Steigenberger Nile Palace Luxor - Convention Center ★★★★★
"Located right on the Nile, surrounded by numerous hotels that all boast great views. The hotel itself is decent, nothing exceptional. Breakfast is $18 per person plus tax, which isn't cheap, and the quality is just okay. The hotel isn't very big, you can explore it quickly. The Thai restaurant was pretty good, standard Thai food quality."
Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa ★★★★★
"The hotel is located across the street from Kings Canyon, and because it's situated on the street, it's very quiet. Getting around is easy; you can easily take a taxi. Be careful when using the hotel ATM for currency exchange; I was charged $200, but the staff were incredibly helpful and made a complaint call for me. Although I couldn't get the money back, I'm still very grateful to that staff member."
Steigenberger Achti Resort Luxor ★★★★★
"Not enough Chinese food options, I'd suggest adding more. The service was excellent! Ola and Yasmin were super helpful! My English isn't great, but they were both very patient with me! ❤️"
The Temple Hotel & Spa ★★★★
"Thank you, I've tried to keep my overall review balanced and objective."
Iberotel Luxor by JAZ ★★★★
"Although it's an older, well-established local hotel with an excellent location, the room facilities are quite dated. The river view is also inconsistent, with some rooms having obstructions. On the positive side, the public garden areas are beautiful, and breakfast times are very accommodating for early risers/busy travelers. Additionally, the dinner buffet offers great value for money."
Queens Valley Hotel, Restaurants, Bars and Spa Luxor ★★★
"The hotel room was incredibly run-down, worse than a guesthouse from the 80s. There was only one power outlet, and the showerhead in the bathroom was broken and unusable."
Jolie Ville Hotel & Spa Kings Island Luxor ★★★★★
"I wouldn't recommend staying here. When we checked in, we reported that the kettle was broken, but then they accused us of breaking it and forced us to pay 1000 EGP upon checkout. I'm curious, what kind of kettle costs 1000 EGP? Furthermore, the attitude towards Chinese guests during check-in was very poor; it took half an hour just to wait for check-in, and the whole process took 50 minutes. Also, if you don't tip the staff, they won't even talk to you. I gave 50 EGP and they still wouldn't help with my luggage; the bellboy explicitly asked for 100 EGP 🕺. I really don't understand where all the good reviews are coming from. As a diamond member, I rarely leave bad reviews, but I just couldn't hold back this time; a negative review is absolutely necessary."
Sonesta St. George Hotel - Convention Center ★★★★★
"Good location and great in cleanliness. The hotel buffet breakfast was awesome and with a good price. Comfortable bed and spacious room and I would highly recommend this hotel in Luxor."
Pyramisa Hotel Luxor ★★★★
"Not far from busy areas around Luxor temple but not an easy walking distance because of hot whether. But people use taxi service anyway due to whether condition. Hotel coditions are little outdated but clean n services recommendable . Good poolside area by the river Nile."

El Nakhil Hotel
"Good quality price ratio. Situated in a quiet location, we received a good welcome. The room was comfortable."
Gaddis Hotel, Suites and Apartments
"The location of this hotel is average, about 5 minutes' drive from the pier in the city center, but it takes 15 minutes to walk. There are no special businesses or shopping places nearby. There is a KFC across the road and I had two meals there. The hotel was renovated about 20 years ago, so it has a very shabby luxury feel. The hotel's elevator also needs to be opened manually, which is very nostalgic and not modern at all. But it is also a hotel that meets the basic requirements."
Amon Hotel
"Very kind staff and hostress, no push of trips and the room is really clean."
Rezeiky Hotel & Camp
"The location is perfect; you can walk to the marina for meals and strolls. The staff are welcoming and helpful, and the room is cleaned daily. The pool overlooks the reception area, in front of everyone, but it's still pleasant."
Susanna Hotel Luxor
"Friendly , Safe, well run hotel. WiFi free. Room good size and. clean. Bedding and towels rather worn out and old. Location 5 star. Hotel Reception staff very polite and responsive. Would stay again."
Karnak Hotel Luxor
"There was a smell of formaldehyde, and the information was registered incorrectly, which delayed me for a long time. The total cost was 900 Egyptian pounds. Because their house smelled of formaldehyde, I didn't want to live there, and they also deducted 250 Egyptian pounds from me as a penalty. Think carefully"
Happy Land Luxor
"Passable for a budget stay. Not many hotels in that same road."
Mara House Luxor
"Right off the top, we did not stay at Mara House. We did, however, book 4 days of travel, transfers and tours directly with Mara / Mara House. Luxor has been on my bucket list as long as I can remember. Last month my husband and I finally made it here for our 40th anniversary. I pretty much knew what I wanted to see, I just needed help with planning and logistics. Unlike the large bus tours, I wanted a dedicated, personalised tour for just the two of us, with a knowledgeable guide and driver, seeing the the sites we deemed important to us. Mara was our Ace in the Hole. I came across her blog while researching our trip and I was hooked by her honesty of telling it like it is. I contacted her with our travel dates and trip desires. She put together an itinerary as well as made suggestions for a few extra sites not even on our radar. I took her advice and went with it. WOW!! Could not have worked out better. Awesome trip! Thank you Mara! I would also like to thank our guides. Mo, you made the West Bank "come alive". Hassan, I still show off with the ancient Egyptian "excel" spread sheet and reading of a cartouche - I am so ready for my test! I would also like to thank Rami, our driver for all 4 days, including transfers to and from Hurghada. Such a friendly, helpful and kind man. If you have a vision of what your ideal trip to Egypt should be, let Mara help bring it to life. No hassles, just pure enjoyment."
