Mountain view Hotels in Koh Chang

I don't understand why this hotel has so many good reviews, but I want to write honestly, as someone who has worked in tourism for 20 years and seen a lot. The hotel definitely doesn't live up to its category. The biggest downsides are: there's no sea, the tide is very low every day, so you definitely can't swim here, and the knee-deep water that comes in in the afternoon smells like fish, and even while you're sitting at breakfast, there's a very unpleasant fish smell. But if you want, there's a shuttle that takes you to a good beach several times a day. The pool is dirty with green water; I was snorkeling, and there were tons of hair and sand at the bottom. The water doesn't circulate. In the morning, they pour two buckets of chlorine to disinfect the pool, and then it turns blue for a short while. The hotel rooms are large and comfortable, but tired. The tiles and plumbing need replacing. There were a lot of ants and cockroaches in the room. When we reported them, a worker came to exterminate them and treat them with ant repellent. On the plus side, the room has a large TV with YouTube access, a refrigerator, a tea station, a comfortable bed, and daily cleaning and towel changes. Peacocks roam the grounds (but that's not the main reason to come here). Breakfast is modest; there's a coffee machine with real coffee, pancakes, omelets like everywhere else, sausages and ham, and fruit. There were no yogurts or cheeses, and the juices were watered down. A lot of the equipment in the gym is broken. It depends on your preference, but for me, the sea and pool are key features in a place like this, so I wouldn't go back. There are plenty of cheaper and better options on the coast.

The room is very clean, with simple tableware, kitchenware, induction cooker, oven, etc. Interested friends can cook by themselves. The hotel is located on a small road, but it is easy to find and quiet. The second floor of the house is 2 bedrooms with separate bathrooms. There is a large foldable sofa bed in the living room on the first floor. You can walk to Pearl Beach in 3 minutes. The landlord also prepared a simple introduction to Chinese, English and Thai, including simple maps, travel messages and room-related messages. For this price, it is cheap and good. It is still worth staying.

Everything is great. The staff is really cool. The cleaning is spotless, and the towels are always fresh. There's a dog and two parrots on the property. The grounds themselves are well-kept, full of plants and flowers. It's very quiet at night. It's a 10-minute walk to the sea, but that's not a negative for me. I'll definitely be back again!

A nice hotel on a hill with a beautiful view, bungalows with a terrace where you can drink coffee and look at the mountains and palm trees. The internet connection is poor in the houses. It's a bit far from the sea, but you can ask the reception to take you to the beach. Peacocks roam the area, there is a swimming pool. The house has a kettle, tea, coffee, shower accessories, a refrigerator and a noisy air conditioner. Cleaning every day. I recommend it, the views are incredible, you live in the middle of nature.

Nice Location close to the beach. Good variety of bars and restaurants in that area. Clean room. There is also a Restaurant with a Pool table included in the Hotel. The bathroom is a bit small.

description and reality are different. I booked a luxury room with a king size bed and a mountain view, but they gave us a room with a road view. They said that only large beds with a road view. We had a lovely room with a sea view and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We would book the hotel again anytime.
