"I recently stayed at Golden Tulip Westlands Nairobi and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is fairly new, well-maintained, and in a convenient location. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, and the room was comfortable and met all expectations. Breakfast was also very good with a nice variety of options. However, I was quite disappointed with the swimming pool. It was not properly maintained — the water was dirty, and the surrounding tiles were broken, making it unsafe to use. Unfortunately, this was a major downside to an otherwise good stay."

"Fantastic room, spacious with a great view. Water refills were prompt. The only downside was that they didn't accept local food, which made the breakfast less appealing, but at least they had boiled eggs."

"We really liked the hotel location and amenities. However, one of the employees stole $120 out of my purse in our room. At the time we were leaving, they were investigating and had a suspect. They were going to discipline this person. However, since it was still under investigation, I couldn’t get my money back before I left. So, they said they would email me. I haven’t heard from them yet. Whether or not, I would choose to stay there again will depend on whether or not I hear from them and get my money back "

Argyle Grand Hotel Nairobi Airport ★★★★★
"The hotel supposed to provide free transport to airport and while we checked in we indicated the time required as per the electronic notice board at 4 30am. The front desk told us the schedule shown was not updated. The free transport is only every hour as in either 4 am or 5am. We chose 4 am. The next morning when went to the front desk, the manager in-charged mentioned there was no booking. At the same time, they advised us free transport is only for certain hour. They show us the updated notice. We do not have a choice but to pay for the transport to airport. This is not fair to the guest that we are not informed of the change and the schedule and price charged changed overnight."

"The hotel location is great, only a short Uber to close attractions and a 5 min walk from a supermarket and Java house to get coffee. It’s not the cleanest place in the world, we had to ask staff to change sheets before we slept, but they were very helpful and did it quickly. Overall it was a pleasant experience."
