"Upon arriving at the hotel lobby, the luggage attendant, Zhu Xuan, was incredibly warm and polite! During check-in, Mulan, the front desk lady, was also very warm and polite. She asked about my preferences and assigned a room that I was very happy with! Room cleanliness was excellent, and the housekeeper, Sister Zhong Yuelian, was warm, polite, and very diligent and responsible in her cleaning! All three employees deserve a five-star rating for their service attitude! 🌹 However, for breakfast, they intentionally made guests queue in a long line, waiting for staff members to individually escort them to a table, even though there were many empty seats inside. I was even spoken to rudely by the staff member scanning codes at the entrance – that attitude is unacceptable! The hotel should really find a way to solve this embarrassing queuing situation for breakfast! I’ve truly never encountered such a scene at a high-star hotel! The staff member who showed us to our table, Hemu, is still worth commending. She was observant, warm, and polite!"

"This experience exceeded my expectations; you could feel the thoughtfulness in every detail. The check-in and dining were very comfortable. I had just picked this place randomly, but it turned out to be a wonderful surprise. The environment was clean and pleasant, and the service was genuinely warm. I arrived around 11 AM, quite tired from an early flight. The front desk staff saw my exhaustion and quickly processed my check-in so I could go to my room and rest. The concierge immediately helped with my luggage, and along the way, even told me about the restaurant and how to get to the beach. They truly took care of the guests' feelings. It's definitely worth a visit."

"We stayed at the Marriott on Beihai Silver Beach for our family trip. Overall, it's a very competitive option among Beihai's resort hotels, and the staff even upgraded us to a suite for free. During peak seasons like holidays and weekends, it's advisable to plan ahead as prices will be more reasonable; last-minute bookings tend to be more expensive and subject to price fluctuations. ✨Environment: The hotel is right by Silver Beach, with a private walkway directly to the sand and convenient foot-washing stations at the entrance. The landscaping creates a wonderful seaside ambiance, and the outdoor pool faces the ocean directly. Our room on the 15th floor to the east offered expansive balcony views, though it could be quite windy by the sea. 🧼Hygiene: The hotel generally maintains Marriott's high standards. Housekeeping was meticulous, the bedding was clean and fluffy, and the bathroom had a separate wet and dry area. Cleaning in the public pools and lounge areas was prompt. 🛎️Service: Most staff members were proactive and polite, with quick responses from concierge and front desk. Check-in on Friday evening at 5 PM was a bit slow, taking about an hour, but check-out was efficient. The breakfast selection was standard, and the dining environment was decent. 🛏️Facilities: The hotel is relatively new, with excellent quality hardware. The rooms are well-equipped, and the indoor and outdoor pools, 24-hour gym, and kids' club make it perfect for vacations and families. 🚗Transportation: Located in the heart of Silver Beach, the back entrance provides very convenient access to the beach. It's a short drive to Qiaogang and the International Passenger Port for trips to Weizhou Island. Getting to the high-speed rail station or Fucheng Airport takes about 20-30 minutes. Taxis are easily available right outside the hotel. Overall, it's a hassle-free and consistently high-quality choice for a Silver Beach vacation, ideal for travelers who want to relax and enjoy sea views right outside their door. I recommend booking in advance for better prices, as last-minute bookings are pricier and prone to fluctuations. It's worth comparing prices across different platforms."

"This hotel is absolutely fantastic! It's just a stone's throw from the beach, so you can literally walk out and enjoy the sea. Unlike some trendy B&Bs, this is a legitimate hotel, and it shows in the quality of their bathroom fixtures, linens, and excellent hygiene. I initially booked for one night but extended my stay for another in a garden-view room. For families with kids, I highly recommend the garden-view rooms; the balcony provides much better ventilation, which is a plus since it's a new hotel! Breakfast is served until 2 PM, and they'll even deliver takeout right to your room. The shuttle service is on-call and super attentive. Downstairs, there's a small commercial area with restaurants and a beachside coffee shop. It has a chic, advanced aesthetic, almost giving off an Aranya vibe. The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the pool. If the pool were on that open beach area outside the lobby, it would be absolutely perfect."

"I booked two rooms, and both had large stains on the fabric sofas, which immediately made the whole room feel cheap. The toilet paper was clearly of the cheapest kind, like what you'd find on tables in a greasy spoon. The children's play area was unsupervised, and adults with dirty feet could enter barefoot. The laundry room required QR code payment. The coffee bar attracted many non-guests who came just to take photos, often holding their phones right over the heads of children enjoying afternoon tea. Crowds of people would come in, making a lot of noise. It was also very hot, with no air conditioning. Due to the bad experience, I didn't extend my stay. When checking out, the front desk staff clearly showed disdain, as if they thought it wasn't the hotel's problem but that I couldn't afford to stay. Getting to and from the beach was not easy for seniors and young children."

"Our stay at the hotel was pretty good. As an older hotel, the facilities aren't as new as some, but the service was excellent! 👍 Lulu checked us in and was fantastic – she explained all the facilities, suggested family-friendly activities, and helped us book kids' activities. She also recommended a great list of local restaurants. The service was thoughtful, our room was clean and tidy, and well-equipped. The surroundings are beautiful, with a beach to enjoy and a nice swimming pool. Overall, quite good. If we come back, we might choose a hotel closer to the city center, as Silver Beach gets very crowded."

"The hotel's location is excellent, close to Golden Beach, and the sea-view rooms offer great value for money. The service is also good. It's a top choice for a vacation, even if you just want to relax at the hotel. There are plenty of activities available on-site, making for a very pleasant stay. My only minor gripe is that the online reviews feel a bit too contrived, which might give a slightly strange first impression."

"Our stay at Dhawa Beihai Weizhou Island during our Weizhou Island trip exceeded expectations! The hotel environment is beautiful, with tropical gardens blending with sea views, and the pool opens directly onto the beach, offering a perfect spot to watch the sunset. The room was spacious and clean, the bedding comfortable, and we received welcome fruit upon arrival – thoughtful touches indeed. Special shout-out to Amy at the front desk! She made check-in efficient and smooth, and proactively shared information about island tours, sunset spots, and the hotel shuttle schedule. When we asked about getting to the island, car rental, and clam digging, Amy patiently and thoroughly answered all our questions with a gentle and professional attitude. She was always ready to help and even kindly reminded us about important travel tips for the island. Any small requests were promptly addressed, making us feel genuinely cared for. The hotel also offers pier transfer services, making travel hassle-free, and the breakfast selection was extensive. The overall vacation vibe was relaxed and comfortable. It's a highly recommended resort on Weizhou Island, and we'd choose Dhawa Beihai Weizhou Island again on our next visit. A big thank you once more to Amy for her attentive service!"

"I stayed 2 nights at Shangri-La, 2 nights at a B&B, and this was the last stop, so here's my overall review. Pros: 1. Newly renovated with new facilities, all top brands, and excellent hardware. 2. Right next to Silver Beach, very close to the sea, and easy access through the back gate. 3. Great room layout with a balcony, convenient for drying clothes. Cons: 1. The slide is unsafe. My child got injured and bled after going down it once. This is a deal-breaker; basic safety wasn't ensured. Luckily, it was on the last two days, otherwise, our whole vacation would have been ruined (although they offered a kids' playground activity as compensation, I'd much rather my child be safe. I still have to face criticism back home). 2. The hotel lacks depth. The swimming pool area has young trees and gets direct sun, so it's practically unusable during the day. The staff is younger than Shangri-La's, which is a plus, but something still feels off, probably due to a lack of experience. 3. There's ongoing construction nearby, and the entrance isn't enclosed, so it's a bit noisy during the day. If I had to choose again, I'd prefer an older brand, even if the hardware isn't as good. This hotel was pricier but offered the worst experience."

"We stayed at The Reef Hotel for two days, in different room types. On the second day, our room offered breathtaking, unobstructed views of the beach and ocean right from the moment we opened the patio door – absolutely stunning! The service was also top-notch; they were always ready to help with anything we needed, including laundry and drying services, which only required a quick word with our butler. The breakfast spread was excellent, and the afternoon tea was particularly good, with the option to have it delivered to our room, which was a fantastic touch. Plus, the complimentary coconut-themed photoshoot provided by the hotel was a lovely bonus; they captured beautiful photos of my little sister!"
