"Absolutely fantastic! 👍 The building is new, the views are beautiful, and the cleanliness is excellent. The staff are all friendly and very helpful. The room was cleaned every day. There's a kitchen with complete amenities 👍, and the towels are clean and fragrant. All areas are spotless. The downside: It's a bit far from everything, but you can order food and other things online (Grab), so for those looking for a peaceful getaway, this place is perfect. There's also an airport shuttle. My family and I really enjoyed our vacation at Kaliwatu Villas and Residence. If I ever come to Labuan Bajo again, I will definitely stay here. "The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, just about a ten-minute drive from the airport, perched on a cliff overlooking the sea. The room design allows you to enjoy the ocean view right from your bed, and the water is incredibly clear – you can even spot fish swimming from the 10th-floor balcony. We had two bookings, totaling five days and four nights here, and every moment, from the first light of dawn to bright sunshine, from dusk to a sky full of stars, we were mesmerized by the stunning beauty. 🥰🥰🥰 The staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming. They'd greet me in the hallways, and the staff at the entrance and in the restaurant would chat with me daily, asking if I'd rested well and what my plans for the day were, which I found particularly heartwarming. As a solo female traveler, safety is paramount, and I truly felt like they genuinely cared about me, always ready to welcome me back, which made me feel very secure when I went out. The two restaurants on the hotel's 2nd and 8th floors offered almost all common dishes, and they were both healthy and delicious. I didn't eat out at all during my five days there. I especially want to mention the 'Six Views in One Day' tour. I really dislike joining tours with fellow countrymen, as I believe traveling is about meeting interesting people and experiencing interesting things from all over the world. So, I didn't book through the popular apps we usually use. Instead, I emailed the hotel in advance and booked their 'Black Swan Adventure'. There were 11 of us in total: a Norwegian couple, an Australian couple, a French family of three, three sisters from Asia, and then me, the lone 11th person! 😄😄😄 I had a wonderful chat with the guide, and I'm especially grateful to him for taking so many fantastic photos for me. ❤️❤️❤️ And the staff member who guided me with a swim ring – with my limited swimming skills, I would definitely have been swept away by the waves if I'd tried to paddle alone. He even used my phone to dive to the bottom and take photos of a sea turtle. At the end of the trip, someone mentioned wanting to Airdrop, but there were many videos (which might have been pressed out by water pressure through the waterproof bag), and the one I opened, thinking it was it, turned out to be nothing. So I'll just include it in this review, in case they see it. Overall, it was a very nice and unforgettable trip! If I ever get the chance to visit Komodo again, I will definitely choose Katamaran! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻"

"I really regret not discovering this hotel sooner! The hotel has a very quiet, Southeast Asian vibe. The service is also much better than hotels near the main tourist street. They offer yoga classes, morning Zumba on the beach, and even a diving club. I stayed at three different hotels in Labuan Bajo, and if I come back, this will be my top choice. The only thing to watch out for is mosquitoes in the room, but the front desk will provide mosquito coils if you ask."

"This hotel wasn’t the most expensive one I’ve booked, yet it delivered the best experience by far. Perched on a cliff, it is fully equipped with complete facilities and surrounded by stunning scenery. The hotel’s bougainvillea blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings. You can witness four distinct breathtaking views throughout the day — morning, noon, afternoon and sunset, with the sunset being exceptionally gorgeous and perfect for photos. The hotel staff are incredibly warm; they are the most thoughtful and friendly service workers I encountered during my entire trip across Indonesia. All the hotel restaurants serve fantastic food. The main restaurant offers Asian, Italian and even Chinese cuisine, which suits the taste of our Chinese family perfectly. The Kiks Seafood Restaurant in the evening stands out especially, serving the most delicious grilled seafood I have ever tasted. Compared with Ayana in Bali, the service here is superior. The staff are more welcoming and always wear smiles, making me feel right at home. There are never too many guests, so it never feels crowded. Whether you are dining, relaxing on a lounge chair, playing in the swimming pool, wandering along wooden boardwalks, joining sunset tours or enjoying sea activities, everything feels comfortable, free and laid-back the entire time. This is what a real vacation ought to be like. I don’t even need to travel elsewhere; spending five or six days staying inside this hotel would be absolutely perfect. The hotel also provides a full range of recreational activities. We only stayed for two days and left wishing we could stay longer. The housekeeping staff folded adorable monkey and animal shapes out of towels for us. Without a doubt, this is the most wonderful hotel I have ever stayed in, and the only one I’m eager to revisit. "The sea view is amazing! The room is clean and comfortable, very close to the pier, making island hopping super convenient. The service is attentive, and I felt very secure staying there. Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo is a hotel well worth staying at in Labuan Bajo! The facilities are new, the environment is great, and the sunset views are stunning. It's a short taxi ride to the island hopping pier. Highly recommended. The location is perfect, within walking distance to the pier. The sea view room offers expansive views, and the hygiene is excellent. The staff are very friendly. A top choice for exploring Komodo."

"The bathroom sink was clogged with hair and we had to call staff to fix it, indicating poor cleaning. Sometimes when we called for room service, there was no response and no one came to assist. The breakfast fruit wasn't good; some pieces were rotten, and the overall food quality control was poor. The drinks from the bar made me sick, so I'd advise against them. The staff, however, were all very friendly and proactive in asking if we needed help. Not great value for money. The pool was quite nice though."

"I highly recommend this hotel. I think it's the best hotel on Komodo Island. They offer free airport shuttle service. On the day of our arrival, my child probably drank a glass of unclean orange juice and vomited and had diarrhea all over the sofa that night. The hotel picked us up and took us to the hospital early the next morning. When we returned, it was past breakfast time, but after we mentioned it to the staff, they brought breakfast directly to our room. The hotel didn't charge us any extra for any of this, not even a cleaning fee. I can only say that for a room rate of just over 2,000 yuan, we received hotel service worth over 5,000 yuan. The service is even better than the Ritz-Carlton Retreat in Bali. You can go for it without hesitation. Also, the food at that restaurant was pretty good. Although some people complained about the price, honestly, I've never seen cheap food at a five-star hotel. Isn't it all about convenience and comfort? I ordered lamb chops and fish, and both were delicious, especially the lamb chops – they were fantastic and suited to Chinese tastes! The bill came to about 500 RMB, which I think is acceptable. Also, I strongly advise everyone to buy bottled water. Some hotels provide bottled water, while others provide glass bottles. Try to drink less of the glass bottles, and definitely avoid water with ice – who knows what kind of water those ice cubes are made of? "Extremely satisfied with this resort! The hotel itself isn't huge, but the environment is fantastic. You can shore dive directly from the jetty, and there are tons of fish and large coral reefs! Snorkeling gear is provided. The service is also excellent; the laundry service is super fast and reasonably priced. The bathroom is open-air, but it's not an issue at all. The restaurant prices are a bit high, but the drinks are good, and they can even be delivered to your beach chair. Enjoying the sea breeze at night is incredibly comfortable!"

We were looked after by our room butler, Mr. Daniel, and his team throughout our stay. What truly touched me was when I experienced sudden abdominal pain; my butler proactively inquired and quickly brought medication, a level of care that went far beyond standard service. Upon check-in, welcome drinks, a special fruit platter, and complimentary mini-bar beverages were already prepared. At check-out, we even received handmade cookies as a travel snack – these thoughtful details highlight the hotel's meticulous care for its guests. **3.
