Henn na Hotel Premier Nara ★★★★
"Clean, Modern, and Great Location!"Perfect stay at Henn na Hotel! The automated check-in was smooth, and the staff was very helpful when needed. The room was clean and comfortable, and we loved the high-tech features. Ideal location for exploring, and great value for money. Will definitely be back!""
Onyado Nono Nara Natural Hot Spring ★★★★
"The hot spring was excellent, and we really enjoyed the complimentary ice cream and late-night ramen. The breakfast offered a great variety of delicious options. The only downside was that the room felt a little cramped, but overall we had a very pleasant stay."
Smile Hotel Nara ★★★
"Front desk staff are so nice and friendly. Also English speaking is perfect! Location is great and convenient, many restaurants are near by."
Hotel Nikko Nara ★★★★★
"Highly recommended for its convenient location. The hotel is directly connected to JR Nara Station, making it super easy to arrive by train and explore Nara without long walks. Restaurants, shops, and buses are just outside, and major sights like Nara Park are within walking distance. Staffs are friendly too!"
Iroha Grand Hotel Kintetsu Nara Ekimae ★★★★
"I went to Japan for 6 days and this was the best hotel I had stayed. It was clean, comfy and the bathtub was big too. It was just a stone throw to the attractions. The price for a night was very very cheap."
Novotel Nara ★★★★★
"Overall, my stay was quite good. The hotel has a new and modern exterior design, and facilities like the gym are very clean. The room itself was tidy and clean, the bed was comfortable, and all the amenities were well-equipped. The location is convenient, with shops and restaurants nearby, and getting around was very easy. The staff were friendly, and the check-in process was smooth. It would be even better if the price were more favorable. I would consider staying here again if I have the chance."
Nara Ryokan ★★
"The environment was very cozy; it was wonderful to soak in the hot springs after a long day of walking."
Nara Royal Hotel ★★★★
"It’s a nice and tidy place, enjoy the spring very much, has stay twice this year."
Hotel Tenpyo Naramachi ★★★★
"Although it is a bit of a distance from Nara Station, it is actually close to the deer park, making it a great hotel where you can return to your room to rest whenever you want after watching the deer. The facilities are, of course, tidy, and the hotel service is very friendly. It has a unique layout with a Starbucks inside the hotel, and the night view is truly stunning. During the day, you can go up to the second-floor terrace to relax, and with the Hoenn Pond nearby, it is also a great place to enjoy a leisurely atmosphere. There is a gallery inside the lobby that displays handicrafts, making it fun to browse. It is a truly satisfying hotel, and I would definitely visit again."

JW Marriott Hotel Nara
"My experience at the Nara Hotel during this trip to Nara was excellent, especially the incredibly kind Chinese-speaking staff at the front desk. We only asked for six bottles of water, but they gave us eight. They even provided us with a homemade tourist map. The room was also very spacious, clean, and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance. The only downsides are that it's a bit of a walk from Shin-Omiya Station, and the shuttle bus only runs until around 5 PM. This is less convenient for travelers returning to the hotel at night."
Shisui, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Nara
"Facilities: The hotel facilities are extremely clean. Hygiene: Both the room and the hotel lobby are very clean. Service: The service attitude is excellent, and the hotel receptionist speaks Chinese. Environment: The surrounding environment is particularly good, close to Nara Park."
Nara Hotel
"The service is very good and the environment is beautiful. The hotel has its own courtyard for taking photos, and there are no tourists from tour groups to disturb you. The historical atmosphere is all made of wood. The gate, lobby, front desk, and stairs alone can make a big movie. The room is very large. It is close to the Daibutsuji Temple. You can leave at 7 o'clock in the morning and avoid the crowds at the foot of Higashiyama. Nara Hotel is the most outstanding hotel in this 5-day, 4-night stay."
Nara Kasuga KANOYA
"The moment I stepped into the room, I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious and clean it was. I also requested birthday decorations and a cake, and all my wishes were fulfilled. Thanks to the staff's incredible service, which exceeded my expectations, I had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. A big thank you to the gentleman who helped us so much, including taking photos. Thanks to your cooperation, we had a wonderful trip! Thank you very much."
Nara Park Hotel
"At the pool, there were two staff members (unclear if they were lifeguards or simply receptionists) who spent their time chatting at the top of the stairs and only handled reception duties. We were informed that the shower in our room might not have hot water, but it thankfully did. All four sets of sheets were riddled with holes, and for that reason, I will definitely not be returning. I believe there's a clear distinction between an 'old' ryokan and a 'dirty' one, but this establishment unfortunately fit both descriptions."
Ando Hotel Nara Wakakusayama -Dlight Life & Hotels-
"We had a comfortable stay at the hotel. Staffs are absolutely helpful and considerate, the star appreciation activity and marshmallow roasting are rare but enjoyable experience as well. Will definitely recommend it to my friends."
Hana Naramachi
Hotel New Wakasa
"Service: The service quality of the waiter was very good, as always, meticulous, and photos were sent. Environment: The room we stayed in had a sense of age But we booked the main building, but were arranged to stay in the other building. The main building and the other building are connected, and the breakfast is of the same standard, but in fact there is a price difference, and the facilities in the main building are newer. It is unknown whether the price difference was deliberately booked in the other building, or the agent made a mistake, or the hotel deliberately arranged it. People who choose to stay later need to pay attention to whether they are staying in the main building."
The Deer Park Inn
"It is very close to Nara Park and Mizutani Tea House. The service attitude of the staff is also very good and enthusiastic. However, the sound insulation of the room is not very good, and the hygiene is relatively clean. Overall, it is quite good."
Hotel Asyl Nara
"Bad review, bad review, bad review. This hotel is the most unpleasant experience in my trip to Japan. I booked a twin room for more than 500, but there was one more person when I arrived. At first, they charged me 25,000 yen more, as if they had never seen money. After repeated communication, they deducted my original breakfast and said that I would have to pay at least 13,500 yen more. They used the most gentle words but did the most cruel thing. I couldn't communicate with the Ctrip manager to check out, and I was speechless in the end. But I have a backbone. I don't want the room or the money. It's super wordy and there is no service attitude at all."
Kamenoi Hotel Nara
"Although the scenery near the hotel seems to be remote, the hotel is actually in a good location. Next door is the ruins of Heijo Palace, and it is about a ten-minute walk from Kintetsu Yamato-Saidaiji Railway Station. Popular attractions such as Nara Park are only two stations away. The hotel can reserve a shuttle bus to the railway station. I saw some guests using it, but I didn't use it. The room is bigger than I expected. There is no extra charge for the hotel's hot spring facilities. There are both indoor and outdoor pools. The service of the hotel staff is very good. Overall, it is highly recommended."
Ryokan Asukasou at the Entrancne of Nara Park
"This hotel is a traditional Japanese ryokan with hot springs and an observation deck. Facilities: Excellent Cleanliness: Very clean Environment: Very quiet surroundings, and not far from Nara Station. Service: Very attentive."
Hotel Fine Garden Nara Horai
"Excellent stay! The breakfast was fantastic, and the staff were attentive and meticulous. The room was huge, especially by Japanese standards – incredibly spacious and a rare find. It truly felt like a secluded paradise."
Comfort Hotel Nara
"Very friendly and helpful staff. We were able to leave our luggage after checking in and enjoy coffee and tea when we picked it up in the evening. Clean and well-kept rooms."
Washington Hotel Plaza Nara
"Aside from the slightly small bathroom, everything else was fantastic. The hotel boasts an excellent location, making it incredibly convenient for transportation, dining, and exploring nearby attractions."
