The room was great, and the view was beautiful. The front desk attendant was so thoughtful; she let me check in early and even recommended some local places to eat, which was really nice. The 'sha zhu fen' (pig-killing noodles) for breakfast was delicious. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance.

Mangshan Sitting at the Forest Hot Spring B&B completely subverted my understanding of the B&B! The sanitary details are comparable to five-star hotels: daily cleaning and disinfection, daily change of sheets and towels, even toothbrush cups are intimately packaged in disposable packaging, and people with obsessive-compulsive disorder are directly satisfied. The environment is even more fairy-level, the room terrace faces the sea of clouds and forests, and the mist is like a fairyland after the rain. The most amazing is the private kitchen! The ingredients are all freshly picked locally. Mangshan Black Dolphin is very good. The reservoir forktail fish, firewood chicken, and the rice grown by the farmhouse are all cooked in mountain spring water, and the grains are sweet. For this stutter, it is worth coming again! The overall experience is full marks, strong Amway!

Guest UserThis was my first time encountering such a great value for money in a B&B. I have to say the owner is truly exceptional. His thoughtfulness and attentiveness were evident in every detail, especially with the children, surpassing even our own patience as parents. Due to the high-speed rail shortage during the National Day holiday, we couldn't secure a suitable ticket, which put our plans for Chenzhou on hold. We were anxious about getting from the high-speed train to the B&B and then returning the next day. However, the owner was incredibly thoughtful, contacting us in advance to understand our situation and making the best arrangements possible. On our first day off the high-speed train, the weather in Hunan was incredibly hot, and our family of four waited for the train for a long time at the station, nearly causing our child to suffer from heatstroke. I was naturally agitated, but after contacting the owner, he promptly adjusted our arrangements for our family of four and asked the driver to be more reassuring. Fortunately, there was no traffic, so we were able to drive all the way to the B&B (because a section of the road to Yangtian Lake was restricted for National Day, requiring a bus). I can't imagine how our family of four would have felt without the owner's thoughtful arrangements. After an hour's journey, we finally arrived at the B&B, where we met the owner, who enthusiastically prepared lunch (the ingredients were grown in the owner's own garden). He also personally prepared the room for us and told us that the owner would personally pick us up for the itinerary and the round trip to Yangtian Lake. After dinner, the owner took our children on sightseeing trips, allowing them to get in touch with nature. After lunch, he personally sent us to Yangtian Lake and kindly told us to tell him to pick us up after the tour. He also gave us some precautions. Although it was only a short day's trip, the owner's service was very thoughtful, 100 points. He took care of all our family's meals and even set off fireworks for the children (because it was too late to set off fireworks at Yangtian Lake). So in order not to disappoint the children, the owner This is so awesome! So touching! The next day, we needed high-speed rail tickets for 7:00 AM, and the host got up at 5:00 AM to make us breakfast and drive us to the station. Worried we wouldn't eat well on the way, he even bought us some Hunan breakfast. It was such a heartwarming experience! He also told us about Hunan's attractions along the way. We'll definitely be back. Kids visiting Chenzhou, don't worry, the host is so kind. The room was especially clean. I'm a mysophobe, and even their slippers were disposable plastic, definitely not recyclable. They even had children's slippers. There's a river and stream nearby for play, and they sell snacks downstairs, which was very convenient. Due to time constraints, I didn't take a close-up photo of the room, but it was absolutely stunning.

Guest UserThe biggest plus for this hotel is that it is just 850 meters from the tourist attraction for which we came. The GaoYi Ridge, also known as Feitianshan (飞天山高椅岭景区) Scenic Spot. This is a small family run hotel which does not have an elevator. But the owners help you to carry the luggage up. The room is small but adequate, the furniture and bathroom fittings well appointed. The toilet kit was standard, though I normally do not use the disposable toiletries. There is a restaurant a stone's throw away from the hotel, which served us adequate food even late at night.
The biggest disadvantage for this hotel is that it is about an hour's drive from the Chenzhou West Railway Station. But that did not deter us because our purpose was to go sightseeing for the GaoYi Ridge Danxia Landform.

Guest UserFor cat lovers and those who don't like cats, look no further!! A friendly and adorable tabby cat named Xiaohu will fill your heart's content! 🤣😍 The lovely young lady owner of the guesthouse provides impeccable service. We stayed here for four nights and thoroughly explored Mangshan's East and West Gates and the surrounding area.
The guesthouse is clean, with plenty of hot water and air conditioning that's both warm and cool. The price is reasonable, and it's close to the scenic area entrance with many delicious restaurants nearby.
Tips:
1. There's a great Tujia restaurant about 50 meters away with large bowls of dishes. The Yao ethnic minority owner is very friendly and the portions are generous.
Recommended dishes: Chicken hotpot, bighead carp hotpot, fern root rice cakes, dry-pot cauliflower, and various stir-fries are all excellent.
2. The guesthouse doesn't have an elevator, so you'll have to carry large luggage. There's no refrigerator.
A microwave is provided for simple food heating. 3. There's a pretty good breakfast place next door that makes ”pig-killing noodles,” or you can turn right at the alley in front of the Liangxin B&B and find a local breakfast shop with good steamed dumplings and rice noodle rolls.
4. The ticket for entering through the West Gate is for two days. Remember, if you want to explore the General's Village scenic area, you must go counter-clockwise… If you don't believe it, you can try going clockwise 🤣
5. If it's cold, after one person finishes showering, the next person should wait a bit, otherwise there might not be enough hot water.

This was our second stay at the Jinhuang Hotel, and the quality remained excellent! The front desk recognized us and upgraded our room, which was a pleasant surprise. The room was quiet and clean, and the facilities were well-maintained. The staff were proactive, friendly, and responsive. The surrounding area is convenient for dining and shopping, greatly enhancing our trip to Chenzhou. We'll definitely stay here again!

The room was tiny, and the facilities felt more like a 3-star hotel. The mattress was incredibly soft; after just one night, my back was aching. The bed frame was even worse – I was afraid to even turn over because it made such a loud creaking noise. It was really disturbing at night. Even a slight movement would make the mattress shake violently, waking up anyone next to me. Honestly, this is the worst bed I've ever experienced in any hotel. For a supposed five-star establishment, the hardware really needs an upgrade.

It was absolutely perfect. It's a shame I could only spend one day at Yangtian Lake; otherwise, I would have stayed for several days to relax and unwind. The hotel's location is unique, nestled against the hillside next to the scenic area. The staff were excellent, with two young women constantly offering to help with my luggage. The complimentary fruit, snacks, and drinks were plentiful, and the hotel's cleanliness was on par with a five-star hotel. The view upon waking up was completely worth the price. The sunrise and sunset were especially breathtaking; the views from the balcony were breathtaking. Without further ado, here are the pictures and video. Full marks! I'll definitely stay here again for another two weeks on my vacation.

Very good homestay, the location is scarce, just opposite the No. 2 Bridge, the homestay is 10 meters away from the scenic spot is the essence section, and there are drivers to take orders in and out of the taxi. In addition to the fog view, Xiaodongjiang is also very beautiful on a sunny day in the evening. The quilt of the homestay is also clean, and breakfast, lunch and dinner can also be eaten at the homestay.
