Steigenberger Nile Palace Luxor - Convention Center
"I booked a Nile view room, and overall it was pretty good. The only thing is I didn't see any hot air balloons for two days, which was a bit strange. The hotel has its own pier where you can enjoy the sunset on the Nile. The Thai restaurant on the first floor definitely caters to Chinese palates; we ate there three times, it was so delicious! The hotel breakfast was just okay, and the staff weren't very enthusiastic. I was a little surprised to see 'Happy Chinese New Year' right when I entered the lobby, possibly because it's been acquired by Huazhu Hotels Group."
Queens Valley Hotel, Restaurants, Bars and Spa Luxor
"The hotel is acceptable, personal is good, a little bit noisy because is located just in front a highway, price is good, I didn't try the food because I have to leave early for a trip, it is very close to Luxor temple and the Go bus station….."
Steigenberger Achti Resort Luxor
"Sorry this review is so late – I completely forgot to write it with all the wedding rush! But I really want to say a huge thank you to the hotel for giving us such a wonderful honeymoon experience. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. To our surprise, you even prepared a delicious chocolate cake for us to celebrate our honeymoon – that was so thoughtful and made our trip even more special! A special shoutout to your amazing staff: Yassin was incredibly helpful and friendly, Abd Elnaby (who brought us the cake) was so warm and kind, and the lovely front desk girl with the long ponytail – she was absolutely charming and sweet. Everyone went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. We also want to thank the housekeeping team who decorated our room so beautifully – it was such a romantic and lovely touch, and we really appreciated it! We're so grateful for your hospitality and will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family. Hope to come back again someday!"
Jolie Ville Hotel & Spa Kings Island Luxor
"The hotel is located on an island which is not in downtown, close to the airport and a little bit far from famous temples etc., but it is acceptable and quite safe, away from noisy. The facilities are a bit old but still clean. The billboard is not well maintained and can't be used, table tennis and tennis rackets are old, just usable but not enjoyable. The service is good, we arrived in the morning and reception desk was very busy, after some minutes waiting we were lucky to get our rooms ready to check in before time. Sometimes the staff are over-occupied but overall they worked nicely and kindly to the customers. The breakfast was great, it is a plus and also every Friday there is Egyptian buffet dinner where you can enjoy quite a lot of different kinds of food, including crabs, fish, beef, duck, chicken and many desserts. There are 3 pools there and we enjoyed them, even though temperature was not warm enough we still managed to swim a little bit in infinite pool which is the biggest. Along the Nile river you will enjoy good views and even see balloon rising up in the morning."
Iberotel Luxor by JAZ
"Nothing to complain about here! The location is great, the facilities are excellent, and the little garden is beautiful. Plus, there's a Chinese restaurant nearby."
Hilton Luxor Resort & Spa
"The room itself wasn't large, but we upgraded to a Nile River view room. The balcony was small; the view from directly downstairs was actually better. The hotel's location is superb, the scenery is absolutely stunning. We watched two sunsets, so we hardly needed to go anywhere else in the hotel to see them. As for food, our first day included a dinner buffet that lasted until 10 PM; the quality was decent, nothing special. The second day we ordered à la carte, and the food was quite good. Overall, the scenery was the biggest plus."
The Temple Hotel & Spa
"Great location. Rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful."
Pyramisa Hotel Luxor
"The room has a very old-style design and feels a bit dated, but it’s still comfortable. The location is great, just next to the Nile, which gives a nice view. Overall, not bad for the stay."
Lotus Luxor Hotel
"The lobby has a truly magnificent entrance with views of the pool and the Nile River. The room was spacious, allowing for a very relaxing stay. It was also clean, so I was satisfied. Since I had an early flight the next day and couldn't make breakfast, they prepared a lunch box for me. I was surprised by how much was included: two plates of bread, cheese, ham, and more. They arranged a taxi for my morning flight, but it was quite expensive."

Gaddis Hotel, Suites and Apartments
"Our 2-night stay was overall good. If you like the style of the 1960s and 1970s, this hotel is definitely a unique experience. The entire hotel is decorated in a retro 60s/70s style, and our room had matching furniture, making it feel like stepping back in time. However, the furniture was clearly old and in need of replacement. We booked a room for 5 people, but upon arrival there was only one double bed and one single bed. After we informed the staff, they brought in a large wooden bed and placed it in the living room. Still, one of the children had to sleep on a metal bench, which was not comfortable. The breakfast was acceptable — not very varied, but just okay. The location was central."
Karnak Hotel Luxor
"Fortunately, I chose a hotel on the east bank of Luxor, where both the attractions and living areas are located. There are many supermarkets nearby. Location: Not bad, but it is about one kilometer away from the train station. It is very convenient to the Karnak Temple, but if you go to the Luxor Temple and the ferry terminal⛴️, there is a distance and you need to take a horse carriage. Sanitary facilities: This is the hotel with the best sanitary facilities in Egypt for so many days. Although the sanitary facilities are equivalent to those of domestic three-star hotels, this hotel is very cost-effective for Egypt! There is a dressing table and a TV✌️ Breakfast: I like their fried potato cakes very much, they are delicious. There are also eggs, capsules🫓, etc. You can choose coffee or tea by yourself. Environment: There is an outdoor swimming pool outside the restaurant. Although you can't go into the water in Egypt in winter, it is still great to take pictures after breakfast❤️The sun is so warm☀️ Staff: Very nice. The room I checked in on the first night had no wifi at all, so I was asked to change the room. The last day was a 12:00 am go bus to Cairo, and we were allowed to charge our phone in the restaurant and use the wifi. The old man at the front desk also helped me boil water. It was so touching to drink a cup of hot water in Egypt with a low temperature of 5 degrees. ❤️ Disadvantages: They don’t have hot water 24 hours a day. The water is not very hot. After the shower time, all the water is cold…"
Mara House Luxor
"Mara house is a boutique hotel with large rooms/suites and offers the best home cooked meals. Staff are attentive and can arrange for any need. It is clean and within walking distance to the temples and the few restaurants for westerners in the centre. Highly recommended as it delivers the best value in Luxor."
Venus Hostel
"The staff, especially Angie at reception, was really nice and will help you with all the tourist bookings. Room was clean. No complaints for me. Would recommend. The manager of the hotel, Hassan Addanny, is great with the guests."
