in the depths of the wardrobe. My parents said that it is more comfortable than living at home! No matter the facilities, sanitation, environment, and service are impeccable in all aspects, it is simply the best choice for travel!

Anonymous UserThis was the most satisfying hotel we stayed at during our trip to Changbai Mountain Wanda Resort. The room was spacious, with a separate walk-in closet. The sofa and coffee table were perfect for enjoying some tea and relaxing. There was also a reading sofa by the window, a desk, and a lamp, all well-equipped. The chair was very comfortable, making it ideal for reading and writing.
Front desk staffer Xiao Ying was warm, thoughtful, and professional, answering all our questions. We received a complimentary breakfast, and our two children really enjoyed the buffet. The restaurant opens up to a lawn with lush greenery – very chill.
There were plenty of benefits, but the only downside was that each perk could only be used once per hotel. The next day, we switched to the Hyatt, and it was such a downgrade – the room was small, dimly lit, had no desk lamp, and the service was non-existent.

Check-in was smooth. Before arrival, the front desk staff, Gao Jing, proactively contacted me via WeChat to inform me about the resort's amenities and hotel shuttle services. She also helped me book a mountain view room in advance, according to my preferences. The resort offers various attractions like a water park and cable car rides, along with special events like the firework festival with iron flower performances and fireworks. For trips to West Slope Tianchi Lake, the front desk kindly arranged a pick-up and drop-off driver. The breakfast was rich and varied. I highly recommend staying here.

Guest UserWhen on vacation in Changbai Mountain, I chose the Jinhua Suite. The suite layout is very suitable for families, with a living room and a play area for children. The hotel facilities are complete; although the hotel is a bit old, it's well-maintained. The complimentary activities offered by the resort are also sufficient. Our butler, Haha, clearly explained all the important details beforehand, and he was quick to respond whenever we had questions. Overall, it felt very reassuring to stay here, and it's quite suitable for family trips.

Guest UserHuge thanks to the Swissôtel staff for making our Changbaishan trip end on such a perfect note. The front desk lady was incredibly patient and helped us with all our questions, making our three-day, two-night stay truly relaxing.
My favorite part was the complimentary hot springs access – the environment was wonderful and so comfortable! The glass net bridge over the Songhua River was also impressive, and crossing the river with my husband was an unforgettable experience.
Huamei Shengdi truly lives up to its nickname as the 'Little Switzerland of Northeast China.' On our last day, we got some fantastic photos at the hotel, taking home beautiful memories.
We'll definitely be back!

DidihongThe hotel environment is absolutely beautiful, nestled within the Wanda Resort villas, surrounded by lush greenery. The complimentary pick-up and drop-off service from both the train station and airport is very convenient. The room facilities are complete, and the balcony offers a stunning view of Changbai Mountain. The hotel service is excellent; the restaurant, housekeeping, concierge, and front desk staff are all incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Special shout-out to our duty manager, Joy, who added us on WeChat beforehand, making our check-in process smooth and reassuring. The hotel breakfast is incredibly rich and varied, and the à la carte dining is a nice touch. I'll definitely choose Park Hyatt again for future trips to see Changbai Mountain and Tianchi Lake!

Guest UserStayed for one night in a twin room on the tenth floor. It was very quiet with a nice view. We tried the little yellow duck boat and the clear boat, which were great value for money. Although the cable car was available many times, we only went on it once for the experience. The water bikes had a height restriction so the kids couldn't play. All the other activities were extremely expensive; we tried tree climbing for 158 per person, and the kids finished in less than two minutes. The Wanda Resort area has a nice environment, but breakfast was too crowded. Overall, it was an enjoyable stay.
