Mountain view Hotels in Chania

The hotel looks very new, has a swimming pool, and also provides affordable drinks and light meals. The landlord’s family is very friendly, the service is thoughtful and the stay is comfortable. The slight disadvantage is that the hotel has no elevator, which is not convenient for the elderly and the guests with large boxes.

Lovely spotlessly clean apartment with balcony and views across the sea. Wonderful swimming pool, the staff were first rate, so friendly and helpful. Short walks to the beach, and lots of bars and restaurants. Bus stop at the bottom of the drive to take you into Chania (about 25 mins) . Trips available to purchase from reception and they also organised our airport taxi. Superb!

This was one of many hotels we looked at but after so many positive reviews about the hotel and the staff it was a no brainer to book and we weren’t disappointed. The staff go out of their way to help you always with a friendly smile. The hotel is clean and adults only makes it a bonus. It’s a 10 second walk from the beach front. The beach is a cove never over crowded and the water is crystal clear and shallow for a long way. Plenty of little shops and places to eat out in this little village. Breakfast in the hotel was good, tasty. Not spoilt for choice but plenty for whatever your tastes. Pool area is great always get a bed. But we mostly went to the beach. There’s a car hire place nearby and a trip to Chania Old Town is an absolute must do. Would come back here again for sure and to this lovely hotel. Highly recommend it.

We had a 3-night stay in July, one adult, two children. The hotel is newly built and in excellent condition, at a prime location in Palaiochora - just in front the sandy beach. Magnificent view from our balcony. There was a special offer for the umbrella/sunbed sets for the hotel guests. The breakfast was delicious, including lots of local products. Very friendly staff and owner, always willing to help. We had a great time at Ammos Hotel and we highly and unreservedly recommend it.

Superb location. We upgraded to a suite with a spa bath. Lovely view overlooking the harbour. Free water in the fridge. Very spacious room. Breakfast was very good. A lot of choice.

We had such a great experience! Room was comfy and clean and they even offered a free laundry room which was very helpful. I would also recommend the restaurant the food was amazing. Not to mention the view from the hotel was beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.

Superbe hôtel ! Moderne et service très agréable dès votre arrivée à la réception. Très bon petit déjeuner! Varié et de qualité avec un service à table pour la partie cafétérie. Jus d’orange frais( c’est rare pour le signaler) Le buffet du soir est trop chère pour ce que sais si je devais trouver un défaut.

The location was great, very close to the harbor and all around the old town area. The breakfast and breakfast staff were excellent . Room was clean and the bed was big and very comfortable

Fantastic small hotel located right on the beach. Absolutely clean and well maintained - very family friendly. Staff extremely helpful and genuinely nice and kind. The restaurant of the hotel is also worth a visit: fresh, quality meals and very affordable. Breakfast is spot on!

It’s located a little far from paleiochora , you definitely need to rent a car , cuz there is not a bus station near the hotel. Breakfast and personal are good . They don’t have wash machine you need to go to city for laundry. Average hotel price was ok.
