Mountain view Hotels in Lanzhou

The room is OK and big. It is the only hotel I have stayed in that I was not scared of. The uncles and aunts in the kitchen are very nice. When my child was not feeling well, they kept waiting for us even though they had finished get off work. They worked hard. The driver was also great, picking us up and dropping us off. Overall, they were all good and their attitudes were also good!

What truly impressed me most about my trip to Lanzhou wasn't just the hotel's facilities, but the incredible emotional value provided by the front desk team at Days Hotel & Suites by Wyndham Lanzhou Xiguan! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the front desk attendant greeted me warmly, and not only was the check-in process efficient and seamless, but she also went out of her way to upgrade me to a more spacious room. They even had complimentary drinks available at the front desk – the service was truly attentive and subtle, leaving you feeling valued and cared for. It was fantastic! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lanzhou!

I only realized upon checking in that this is a Huazhu Hotels Group brand, which made me feel even more at ease. Facilities: It's a very new hotel with smart home features and disposable cups, which are convenient for personal hygiene. 24-hour free airport shuttle service: The airport pick-up and drop-off service is very thoughtful. Environment: From the hotel, you can see a vast starry sky, and it's quiet.

The location is excellent, with rooms overlooking the river offering great views and scenery. The decor is nice, but the equipment is quite unsatisfactory; the air conditioning doesn't cool, and the hot water isn't hot… Fortunately, the service is good, with timely repairs. If the repairs couldn't be fixed, they changed rooms. Although this affected the overall experience, I still commend their service. Breakfast was perfunctory, which is to be expected, as the hotel is located in an apartment building (building number 23), with no shops nearby, making dining inconvenient. Parking is relatively convenient.

The room has a fantastic location, with a balcony directly facing the Danxia landform and offering stunning sunset views. The Danxia Scenic Area is right next door, with plenty of authentic local snacks. The hotel is situated in the middle of the loop, offering beautiful scenery no matter which way you turn. Staying in the mountains is incredibly peaceful; I even saw a blue sheep, a Class II protected animal, during my morning run. The scenic area is vast, and staying here allows for a more in-depth exploration.

A student going to take an exam changed rooms three times, and finally, the receptionist on Friday night helped resolve the issue of not being able to find a suitable room. This exam was very important to me, thank you (the receptionist that night). Her service attitude was genuinely helpful, not perfunctory or impatient. Before leaving, she apologized for not being satisfied with the room after several changes, but a good night's rest the night before was crucial for me to take the exam smoothly. Because it was my first time booking, I got a free upgraded room, which was quite clean. However, although the upgraded room had good lighting, it was a bit noisy at night because it was close to the roadside. Although I could sleep well, I asked the front desk the next day. The young lady helped me change a room that was not close to the roadside. The young lady at the front desk also changed it for me quickly. Thank you very much! The hotel includes breakfast, which is rich in variety. You can also take it back to your room to eat. My friends and I were very full! tasty! Before leaving, the front desk also gave me a small bag of snacks. I liked it very much. Thank you~

We used to trust Vienna International brand but this one in Lanzhou West, is below our expectation. The bath towels were torn and had frayed edges. No one could believe seeing torn bath towels in use. Room size, bed mattress, air conditioning were fine. Breakfast had nice varieties with fresh cooking. Laundry dryer took exceedingly long time to dry clothing, probably due to poor ventilation or insufficient dryer heat. Hot water shower was good. Quality standard of room preparation needs to be improved. 

I have stayed at this hotel quite often during my 37 trips to Lanzhou. The breakfast is good and the staff are friendly and proficient. My only problem this trip was that the shower only had hot water and the cold water could not work. So I hurried with my shower before the water got too hot. The location is on a very active street with Line 1 Gansu government stop around the next corner, maybe 400 meters total. I will stay there again.

This homestay is cost-effective and the rooms are clean and tidy. Although there is no air conditioning in all the rooms, it is still acceptable for short-term stays. Because I personally like this kind of home feeling, I feel it is very warm, just like returning to my own home, and living very comfortably. However, given the advice of some reviews, if you are looking for more facilities and comfort, a hotel might be a better choice. After all, there is nothing particularly amazing here, it is more of a simple and comfortable living experience. Because of the special date, I was unable to book a room the next day, which shows that this B&B is still very popular. If you like this kind of living and warm environment, you might as well give it a try.
