Royal Sun
"We had such a great experience! Room was comfy and clean and they even offered a free laundry room which was very helpful. I would also recommend the restaurant the food was amazing. Not to mention the view from the hotel was beautiful. Would definitely stay here again."
Hyperion City Hotel & Spa
"We went there during the off-season. There were almost no shops open around on Sundays, but the city center was a half-hour walk away and it was quite lively. The air conditioning in the room did not heat the room, the balcony was large, and there were not many types of breakfast."
Niriis Hotel
"Nautilus spa (Michael) Had a very professional massage, Michael has magical hands and recommend that you go to the STALIS hotel and find him.. the location is downstairs at the restaurant in the STALIS hotel, best 50min massage ever!!! Thank you Michael"
Hippie City Hostel
"Very thoroughly cleaned daily. Helpful staff. Good facility"
Elia Kalamaki Hotel
"Excellent stay! The staff here are absolutely fantastic. Nothing is a problem and they will go above and beyond to make sure your stay is comfortable and easy. Eleni and Vicky on reception are amazing girls, very friendly and kind and always happy to help. Klio the housekeeper was also very helpful and Yanna the cook was so funny and clearly loved her job. The pool is a little small but the hotel was quiet so we pretty much had the place to ourselves. Booked this hotel due to the very convenient free parking and some great restaurants nearby. Well done to the staff, you are all amazing!"
Aris Boutique Hotel
"Superbly friendly and helpful team - very comfortable room, excellent location and incredible breakfasts.....second time we've been and will definitely be going a third time! Check out the hammocks on the roof sun terrace and in the garden!"
Kanso Rooms
"We really had good time in this place, it was so close to nearest beaches ( you should walk or take a bus but l did not mind) we explored different beaches and areas each day🤩 there are very cute cats 😇☺️Also owner is so helpful and very polite guy, thank you so much"
Camping Chania
"Perfect stay. The beach is very close and the city center too. We stayed in a bungalow and we loved it. Staff of reception was very helpful and organised some trips for us, like Samaria gorge. Value for money"
Perla Beach
"From our early arrival to our late departure everything about the Perla Beach was fabulous. We stayed for 9 nights in a poolside studio room. It was a very good size with a small but sufficient kitchen area, shower room, dining area and a very large, comfortable double bed. There was a good sized terrace overlooking the pool with table and chairs. The room was spotless, the lovely cleaning ladies came in daily to change towels (if required), make the bed, removed trash and mopped throughout. The bed was changed every 3 days. The lovely guy in reception was always very helpful and courteous, nothing was too much trouble for him, lovely customer service which was very much appreciated. The pool is amazing and very well maintained. Lots of sun beds available and lots of shade if required, the gardens are kept neat and tidy too. The location of the Perla Beach is perfect, 2 minute stroll to the beautiful beach and loads of lovely restaurants close by. Plenty of shops and little supermarkets within walking distance. No noise from the main road either. The bus stops are also close by which is very handy of you want to go to Chnia town (well worth visiting) I have no hesitation in recommending the Perla Beach and will hopefully be back next year"

SanSal Boutique Hotel
"Excellent stay. The staff is very helpful and full of recommandations. The view from the room is very beautiful as the pool on the roof top. Rooms are clean. Large breakfast choice with local dishes."
Hotel Caretta Beach
"A lovely friendly family run hotel, we were delayed flying into Crete which put us at the hotel at passed midnight! As it’s a small business the reception was closed BUT we had a lovely notice left on the door telling us which room we’re in and to just see them in the morning when we were ready. Inside the room had been left stuffed peppers for us to eat! Which absolutely fantastic as we were indeed starving! In the morning we headed for breakfast which overlooked the beach again blown away The whole of the stay stayed at this level fantastic hotel, brilliant and happy staff, what else do you want!!!"
Samaria Hotel
"The location is very good, very close to the beach and convenient for eating. The hotel lobby is very new, the rooms are a bit old, but clean and the staff are nice. Maybe I booked late and the price is very expensive, so the price/performance ratio is a bit low."
Anais Collection Hotels & Suites
"Great location, close to beautiful, family-friendly beaches. The hotel's two pleasant pool areas and two well-equipped gyms also offered plenty of activities. Breakfast was a big plus. The room was cleaned daily. The staff were genuinely friendly. A huge extra thank you for the option to use the shower on departure day."
Harmony Boutique Resort - Adults Only
"A beautiful hotel and resort. Booked a double ‘superior’ room with private pool. Although when we got here, the staff member who greeted us, didn’t believe the room that we had booked. And tried to get us into a swim up room, which we refused and stuck to our guns and got the room we wanted. Knee deep in German tourists, felt very in the minority. They weren’t all friendly, in fact very rude and quite insular and just keeping to themselves or other Germans. The rooms are supposed to be non smoking, but we were next to a couple of whom one of them smoked. A laundry and dry cleaning service is listed on amenities, but when we asked at reception they said no. Breakfast was nice, although def again catering for German tourists, who seem to congregate in the bread aisle. Choices of some vary every day, good choice provided, but mini frankfurters etc . No decent sausages, and bacon was ok but a bit limp and lifeless. Plenty of restaurants etc outside the hotel, trying to vary where we eat dinner each night. Trips available to various parts of Crete. Our miaid Rudima was great, very quick and efficient. Phone in room didn’t work, and when we told reception they didn’t seem too bothered. Would it have been different if we were German I wonder? Tv in the room could be better place above the bed, sink in room couldn’t work out how to close plug to use. We are here for another week, so far so good. But they def need to look at what is listed on Trio advisor in terms of facilities / services and correct. Also English tourists like to go on Holiday, Harmony Boutique Resort. Don’t forget about us"
JW Marriott Crete Resort & Spa
"The hotel has only been open for two months. The location is a bit out of the way, but the environment is quite nice, the service is excellent, and the food in the hotel restaurant is also very good. It's great value for money. I unexpectedly celebrated my birthday at the hotel on the day I checked in. Because I arrived at the hotel quite late, I found a cake and champagne in my room when I returned the next day after going out. It was wonderful! 👍"
Vignette Collection THE CHANIA HOTEL CRETE by IHG
"The location of the hotel is definitely very good and a plus point. We were greeted in a friendly manner and the lady at the bar gave us a welcome drink. The hotel looks quite high-quality at the entrance and you feel like you're in good hands. I would say it's not 5-star level, but around 3.5-4 absolutely. The room we were given unfortunately had no windows (the description said there was one). No problem for us. Our biggest criticism is that there was no door in the shower because it had been removed. So you couldn't shower properly without water spraying outside. When we told reception, they just said "we didn't know" and preferred to answer the ringing phone and leave the guest standing there. Who would know if not the hotel, so unfortunately it's far from 5-star service. We expected a small apology and that the problem would be taken care of. I think it's a real shame that you pay so much money and then get a room that doesn't meet the standard and isn't really at the level you want it to be given to guests. Luckily we only spent one day here and had previously spent the week in a real 5-star hotel. I can really only give this hotel 3/5 stars overall."
Aloe Boutique Hotel & Suites - Adults Only
"We recently stayed at this hotel and overall had a positive experience, particularly if your priority is relaxation and switching off completely. The hotel itself is modern in design, with excellent facilities throughout. The gym and pool areas were always spotless and very well maintained, and the reception staff were consistently professional, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed in one of the loft rooms, which was comfortable overall and nicely designed, although it did feel a little clinical with the all-white décor. It was difficult to get enough air circulating, and it often felt quite stuffy, especially at night. The pool area was beautiful and peaceful, but for us it lacked a little atmosphere. It remained very quiet throughout the day, which will be perfect for guests looking for complete peace and relaxation, but those looking for a more social or lively holiday vibe may find it a little too subdued. I also used the spa and booked a sports massage, which unfortunately fell below expectations. It didn’t feel particularly tailored or therapeutic, and for the price, I didn’t feel it offered great value. The hotel is located in a quiet village with some very good restaurants nearby. Although, we found ourselves taking taxis into Chania when we wanted a little more atmosphere, character, and variety. The only other minor point was that one waiter came across as less approachable than the rest of the team, which stood out because otherwise the service was very good. Overall, this is a great if you’re looking for a stylish, peaceful escape. If you prefer a livelier atmosphere or more going on nearby, it’s worth keeping the location and overall vibe in mind."
Atlantica Ocean Beach Resort
"julius and andreas are the best! Their energy is perfect and we loved to do different kind of games and activities with them! We would love to visit again! Also thanks for other people! Wish nothing but the best for you!!"
Villa Alexander
"The place is almost super hygienic, now I look from the balcony at Mrs. Sandy, who is scrubbing the space by the pool with a smile ... Super helpful and always in a good mood. A place where you calmly walk barefoot everywhere. The pool and suites exceed expectations. A longer walk to the main beach, but shorter every day :) However, 4 minutes from the hotel there is a rocky, wild descent to the sea with a ladder. We are a large group from Poland and absolutely everyone is delighted, and we have been to Greece many times. It's great here!"
Monastery Estate Venetian Harbor
"A hotel with local characteristics, very high ceilings, and enthusiastic staff. It should be a hotel renovated on a ruin. The restaurant next to the hotel is also very good."
Elia Hotel & Spa
Creta Palm Resort Hotel & Apartments
"Our stay at this hotel was truly enjoyable. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful and always greeted us with a smile, especially Jimmy - best bartender and also great and friendly man who is making best drinks!! The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety of options and the hotel’s location was good, near to the Kato Stalos beach. There are many shops so you can get souvenirs. The entire property was well maintained and had a pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to stay here again."
Evexia Boutique Hotel & Spa
"A relaxing stay in a pristine hotel - beautiful rooms, friendly staff and an atmosphere and aroma that provide instant calm! Rooms were spacious and spotless, the staff were friendly, and location was convenient - Chania was accessible by bus and the beach was just 100m away."
Mossa Well Being Hotel
"Fabulous experience at this hotel. Impeccable service throughout my 4 days here, and the room was spacious and lovely ! Breakfast was filling , everything was amazing. Wished I could stay a few more days here. Will definitely come back if I visit Crete"
Casa Delfino Hotel & Spa
