Absolutely, truly, incredibly perfect! Great service, delicious food, and a fantastic stay! On the day we checked in, we had an incredibly high-quality afternoon tea. The Basque cheesecake and milk pudding 🍮 were just the right sweetness! Immediately after, we were blown away by the beautiful view from our room. We booked a family room, which had two separate rooms, each with its own bathroom and bathtub 🛁!! The room was also fully stocked with amenities, like Tempo tissues, bath bombs, and the amenity kit was incredibly thoughtful! It even included hair clips, sanitary pads, and makeup remover wipes! The breakfast was extensive, and in the evenings, there was a movie night with snacks like rubing (cheese), milk, and butter tea! Seriously, it's the perfect place to relax and unwind in Lugu Lake. We had 3 incredibly leisurely, comfortable, and blissful days!!!

Location of the hotel is perfect for anyone visiting lugu lake. Imagine waking up to the view of the lake and mountains. The hotel is also fairly new with beautiful deco and they have prepared many thoughtful things include disposable towels, disposable bath tub towel, free daily afternoon tea and a short photoshoot. The front desk staff 阿文was also very helpful. A couple of things I wished went better: - breakfast: selection was quite limited and mainly Chinese food. Was not an issue for me as I typically don’t take breakfast. - limited toilet paper: unfortunately my husband and I were down with food poisoning during the trip so the toilet paper quickly became a scarcity. - inconsistent temperature in the shower: the shower on my first night toggled between icy cold and steamy hot even without me adjusting the temperature. Overheard from other guests that they had the same issue as well. The hotel thankfully was able to fix it on my second night. - mattress was too hard, and it felt like I was sleeping directly on the floor… unfortunately the hotel didn’t have an option to add on a topper and it really affected my sleep quality during the two nights we were there. However, preference for a softer mattress is personal. Would have been nice if the hotel has toppers prepared for guests who prefer a softer bed. Overall, it was still a pleasant experience and I’d recommend for anyone visiting lugu lake.

While the gorgeous lake-view rooms were a highlight, it was the forest tea house, meticulously crafted within the resort, that truly captivated me. The entire resort is built harmoniously with the mountain slopes, featuring staggered old wooden cabins, thatched roofs, and scattered tent accommodations nestled amongst the pine trees. As night falls, warm string lights illuminate the pathways, blending seamlessly with the evening, the pines, and the vegetation, creating an incredibly enchanting atmosphere. Strolling along the stone steps, each turn reveals a new picturesque scene—be it a triangular tent or an independent wooden tea room—each space possessing its own unique charm. I particularly loved the forest tea house. These independent wooden tea structures, set amidst the woods, with paper lanterns, low tea tables, and futon cushions, perfectly encapsulate the essence of the wilderness and tea culture. Sitting here brewing a pot of Pu'er, with the deep mountains visible through the window and the evening breeze rustling through the pine branches, all urban anxiety and fatigue simply melt away. It's an ideal spot for a quiet tea gathering for two, or a small salon-style meeting with friends, offering an unparalleled ambiance. The LOFT duplex lake-view room we stayed in was equally impressive. With its two-story layout, the space felt expansive and comfortable. Floor-to-ceiling windows offered direct views of the entire Lugu Lake, and the tatami tea table by the window was perfect for enjoying the lake and mountain sunset at leisure. All the hardware was brand new, the lighting was soft and sophisticated, and the heating was ample. Parking for self-drivers was convenient, making our travels worry-free. The staff provided genuine and thoughtful service, offering practical local recommendations without being overly polite. This place offers not only prime, front-row views of Lugu Lake but also a unique mountain forest tea space. It's more than just accommodation; it's a destination where you can immerse yourself in tea and unwind. Whether you're traveling with family or with fellow tea enthusiasts, Dingxia Island is well worth a special trip to Lugu Lake. An unexpected delight during our Yunnan trip! We made a last-minute decision to visit Lugu Lake. After seeing reviews mentioning cats (which my kids love), we booked this place without much further thought. To our surprise, the children absolutely adored it, and we adults found it incredibly relaxing too. The staff were so kind and helpful to the little ones, and the convenient pick-up/drop-off service made getting around effortless. Even on a rainy day, the kids had a blast participating in the guesthouse activities! We even hiked up the back mountain to forage for mushrooms – so much fun! The overall decor perfectly complements the stunning scenery of Lugu Lake; it's a paradise for photography enthusiasts. I've stayed in many expensive guesthouses, but this is the only one I genuinely feel offered excellent value for money. From the hardware (scenery, decor, facilities) to the software (service, experience), everything was top-notch. We regretted not arriving sooner and wished we could have stayed an extra two days. Just relaxing at the guesthouse, strolling around, or enjoying a drink on the terrace with the view – it was all incredibly comfortable. It's perfect for a few friends to gather, unwind, and clear their minds. One last thing: the breakfast was quite rich, especially the Western options. My two kids were fighting over it and even wanted to order more after finishing! Unfortunately, portions are prepared in advance, so if your kids are big eaters, I recommend ordering an extra portion in advance. 😂😂😂 If I get the chance, I'll definitely come back with friends for another vacation. A million recommendations!!!!

This hotel is super close to the lake, just a two-minute walk away. Waking up in the morning and opening the curtains to see the lake, combined with the fresh air, really puts you in a great mood. The hotel lobby is very cozy, and the wooden architecture gives it a very peaceful vibe. The room size was just right, and it was immaculately clean. The staff are also incredibly friendly and always happy to patiently answer any questions. You can even ask the owner for travel tips; they gave us some fantastic recommendations for hidden gems around Lugu Lake. And I have to mention the food! The sour fish soup, a specialty from the chef's hometown, was amazing. The fish was bought and prepared fresh, and the sour, appetizing flavor made me eat several bowls of rice. I'm already planning to come back next summer! 🤪🤪🤪

My first review on Ctrip is dedicated to Muyu Guesthouse in Lugu Lake. As someone who doesn't like to do much research, I'm always afraid of being misled by online photos before booking. After browsing hundreds of hotels and guesthouses, I finally chose Muyu, which I suppose was fate. The result far exceeded my expectations: the entire guesthouse is decorated in warm orange tones, and every room exudes a cozy and romantic atmosphere. I especially loved the small garden on the first floor—among the guesthouses in the area, only Muyu has maintained its plants so meticulously, perfect for photos and for pets to play in. The short-haired landlady is efficient and warm, with a natural radiance in her conversation. From the spatial layout to the service details, her thoughtfulness is evident everywhere. Even the recommended local restaurants were a pleasant surprise. Lugu Lake is already a paradise worth visiting repeatedly, and Muyu's existence gives this longing a true home. After returning home, Mr. Z was inspired to write a poem for Muyu as a token of his gratitude: Muyu: Emerald green hills creep up the steps at dawn, the reed gates open to reveal a lush dew. Muyu The aroma of beans cooked in the spring fills the house; the cauldron, like clouds, is simmered, its surface shimmering like silk. Occasionally, mountain birds are called to add to the wild vegetables; sometimes, the moon shines on the fragrant cup. The most sentimental is the guest by the abyss, who rises at dawn to simmer a soup of fine, delicate ingredients.

I stayed at Eluodi for two nights, and it truly felt like living inside a beautiful landscape. The moment I opened the door, I was greeted by the lake view, sleeping right by the water. Waking up to the mist over the lake and falling asleep to the gentle lapping of waves at night, every moment felt like living in a painting. The guesthouse itself embodies Mosuo charm, with light, shadow, wood, and stone blending perfectly – every picture I took was stunning. What made it even more special were the people. Cier, Zhaxi, and Yangsen were so thoughtful and naturally friendly, like old friends, adding many warm memories to my trip. If it weren't for my travel schedule, I would have loved to stay a few more days.

Service: The service was excellent. The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, and since we checked in during the off-season, they upgraded our room and even provided afternoon tea. When we left, they gave us scented candles as a gift. We were quite forgetful and left some items behind, and the front desk staff, a lovely lady, reminded us and even drove them out to us. We bothered her twice, and we were truly touched, grateful, and a bit embarrassed at the same time 😂. Room: The upgraded room had a perfect view of Lugu Lake right from the window. Unable to sleep at night, I could lie in bed and gaze at the starry sky, and surprisingly, even managed to capture a sky full of stars through the window. The sunrise at around 6 AM was breathtaking, with the soft sunlight gently filling the room, allowing for a 'painless' sunrise viewing experience. This window alone makes it worth a five-star rating. Amenities: The hotel's terrace and restaurant offer fantastic views; just sitting there, eating, and daydreaming was a true pleasure. The breakfast was very generous, and both the elderly and children were very satisfied. Highly recommended!

The hotel is located on the lakeside not far from the lake area. The balcony faces southeast. We arrived in the afternoon and saw the beautiful scenery of Lugu Lake. Lugu Lake is quiet and beautiful, just like this hotel and the hostess of the hotel. A girl, enthusiastic and sincere. We thought that afternoon tea was just a cup of tea and a few biscuits. But they had 4 kinds of fruits, French fries and chicken nuggets, and the tea was also a local specialty flower tea. It was very attentive at first glance. There were also desserts in the evening. The rice noodles for her breakfast were much better than those in most restaurants. The hotel is clean, well-equipped, and the hot water in the bathtub is sufficient. It adds a lot of color to the trip to Lugu Lake. I look forward to going there again next time.

The lake view is absolutely stunning! Breakfast was served promptly and was very tasty. Taking a hot spring bath was particularly comfortable – pure bliss! We booked rooms with private hot tubs for both nights, which was incredibly relaxing. The place was also very clean. Plus, there's a street full of eateries right out the back door, making it super convenient to stay here in Daluoshui Village.
