Mountain view Hotels in Koh Chang

I was referred to this resort by a couple who I met in Chonburi, I decided to make a reservation and drive to Trat to catch the car ferry. The google directions weren't correct as it tries to take you to the small bridge which is only passable via motorbikes etc. Driving a further 2klms where you follow the signs you arrive at the back of the resort. The Bungalow was great, basic room with a separate toilet/shower room. The room has air conditioning, wall fan and mosquito net. Sliding doors to a small balcony overlooking the gardens to the beach. A foot tap to wash your feet is available at the steps to each bungalow. There are no fridge's in the Bungalow but there is a common fridge that you can use at the reception hut which is available 24/7 just mark your items with the room number. The gardens are immaculate and well looked after, plenty of deck chairs, lounges to enjoy under the shady trees. Two 600ml bottles of water are provided daily and left on the balcony of each bungalow daily. Its a 40m walk to the water, similar to the adjoining restaurant Siam Kitchen. I found The Beach Cafe about 100m up the beach front to have a higher quality of food and portion size another restaurant that I would recommend is Indie Beach Cafe. Jebbi the manager of the resort is always onhand and available to assist. Great low key resort, chilled and recommended.

Belongs to the homestay. There is no hotel front desk. After arriving, call the landlord. He will tell you the room number and come over as soon as possible. The room is very clean, with simple tableware, kitchenware, induction cooker, oven, etc. Interested friends can cook by themselves. The hotel is located on a small road, but it is easy to find and quiet. The second floor of the house is 2 bedrooms with separate bathrooms. There is a large foldable sofa bed in the living room on the first floor. You can walk to Pearl Beach in 3 minutes. The landlord also prepared a simple introduction to Chinese, English and Thai, including simple maps, travel messages and room-related messages. For this price, it is cheap and good. It is still worth staying.

Pros: The accommodation has a pleasant, shady, quiet atmosphere with beautiful decor. Cons: 1. The accommodation was unprepared for guests' arrival (the air conditioner was turned on to cool the room for about 30 minutes but still wasn't cold; it turned out the refrigerant was empty, and staff had to call a technician to refill it. I believe the accommodation should check everything before guests arrive). 2. Some staff members were impolite. The heavier-set staff member wearing glasses, when informed about the air conditioning issue, responded with a tone and words that suggested a lack of experience in customer service. Their choice of words felt odd even during check-in and when being escorted to the room. For example, they said, 'We have to walk again. Let's go. I recommend not booking rooms far inside; it's a long walk' (even though I didn't choose the room when booking; the system assigned it. Even if it was meant as a joke, why say 'we have to walk again'? It's part of your job, and the customer hasn't even complained yet). This happened several times, leaving a bad first impression from the moment I parked the car, was shown to the room, and inquired about the air conditioner. However, the other 2-3 staff members I encountered spoke normally and provided lovely service. I was only unimpressed by the heavier-set person wearing glasses. I hope their behavior, demeanor, speech, and tone of voice can be improved, as their way of speaking was grating.

This hotel on Koh Chang is affordable with clean, comfortable rooms and all the necessary amenities. There's parking available, and the location right off the main road makes it easy to get around, even without a private car. The check-in staff were very efficient.

Nice Location close to the beach. Good variety of bars and restaurants in that area. Clean room. There is also a Restaurant with a Pool table included in the Hotel. The bathroom is a bit small.

description and reality are different. I booked a luxury room with a king size bed and a mountain view, but they gave us a room with a road view. They said that only large beds with a road view. The manager tried to fix the situation and offered us the top floor. All night long the music in the bar was screaming under the window and cars were making noise on the road. L'établissement est très bien entretenu, propre et situé en bord de mer, avec une belle piscine. Cependant, la baignade en mer est impossible en raison des rochers. Amazing staff who did all they could to correct any issues. Nice clean room with fridge and kettle etc. Housekeeping were fantastic. Great beachfront location, nice pool, nice restaurant and comfort bed in the heart of town but not loud at night at all, ideal for those wanting to be in town but not party too hard

The accommodation is good, quiet, near the sea, clear water, delicious breakfast, the owner provides very good service.
