"The location is great, and every time I took a taxi from the front of the hotel, the security staff would confirm my destination with the taxi driver, which made me feel that they were really looking out for my safety! All the staff were very friendly, and the restaurant and swimming pool facilities, along with the view, were excellent. The only downsides were that the room was a bit chilly even without the AC on (the heating function seemed not to be working), and although the staff were responsive, the key card frequently malfunctioned, which was a bit inconvenient. Other than that, I was generally satisfied. Also, note that late check-out is available until 6 PM for an additional $30."

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to all the East Bank attractions! The front desk can call a taxi for you! The Olives restaurant at the hotel serves the best Egyptian-style rice and grilled dishes (chicken kebabs)! Their pizza and burgers are also great! The two-meal package means drinks at dinner in the restaurant are extra! The pool view is absolutely amazing!"

"This hotel is absolutely stunning; the photos don't do it justice. The lawn is dotted with meticulously trimmed African-style trees, and at night, you can stargaze. The temperature is pleasant, and there are hardly any mosquitoes; each room even has a mosquito repellent lamp outside. There's a wonderful sense of tranquil spaciousness. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated, offering great value for money. Right next to the Nile River, you can see the Valley of the Kings on the opposite bank, and the infinity pool by the Nile is absolutely breathtaking! We didn't book all-inclusive, so breakfast wasn't included, and dining out was a bit inconvenient. Getting a taxi in Luxor is a real hassle, so we often went hungry in the mornings. I'd recommend buying some food the day before or booking breakfast. However, on one occasion, we were stopped and checked for outside food when entering the hotel, which I didn't quite understand or appreciate. Most of the staff were friendly, and they didn't fuss about our late check-out on the last day. We only had one slightly negative experience: we tried to book the hotel's felucca, and the staff told us to come back at 6:10 PM to see if it could sail, or switch to an electric boat if not. When we went to the front desk after 6 PM, there was a different person who told us we had missed the window, as felucca bookings were from 6 PM to 7 PM, and if we missed it, we'd have to book for the next day. I found this confusing and felt like they were passing the buck and unwilling to help."

"Let's start with the positives: The environment is excellent, right by the Nile River. The swimming pool is large, with two sections offering spacious surroundings. It's very close to the city center, just a 1 km carriage ride away. Most rooms seem to offer direct or partial views of the Nile. We initially had a triple room, then switched to a junior suite with two balconies. The staff were very genuine and keen to make us feel welcome. The transportation department in the lobby was very responsible. The hotel restaurant staff even remembered us and frequently greeted us. The hotel restaurant has ample space, so it never feels crowded. We ate at the Italian restaurant twice and were able to order some Chinese dishes from the adjacent bar, which was a nice touch. The ambiance was great, the prices fair, and the food delicious. The hot water in the room was plentiful, making for a comfortable shower. Now for the drawbacks: The room facilities are noticeably outdated and in urgent need of an upgrade. Upon check-in, it was a bit off-putting, but I gradually understood after adjusting my mindset. I completely forgot about the soaring prices. I noticed a row of white buildings at the hotel that were almost renovated, which should be nice in the future. When checking out, the front desk asked for my feedback, and I told them exactly this. Overall, Luxor tourism is recovering, and I hope more investment comes in."

"Extremely satisfied! This hotel feels like a completely different world from the outside. The service, location, room size, and views are all top-notch. A special, heartfelt thank you to Manager Wahid, who provided us with the utmost assistance. Our flight was delayed until 8:50 PM, and after a hot and tiring day visiting the temples, we had nowhere to go. We asked the front desk if we could pay for a late check-out, and dear Manager Wahid immediately offered us a complimentary extension until 5 PM! I was not only shocked but also incredibly grateful when I heard that! I will strongly recommend this hotel to all Chinese and international travelers. They truly care about their guests, a world apart from those who try to scam you outside. You definitely won't regret coming here!"

"The location is fantastic, directly facing the Nile. You get a direct view of the feluccas on the river and the hot air balloons on the opposite bank. Local drivers and carriage drivers all know this spot, and it's not far from the pier or Luxor Temple. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities are also dated, but everything is functional and doesn't detract from the experience – it actually suits the ancient charm of the area. The hotel service is decent, though check-in can be slow, often taking over half an hour. The room size is comparable to a budget hotel in China, not a high-end hotel, which might impact your experience. However, the balcony is beautiful. It's lovely to sit there, enjoy the stunning view opposite, and have a drink. Breakfast is just average, nothing special."

"The only downside to this hotel was that my room had a side view of the Nile, otherwise everything else was great, including a lovely little balcony. The location is excellent – not only do you get a view of the Nile, but it's also close to the pool, dining options, and hot air balloon bookings. Magic Horizon is just across the street, and King Tut's is upstairs in a nearby alley. There are two Chinese restaurants within walking distance, and Luxor Temple is also walkable if you're up for it. The breakfast was very good. Although the elevator is small, it's pretty normal, not one of those run-down versions. The shower and bed were both good."

"I read reviews saying it was rundown, but I didn't expect it to be this bad—it's like a guesthouse from the 1980s. The biggest selling point must be the rooftop pool. The rooftop is indeed beautiful, and the views are great; you can even see hot air balloons across the river. However, the room facilities are incredibly outdated. The showerhead was broken, and there wasn't even a holder, so I had to hold it the whole time. The breakfast was barely enough to fill me up. You only get one egg per person, and frying one takes ages, probably three to five minutes. The only upside was the unlimited cucumbers and tomatoes, which helped me get my daily vegetable intake."

"An absolutely perfect hotel stay! In Luxor, it's incredibly important to stay at a safe and friendly hotel, and I'm so grateful for the warm and welcoming service from two receptionists, Catherine and Magda. Their enthusiasm and cheerfulness filled me with excitement for my trip! During check-in, Catherine eagerly shared all of the hotel's facilities and provided me with a hotel introduction in Chinese, which helped me quickly get acquainted with the property. After I checked in, she also checked if I was satisfied with my room. I want to express my gratitude again for her exceptional service. The gentleman at the luggage storage was also very friendly and asked about my luggage and check-in needs in Chinese. When I was scammed by a carriage driver outside, I contacted the hotel's front desk. They very quickly dispatched security personnel to ensure my safety, and the two carriage drivers who were trying to scam me promptly left. While swimming, the staff promptly laid out towels, and drink orders were taken with enthusiasm and speed. Everything was so friendly. In summary, it was a perfect trip and a perfect hotel. I am extremely satisfied."
