Wonderful guesthouse to stay in and visit the Lake District. Room was nice and clean ! Hosts Anita and Denis were super hospitable and friendly, and whipped up a fantastic Caribbean breakfast (Saltfish Fritters) and Full English Breakfast for us each morning :) Highly recommended for anyone who wishes to stay at Windermere !

Amazing travel experience, the owner of the house and two dogs will take them out every day! Breakfast was generous and delicious! The day of check-in was Valentine's Day, and the owner also prepared chocolates and flowers!

Location: It takes about 10 minutes to walk from Windermere Railway Station. The way to go is downhill, and the way back is uphill. It is quite close. The accommodation is self-check-in, there is access control, no elevator, you need to carry your luggage, the highest third floor The room is quite big, health ok, hot water is a bit slow, the room has heating Hotel breakfast (8:30 ～ 9:30) is not bad, there are many choices, you can fill in the table at the door one day in advance. We needed to catch the car in advance on the last day, so that the hotel staff helped prepare breakfast on the road in advance, the service attitude was very good, praise

The walk from the bus to the hotel is quite steep, so it's not recommended for solo travelers (especially with luggage). There's no elevator, and the staff needed help carrying luggage. Since I was traveling alone, I booked a single room. Looking up the website, I remember there were three single rooms available, and the view from the one I was assigned wasn't particularly good. However, the interior was relatively new and clean, and I was particularly pleased with the spacious shower in the bathroom. The toiletries were very nice, and they also provided small cookies, snacks, and a bottle of mineral water upon check-in. There are some great deals on the hotel website for spring and summer, so check before booking. The highly recommended breakfast is also available on a la carte basis. I noticed a window seat available, but the staff refused twice. The third time, they reluctantly offered to move me to a window seat, saying ”Oh my God!” so I deducted a point for their service. However, the view was beautiful. Overall, I recommend this for solo backpackers or for booking a signature room for two.

Although the room is not big, it is ok for three people to live. It is a little time to wash. Family hotel. The service is great. The breakfast is cooked by the store couple. It is divided into cold meals and hot meals. Cold meals do not need to be paid extra. Hot food needs to be extra money. Easy access to the lake area and commercial street

Traditional friendly guest house. Nice , clean bedroom with en suite shower room. 5 mins walk to Windermere centre, easy access to Bowness. Owners were friendly and welcoming with good knowledge of local attractions. We would stay again if in the area.

It is not an exaggeration to say that I personally feel that only by staying at the Langdale Chase Hotel can we truly appreciate the beauty of the Lake District. The attitude of the staff is also relatively good. The hotel is about 5 kilometers from the railway station and a taxi is 10 pounds; it is about 2 kilometers from the ambleside pier. You can also take a bus to these two towns, but the bus stop is five to six hundred meters away from the hotel, which is not particularly recommended. If you are not driving by yourself, it is better to take a taxi. If you are taking a taxi, it is best to call the front desk. It usually takes ten minutes. If you are in a hurry, it is best to advance. The toilet facilities are slightly outdated, but there is no major impact. The lake view room I stayed this time was quite spacious with a balcony. Overall, very satisfied!

We encountered difficulty in setting the thermostat and asked for help. The hotline gave us hints to change the settings and as a result, the problem of no hot water was solved.
