Elva.liuMy overall overseas stay experience exceeded expectations. The hotel's location is excellent, making it very convenient for sightseeing and travel. You can walk to several popular attractions, and there are plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making daily shopping and dining hassle-free.
The check-in process was efficient and smooth. The front desk staff were friendly and polite, communicating patiently and meticulously. They were always helpful in answering questions and resolving issues promptly. The room was clean and tidy, spacious, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. The bathroom facilities were well-maintained, with stable hot water and a complete set of toiletries. The room had good natural light and ventilation, basic appliances worked well, and the internet speed was stable, so work, travel, or streaming videos were not affected.
The hotel's public areas were clean and elegantly maintained, the environment was quiet, and the sound insulation was good, so we weren't disturbed by outside noise. The breakfast offered a rich variety, including local specialties and simple meals, and the taste was very good. Housekeeping services were thorough, with detailed daily cleaning.
Overall, the service was professional and attentive, with great attention to detail, and excellent value for money. It's suitable for both leisure travel and short business stays, adding a lot of positivity to this trip abroad. I will prioritize this hotel again if I return to the area, and I highly recommend it to friends visiting here.

Guest UserI booked a single room for one night and a double room for another. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the front desk staff was very friendly. When I told them I'd left my room key inside, they jokingly told me I could sleep at the front desk instead!
The hotel's location is excellent; you can get there directly from the train station by taking the underground passage and then an elevator. Breakfast options were a bit limited, but the quality felt good, and the crepes were nicely made.
The single room was quite small, with just enough space by the window to open a 28-inch suitcase. The double room, however, was much larger and even had a mini-fridge. The downside was that the beds were too soft, which seems to be a common issue in Europe, and the curtains let in a lot of light, which is tough when it gets bright so early in Geneva during summer.
Most importantly, it has air conditioning! Air conditioning! Air conditioning! It was an absolute lifesaver! Seriously, what on earth were those places I stayed in Zurich and Interlaken thinking, having no AC at all?!

モモミThis hotel is conveniently located right in front of the central station. The room was a bit small and there was no conditioner, but otherwise, everything was fine. The breakfast buffet also offered a good variety.

Here’s a longer, more detailed version with warm and genuine vibes:

We had such a wonderful stay at Hotel Sagitta and I honestly feel it deserves more recognition for the value it offers.
First of all, the location is unbeatable. It’s only about a 10-minute walk to the famous waterfalls and the Old Town, which made everything so convenient. We could stroll out in the morning, explore all the beautiful spots, take photos, grab meals, and come back to rest without needing to drive. Being able to park the car and just walk everywhere was such a big plus.
Yes, the hotel has a slightly older, classic style — but everything is clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. What really surprised me (in the best way!) was that our room came with a kitchenette. I did not expect that at all. Having a small kitchen setup made such a difference — we could prepare simple meals, make coffee, and feel a bit more “at home” instead of just staying in a typical hotel room.
There was also a bathtub, which was another pleasant surprise. After a long day of walking around and sightseeing, being able to relax in a hot bath was perfect. Not many budget-friendly hotels provide that!
For the price we paid, this is honestly one of the best deals in such a prime location. It’s affordable, practical, and provides everything you need for a comfortable stay — good space, useful amenities, parking convenience, and walking distance to all the attractions.
If you are looking for a budget-friendly stay with excellent location and great value for money, this hotel is definitely worth considering. We would absolutely stay here again.

This is my third stay at this hotel. Its location is fantastic, being just a 1-2 minute walk from the lake. The No. 15 bus stop is also a short stroll away. It's only two stops from the train station, or a pleasant 10-15 minute walk, which is convenient even with luggage. The UN headquarters are also just two stops away. The hotel provides free public transport passes, making getting around exceptionally easy. You'll find Lidl and Coop supermarkets just one stop away.
The hotel breakfast features delicious homemade bread and croissants. While the selection isn't vast, everything is truly delicious, and you can smell the wonderfully fresh aroma starting as early as 5 AM each morning.
The price was very reasonable for Geneva, and the room also comes with a kitchen, perfect if you prefer to cook your own meals. Overall, I'm extremely satisfied to have found such a great place in a city like Geneva!

AppleTravelSwiss hotels are relatively expensive due to limited space, but this time, because my trip was longer, I booked a slightly larger double room with a view of the Jet d'Eau. From my room, I could see the fountain and the beautiful old buildings in the surrounding square. The room had three windows, which were very bright when open. My room also had a small luggage compartment. The hotel was very clean, and there was bus number 10 nearby that goes directly to and from the airport. However, you need to bring your own basic toiletries as they are not provided. It's a short walk from the city center, but not too far. There's a Burger King nearby, but for something better, you need to go to the train station where there's a Chinese restaurant; the food is decent. The hotel floors are wooden, which felt cleaner than carpet. Considering the high cost of living in Switzerland, this hotel is quite good value and worth recommending.

The hotel located near United Nations, public transportation is free by traveling in GENEVA, the hotel staff will help to register when you check in. The room was clean, but the furniture was a bit old as expected. The breakfast was offered by semi buffet, a variety of food selections, quality of food was nice.

EXCELLENT location if you want to explore Geneva old town and stay near the lake. The rooms are cozy and small but modern.
It's a self check-in hotel. Therefore, I rated the service low even though it was smooth and convenient. I'd definitely choose this hotel again for my next visit to Geneva.

I went a day earlier to confirm my stay with the hotel. They couldn't find my booking. I showed them my confirmation on my phone. I was told that they can see my confirmation number but no payment was made by trip.com. They assured me that such has happened before and told me to be on the safe guard book another room as a standby. They assured me that they will not swipe my card until matter is resolved. That assurance made me check in. I kept coming to the front office every now and then and I was told it was resolved. Only on the last night I was told that by Trip.com of the error in the address. In the meantime the hotel had swiped my card. Surprisingly they did not honour the feedbacks I gave to Hotel Montana Geneve and Hotel Montana Zurich. There was no email to apologise for the oversight and delay in handling. I went to the hotel one day earlier to check, they could have attended to it and not confidently putting the blame on trip.com since there has been previous incidents where [ayment was not received.
I thought Hotel Montana group could have handled this matter better. Quite disappointing.

Guest UserThe hotel was spacious and at a very accessible location with bus/tram stop and train station nearby. There was also a shopping centre right next to the hotel which is very convenient for buying necessities and meals if you choose not to eat at the hotel or travel too far for food
