Wonderful guesthouse to stay in and visit the Lake District. Room was nice and clean ! Hosts Anita and Denis were super hospitable and friendly, and whipped up a fantastic Caribbean breakfast (Saltfish Fritters) and Full English Breakfast for us each morning :) Highly recommended for anyone who wishes to stay at Windermere !

12eleanorAmazing travel experience, the owner of the house and two dogs will take them out every day! Breakfast was generous and delicious! The day of check-in was Valentine's Day, and the owner also prepared chocolates and flowers!

pollyvilaAlthough the room is not big, it is ok for three people to live. It is a little time to wash. Family hotel. The service is great. The breakfast is cooked by the store couple. It is divided into cold meals and hot meals. Cold meals do not need to be paid extra. Hot food needs to be extra money. Easy access to the lake area and commercial street

You can see the small courtyard of the lake, the service is warm and thoughtful, and the health is very good. You can have dinner and drink in the store. Very warm. It was rainy when we arrived, so we could hangout in the hotel and not afraid of wind and rain. You can see the lake and the snowy mountains on a sunny day. Breakfast is semi-buffet, you can order a fresh meal, I recommend french toast. We saw two rabbits running outside at breakfast.

The rooms were clean and spacious. The reception staff are so friendly and informative. We’d definitely book this hotel again.
