"## Location Unbeatable location. It's within walking distance of Gwanghwamun, Gyeongbokgung Palace, and Deoksugung Palace. It's also close to City Hall, Myeongdong, Anguk, and Insadong, making it rich in commercial facilities. However, being in the Central Business District (CBD), the surroundings can be bustling with many office workers. ## View The view was also exceptional. However, I expect the quality of the view to vary significantly depending on the room line. In my case, it was a section of the Pagoda Tower that offered a great line of sight, with a panoramic view of the Euljiro building line – Hanhwa Building, Mirae Asset, Shinhan Bank – and the Cheonggyecheon Stream stretching out. While it might not appeal to those who find city views stifling, I personally found it very pleasing. ## Room I received an upgrade to a Jacuzzi Suite, and since the bed was separated from the rest of the space by a door, the bed didn't get damp like it sometimes does at Banyan Tree. The living room with the jacuzzi also didn't feel overly humid. The bedding and other furniture were impeccably clean. I was initially concerned because there was construction going on in the building during my visit, but I barely heard any noise. It seemed like a lot of attention was paid to soundproofing. The late check-out was also reasonably priced at 20,000 KRW, and overall, it was an excellent experience. ## Service Overall, the service was excellent, though I subtly felt that the staff weren't entirely accustomed to handling requests yet. However, this isn't to say there was a lack of professionalism. For some unknown reason, perhaps overbooking, I received a room upgrade without any inconvenience whatsoever. Any difficulties or questions I had during my stay were addressed promptly and smoothly. However, having to use a personal phone for room service or inquiries felt a bit awkward and was a slight downside. ## Overall Review A superb hotel that I would definitely revisit. It has solid fundamentals, reasonable pricing, and is just a minute's walk from Cheonggyecheon Stream, perfect for a stroll anytime. Its location is ideal for accessing major tourist spots anywhere in Seoul, including Myeongdong, City Hall, Gwanghwamun, Anguk, and Namsan. However, I wouldn't recommend it for those looking for a pure 'hotelcation' (a vacation spent entirely at the hotel). It's highly recommended if sightseeing is a major part of your trip."

"The layout here is brilliantly thought out—having the wall-mounted TV positioned right in front of the bed made relaxing after a full day of walking around Sinchon and Hongdae so comfortable. The full-length mirrored wardrobe kept all my clothes and luggage neatly out of the way, making the room feel open and uncluttered. Crisp linens, excellent water pressure in the private shower, and crystal-clear digital access instructions made the whole stay effortless. A fantastic, reliable base for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize clean, private spaces."

"Pros: The hotel is directly connected to an underground shopping area from which you can reach Myeongdong's main street via exit 15. The hotel also has YouTube access. Cons: 1. Housekeeping should really use 'do not disturb' or 'please make up room' signs. It was quite awkward when they knocked and, getting no answer, just let themselves in. I'm not sure if this is a cultural difference. 2. The soundproofing is terrible. If you're a light sleeper and your room faces the street, it will be very noisy. 3. Room cleanliness needs improvement; there were hairs on the bed and an unknown red stain on the pillow."

"1. As the hotel has only recently opened, the visible facilities are generally clean. However, there were a few disappointing issues during my stay. Since the building was not newly constructed but rather a renovation of an existing hotel, signs of aging were noticeable in some facilities. The bed mattress showed signs of sagging and creaking, and in the first room I was assigned, the bathroom plumbing experienced a backflow problem. When the facilities team visited to check the plumbing issue and opened and closed the room door, a part of the ceiling fixture detached and fell off. While the overall exterior and interior are new and clean, the maintenance and inspection of the unseen facilities left something to be desired. 2. In the case of the Privilege rooms, the building in front of the room was excessively close, making it practically impossible to open the curtains. On the other hand, the cheaper Classic rooms, if assigned to a higher floor, had relatively unobstructed views, and it appeared that many of them allowed the curtains to be opened. Although the price difference between the two room types is not significant, personally, I found it difficult to find a compelling reason to choose the more expensive Privilege room. The Privilege room felt only slightly more spacious than the Classic room, and the difference was that the interior color scheme was in shades of blue. Conversely, considering the view and sense of openness, I felt that the Classic room on the upper floor might actually feel like a more pleasant and premium choice. 3. The staff's outward hospitality was generally friendly. However, there were a few shortcomings in the customer service process. Typically, hotels of a similar class inform guests before check-in if there are issues that could affect room usage, such as difficulty opening curtains due to the close proximity of the room to the building in front. Furthermore, if a room is changed due to facility issues on the hotel's part, such as plumbing backflow, it is standard practice to apologize for the inconvenience or verify during checkout whether there were any issues with the subsequent stay. However, the staff member handling my checkout this time appeared to have been completely unaware of the situation regarding the plumbing backflow and the room change I had experienced. Regardless of the individual staff's friendliness, I had some doubts about whether guest issues are being sufficiently shared and managed among the staff. While there were strengths in the exterior of the facilities and the basic friendliness of the staff, considering the actual condition of the rooms, satisfaction with the room types, and the response process after the issue arose, it was a stay that left much to be desired in many ways."

"I was surprised the hotel was right in the middle of the bar district, but the self-check-in process was smooth. Although we had to replenish towels and other amenities ourselves, it wasn't an issue once we got used to it. Despite being in a bustling area, it wasn't noisy late at night, and I slept well. I was mostly out during the day, so this hotel was perfect for spending the night. I'd use it again if I have the chance. One small request: The wire locks for luggage storage were limited, and they were all in use when I tried to use one. It would be helpful to have more available."

"I first stayed one night on the 2nd floor, went to Busan and came back after 3 days for a 3day stay. The hotel looks fairly new/ renovated. The 2nd floor corridor walls looked like they are still being renovated. 2nd stay was on the 5th floor and that was much better. Rooms: But for both floors, the rooms were sparkly clean. 😍Fresh new linen and towels. 😍 Rooms are spacious compared to most in SK. Did I mention everything is still new? Rooms have bar fridges, convenient for storing own drinks. Hotel doesn’t provide breakfast but they offer free noodles, coffees/teas and toast bread in the basement. There’s also laundry room, to use free of charge. Service: the best!!!! I interacted with 3 different people at front desk. All of them were friendly and helpful. They were more than happy to give recommendations on what to do/eat. Location: I’d definitely choose this hotel again for location. It’s a 3min walk to the subway. 25min walk to Myeongdong walking street. There’s a whole lot of shops around this hotel. It’s not a 5star luxury hotel but it was the most comfortable stay I had in SK."

"I stumbled upon this hotel by chance and had a really great experience. The room was spacious and clean, and even though it's near Myeongdong, it's not right on the main street so it was very quiet. The most unexpected surprise was finding an underground passage just a few hundred meters away that leads directly to the Myeongdong shopping area and Lotte Duty Free. This was a lifesaver for shopping on rainy days, avoiding getting wet. Everything else was excellent, except for the nearest subway exit not having an escalator, which was a bit inconvenient with luggage. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time! 👍"

"This was my first time staying here! I was traveling alone, so the room size was very spacious and comfortable. I think the bed might be a bit small for two people. I stayed for 3 nights, and it was great that they refilled the water and made up the bed/cleaned the room during my stay! If you frequently use buses and trains, I wouldn't recommend this hotel as it's a bit of a walk to the station and bus stops. I arrived around 5 PM, but there were no staff members present. I found my name written on a drawer and self-checked in there."

"This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel, and it was incredibly clean with immaculate restrooms. I honestly think it's a much better value and experience than staying in a cheap, cramped regular hotel. The only downsides were that the AC didn't work in my capsule, making it hot, and in the common room, there was one person who, for two days straight, had their belongings spread out everywhere, completely monopolizing a large area and limiting available seating. It was really inconvenient. They should be more considerate of others. Do they not have anywhere else to live?"
