Had an amazing stay in Geneva! The hotel's location is absolutely perfect. The room was cozy and beautifully decorated, and the bedding was so soft and comfortable that I slept like a baby 😴. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices; the freshly baked bread and squeezed juice were simply delicious 🍞. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and they even helped us discover some great local hidden gems. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Geneva! 🏨✨

DanielStrongThe hotel was super convenient to get to. After landing at the airport, we just walked straight there. Google Maps showed it was a little over 800 meters, but it felt closer to 1 kilometer, maybe a bit more. Luckily, check-in was a breeze – paid the deposit, got the room key. Since I was in town for a trade show, convenience was my top priority. The hotel's shuttle bus service to and from the exhibition center was a lifesaver! In the afternoon, I just had to call the front desk and they'd send the bus to pick me up from the venue, which was incredibly thoughtful. Plus, having a gym was a huge bonus; it was great to squeeze in a run or a workout in my free time.

Location: 15-20 minutes walk from the train station, about 10 minutes walk from the Palais des Nations. The nearby streets are relatively clean, and although it is on the street, it is generally quiet.
Facilities: The hotel as a whole looks old-fashioned, and the room door key is also traditional, and you have to manually lock the door when entering and exiting. The internal facilities of the room should be relatively new and renovated, and the washbasin is a bit small. The windows can be opened for ventilation. There is no kettle in the room, and the mini bar needs to be paid for separately.
Breakfast service: The breakfast is relatively simple, with freshly ground coffee. The staff is also quite enthusiastic.

Guest UserI stayed for 3 nights in June, during an unusually hot spell. The room had air conditioning, and it worked well if you tilted the bathroom door towards the room. Not having a fridge in the room was a bit of a hassle, but I could get free ice from the front desk. The location was super convenient, almost directly connected to Geneva Central Station. My room unfortunately faced the recycling collection point, so the view wasn't great, but it was kept clean so it didn't bother me too much. The breakfast restaurant on the 8th floor seems to only be open for breakfast and offers only a continental spread. I was a little disappointed that there were no vegetables.

Service was an area of major dissatisfaction. I felt uncomfortable and singled out during breakfast when a staff member, notably dressed in a blue-striped shirt, decided it was necessary to lecture me on how to use a spoon and fork at the buffet counter. This intrusive behavior was not only condescending but also culturally insensitive, especially towards the predominantly Asian guest demographic. Her constant supervision over my shoulder was unnecessary and unpleasant. You must pick up and return the serving spoon and fork to the exact same spot; otherwise, she will come over to watch you and place them back herself. Furthermore, the front desk staff lacked warmth and friendliness, their attitude falling disappointingly short of the hospitality one expects from such a highly-rated hotel.

theminimeThe location is pretty convenient and accessible. It was 1 minute walk away from the tram station and 2 stops away from Cornavin Station.
Staffs were friendly and approachable at all times. Even though, I didn’t mention that it will be my birthday, they prepared a small amenity for me on my second day stay. Truly appreciate it!
Hotel and the room is clean. Very pleasing to the eyes.
Room came with universal socket which came in handy since my luggage was delayed and I do not have travel adapter with me.
All in all, I had a really pleasant stay.
Thank you N’vy!

As a business hotel with the bare minimum, bed and shower, and convenience of being close to the airport, it's ok. The breakfast buffet at CHF32 was very good. Geneva is an expensive city per se. This week, I think there were fairs/events in the city crowding the hotels and bringing the prices up. Things to complain about: the shower doesn't have a door, so the bathroom gets all wet. There are no amenities like courtesy slippers, toothbrushes, and toothpaste (Yeah, save the planet...) And the shower mixer gives you 3 choices: cold, hot, and cold-hot-cold-hot... So, showering is a challenge. Think of these ”chain/brand” hotels as that is what you get to make their EPS go up and please their shareholders. There is nothing to do with hospitality.

WoaixizaoyeExtremely satisfied, I always stay here whenever I visit Geneva. The small kitchenette is very convenient for cooking your own meals. They also provide free public transport tickets during your stay, making getting around super easy. The balcony offers a fantastic view directly overlooking Lake Geneva's Jet d'Eau.

I went a day earlier to confirm my stay with the hotel. They couldn't find my booking. I showed them my confirmation on my phone. I was told that they can see my confirmation number but no payment was made by trip.com. They assured me that such has happened before and told me to be on the safe guard book another room as a standby. They assured me that they will not swipe my card until matter is resolved. That assurance made me check in. I kept coming to the front office every now and then and I was told it was resolved. Only on the last night I was told that by Trip.com of the error in the address. In the meantime the hotel had swiped my card. Surprisingly they did not honour the feedbacks I gave to Hotel Montana Geneve and Hotel Montana Zurich. There was no email to apologise for the oversight and delay in handling. I went to the hotel one day earlier to check, they could have attended to it and not confidently putting the blame on trip.com since there has been previous incidents where [ayment was not received.
I thought Hotel Montana group could have handled this matter better. Quite disappointing.
