Front Desk: The front desk staff followed standard star-rated hotel procedures. They called me in advance to confirm my arrival time and were very professional during check-in, offering recommendations for local food, entertainment, and attractions. Their knowledge of local customs and culture was impressive. The license plate registration process was seamless. The hotel is a standalone building, which made me feel very secure, and parking was convenient with plenty of charging stations. The lobby is spacious, featuring a bar, coffee shop, and a piano, reflecting Howard Johnson's corporate culture and philosophy. Guest Room: The room was well-equipped and fully smart, keeping up with modern network configurations. It was spacious, bright, and free of any peculiar odors. The attention to detail in terms of cleanliness was outstanding. The high ceilings made the room feel open and not at all cramped, fitting the positioning of a mid-range hotel. Breakfast: The breakfast spread was abundant and catered to popular tastes. The coffee was my favorite. Opening the window reveals the gentle murmur of the Emei River, and the antique Ming and Qing dynasty courtyard houses exude tenderness and poetry in every brick and tile. 🏮 Staying in a Ming and Qing dynasty courtyard house is like stepping into the Jiangnan region in an instant. The moment I entered the guesthouse, I was healed by its tranquility. Blue brick walls, wooden lattice windows, red lanterns, and meticulously maintained greenery in the courtyard—every step is a scene straight out of a painting. Sitting in the courtyard in the afternoon, sunlight filters through the leaves, casting dappled shadows, and the breeze carries the moist scent of the river; even time seems to slow down. The tea room in the guesthouse is also charming. Brewing a pot of tea and gazing at the artificial hill and flowing water in the courtyard is incredibly relaxing. 🛏️ The modern Chinese-style rooms offer unparalleled comfort. I was initially worried about dampness and poor sound insulation in an old building, but all my concerns were unfounded! The room features a blend of natural wood and modern minimalist design, with warm wood tones paired with soft lighting, creating a cozy and sophisticated atmosphere. The bedding is incredibly soft, the entire room is smartly controlled, the toilet has a heated seat, and the bathroom boasts a huge private soaking tub – perfect for a relaxing bath after a long day! "Booked this hotel for a summer trip to see the Leshan Giant Buddha. The underground parking was very convenient, and the complimentary iced drinks and coffee were a nice touch. We booked a triple family room, which was neat and clean. The only downside was that the night market next to the hotel was a bit noisy. Breakfast was good, though it got a bit crowded due to the hotel's popularity. Overall, it's a good value-for-money hotel in Leshan."

"The hotel room was new and quite spacious, but during my two-night stay, despite requesting cleaning on the second day, no cleaning was done at all, and amenities weren't replenished. Interestingly, staff entered the room to leave welcome fruit when I wasn't there, but still, no cleaning, and no replenishment of amenities or water. For this price point, that's really unacceptable. The shower water was cold: The bathtub water temperature was too low to even use. It's a far cry from the Longxing Temple branch. The shower water itself was inconsistent, going hot and cold. Dinner on the second day was noticeably worse than the first, with dishes like yellow catfish completely missing – clearly a downgrade. Overall, I'm quite disappointed with this hotel stay."
