Even though their English wasn't fluent, they used a phone app to translate and communicate with me. They even let us watch the World Cup match on the rooftop until 1 AM, which was really great."

Loved the fresh orange juice , the homemade cakes and avacado cheese tomato on toast Pool pretty small but there aren’t loads of guests so no problem getting a sun bed. Pool towels provided Room was very clean with linen, towels changed every few days. Best shower I’ve ever experienced in Greece. Coffee maker but would have liked a kettle as well Pita Griil (recommended) & small supermarket just over the road. Sandy beach, more supermarkets restaurants 200 yards with a frequent bus service to Chania Town for 1.5 euro"

"A nice hotel a short walk from the town centre. Our room was clean, quiet and well equipped and, being on the second floor, had a level of natural light and a partial view of the sea. The outside, paved areas were sensitively laid out and featured a number of attractive sculptures. There was a good breakfast with a wide range of options. The staff in the hotel were incredibly helpful and welcoming. There were also a number of printed guides giving information about local walks etc. Our only criticism was that the bathroom was rather cramped."

Quiet from the evening chaos of Platanias, with convenient parking and a strategic location for organizing tours to the legendary beaches of Balos, Elafonissi, and Falassarna, or for visiting Chania. The reception was courteous and efficient, and the restaurant was adjoined by the excellent and friendly chef Caterina and staff. When returning from the tours, you'll find yourself saying, "Let's go home!" rather than to the hotel for the welcoming and tranquil atmosphere."

The only issue was that the elevator in the lobby frequently malfunctioned, getting stuck and not opening its doors unless someone pressed the button from the outside. As for hardware, the power outlets on the walls in the room were a bit loose. Other hardware was fine."

"A wonderful hotel with very helpful, friendly staff. The food at both breakfast and dinner is delicious, with a wide choice. Plenty of sun loungers by the pool and on the beach. There are music programmes at the pool in the evenings. We rented a private pool room which was absolutely worth it, very pleasant after a hot day. Everything was perfect."

The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and always greeted us with a smile, especially Jimmy - best bartender and also great and friendly man who is making best drinks!! The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of options and the hotel’s location was good, near to the Kato Stalos beach. There are many shops so you can get souvenirs. The entire property was well maintained and had a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again."

Breakfast was buffet-style as and adequate. Location is very close to many shops and restaurants but without the noise. I enjoyed the deep tissue massage at their spa. Enhancement areas suggested for Room 11: shower door does not close; the queen bed was two separate single beds put together instead of one mattress, and with separate bedcover sheets instead of one queen sized bedcover sheet; a kettle would have been useful."
