"This was by far the best hotel I stayed at in New Zealand. Compared to other Hilton properties, the bed here was noticeably larger and more comfortable. I stayed in a twin room, and each bed was around 1.2 to 1.5 meters wide, whereas other hotels only offered very narrow single beds (about 0.9 meters). There was also plenty of space between the beds, which made the room feel much more comfortable. The room was very clean, well-equipped, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The location was also decent, making it a very convenient and pleasant place to stay overall. I would highly recommend this hotel — especially if you’re looking for a comfortable and restful experience."

"Very nice motel stay with my family! There is kitchen for you to cook your meals. There are heaters in the living room and bath rooms to make you feel warm all the time ! Highly recommended for the stays , it worth the money!"

"The hotel is fairly centrally located (about a 15 minute walk), but at the same time in a quiet area. The room was huge, for lack of a better term - it's basically a lounge, a twin room and a double room. Not sure if that's actually the room I booked or an upgrade. At any rate, it was clean and had all the necessary amenities. The outer design is also very nice. There's also afternoon tea for free from 15:30 till 16:30. The price is not particularly low, but all things considered it's value for money (only 25-30% more expensive than a private room in a hostel), especially if more than one person is staying. All in all, a great option, if your budget allows it."

"Self checkin was easy and simple. No fuss. We arrived a couple hours early. Phoned the Mob No @ unmanned reception desk. Mgr gave us access code to our unit. Lovely cleaning lady arrived to complete finishing touches cleaning our unit but not expecting we had arrived early. No problem at all. Finished off her task. Our self contained unit no.2 was clean, warm & fresh. Parking space for our vehicle was great. Great value for money. Will definitely recommend staying there. Cheers"

"Like a model set for crime watch. So smoke-infused we walked inside and felt like we’d replaced someone who’d just left after staying inside for 5 years chain smoking darts. Lacking basics like milk, clean dish cloths, dish rack, etc. The bed linen and towels were clean."

"You can check in at Achilles Motel reception next door. There is no elevator so if you have heavy luggage you have to carry it on your own if you get assigned on the second floor. Each of the room have its own parking space. Basic kitchen equipment with utensils for a light and easy meal. Overall happy for the price and bring some bath bombs if you like soaking in a hot tub."

"Everything was great — the room had a washer and dryer, and there was a good variety of food options nearby through DoorDash delivery. Roadside parking was available near the hotel. Just that a dust ball spotted on one pillow"
