"Didn't spend much time at the hotel but the few moments when I was there I could enjoy , the service , great kitchen , very clean room thanks the housekeeping and a love service at reception , just great "
"I truly enjoyed my short stay here. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome from the gate to the hotel staff made me feel at home. The food was exceptional—especially the lamb chops, some of the best I’ve ever had. The buffet breakfast offered a wide variety and was even more delightful by the poolside, with a cool breeze and soft background music. Security is modern and reassuring, and my room had a lovely view of Westlands. Overall, a great experience—I would definitely recommend this place."
"Good location if you want to be fairly central with a few minutes walk to plenty of bars. Uber is very efficient and cheap here if you want to travel out. The staff were very good and the restaurant/bar is 24/7 (I believe). Room was lovely. Overall, although I think Nairobi is a little on the expensive side, this was ok. I tried to book again for after the safari but it was more expensive so i went to the Swiss Belinn instead, which was cheaper and the same standard (a little further away but again, Uber and Bolt are super efficient and cheap here). TIPS FOR FOREIGNERS COMING INTO KENYA: 1. Get your currency outside of Kenya, the exchange rate here, particularly at the airport, is absolutely awful - I found them to be offering upto 35% less than the actual rate. 2. You only really need a small amount of cash here - most places you will visit accept card. 3. DO NOT BUY A TELKOM SIM CARD. It is absolutely useless, even in Nairobi but does not work AT ALL on safari. 4. Uber and Bolt are very good here. 5. If you are doing safari and your trip does not include the national park fees (payable in USD), make sure you get those before arriving - the banks and ATMs here are very unreliable if you want USD. 6. Do not pay extortionate hotel prices for laundry - find a local company who will collect and deliver your laundry for a fraction of the price like Smartfua Laundromat. 7. If you go on Safari, try not to sit on the back of the vehicle - it gets VERY bumpy. Have a great trip!"
"Great hotel in a great location! The check in process was smooth, the friendly staff fully engaged at the point of service. The two story hotel foyer was wonderfully furnished for an immediate photo shoot! The room was very clean and very spacious! I asked for one at height with a view! Hotel facilities boast: - fitness room (free for guests) - beauty parlour - two restaurants, although only one was open during my stay. The breakfast buffet was amazing!! - rooftop swimming pool, also closed during my stay -a great club bar! There was even a guest laundry room with washing machine and drying area (free for guests) Location is everything and this hotel is just a few minutes walk from a range of other local venues and restaurants, although who wants to stay too local in Naitobi, the city that Hever sleeps?"
"I booked a triple room. The space is limited, but the room has all necessary facilities you need for the stay. The design of the room is nice. The staff is very friendly and helpful."
"Lively location with a shopping centre next door and a lot of supermarkets. Very nice hotel, kind and welcoming staff, clean and spacious room with everything you need. Comfortable beds, convenient walk-in shower. Breakfast was amazing, diverse and very good quality. Even the tea in the room is very nice. Everyone was super nice and we would definitely stay here again next time in Nairobi."
"We stayed here twice. Safe, secure, terrific staff, close to Naivas supermarket, food hall upstairs and City Market. There are two eateries in the hotel as well. The breakfast buffet is superb! Every day has variety. The restaurant/bar is a bit hit or miss with the food quality, and their discount program is a bit confused. They claimed we couldn’t participate because we didn’t book our room directly with the hotel but the website says you don’t even have to be a hotel patron to gain restaurant discounts. Either way, rooms were large, comfortable and balcony was lovely. The bathrooms are very tired but other amenities, like the pool and gym, were lovely. Overall, a great stay and highly recommended."
"Clean and secure, helpful staff. Good location directly across from restaurant and shopping complex. Walking distance to many other restaurants, bars, and malls. Didn’t have breakfast, it looked just okay, but there is the main restaurant with terrace and a bbq restaurant on ground floor if you prefer not to leave for meals."
"I recently stayed at Golden Tulip Westlands Nairobi and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel is fairly new, well-maintained, and in a convenient location. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay, and the room was comfortable and met all expectations. Breakfast was also very good with a nice variety of options. However, I was quite disappointed with the swimming pool. It was not properly maintained — the water was dirty, and the surrounding tiles were broken, making it unsafe to use. Unfortunately, this was a major downside to an otherwise good stay."
"Hotel room is new and huge, very good for family, I stayed for a 2 bedroom apartments for 2 nights, receptionist beta and the girl who is cleaning the room is super helpful and professional, highly recommend"

Amazing
GGuest UserI had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean, and I truly appreciated the thoughtful welcome set provided upon arrival. The bed linens were fresh and immaculate. The service was excellent — the staff were always friendly, helpful, and ready to assist with anything I required. Their warm hospitality made my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserI booked a 2-night stay over Saturday and Sunday while waiting for my 1am flight on Monday. I had just returned from a safari and was extremely tired, hoping to get some rest. Unfortunately, starting around 4am on Sunday, there was a lot of noise coming from the room directly in front of mine. It appeared to be a group occupying multiple rooms, shouting and moving between them. I called the lobby twice, and while the receptionist was kind and responsive in contacting the group, the noise continued, and I eventually gave up on trying to sleep. Later that afternoon, the tap and shower in my room stopped working. I had to call again to have it fixed, and even after it was restored, there was no hot water. I had a VERY cold shower. That said, I genuinely appreciated the food and the aesthetic of the property—the African artifacts in the hallways and the soaring ceilings made the place feel very special. It’s the kind of atmosphere I’d love to return to. However, because of the disruptions and inconvenience I experienced, I don’t think I’ll be coming back unless necessary.
GGuest UserFantastic hotel by far one of the most nobel hotel i have visited, everything perfect from staff , spacious room, breakfast buffet and location
GGuest UserThe hotel supposed to provide free transport to airport and while we checked in we indicated the time required as per the electronic notice board at 4 30am. The front desk told us the schedule shown was not updated. The free transport is only every hour as in either 4 am or 5am. We chose 4 am. The next morning when went to the front desk, the manager in-charged mentioned there was no booking. At the same time, they advised us free transport is only for certain hour. They show us the updated notice. We do not have a choice but to pay for the transport to airport. This is not fair to the guest that we are not informed of the change and the schedule and price charged changed overnight.
GGuest UserHyatt Regency Nairobi Westlands is a modern, stylish hotel in a great location. It has spacious rooms with city views, great food, a rooftop pool, and a gym. Perfect for both business and leisure stays.
GGuest UserI had a really pleasant stay at The Panari Hotel, conveniently located near Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. The room was very comfortable and clean, and the bed was excellent — perfect for a good night’s rest before or after a flight. The check-in and checkout process were smooth and friendly, and the staff were professional and helpful. The airport drop-off service, though charged separately, was on time and well-coordinated, which I appreciated. The food was amazing — definitely one of the highlights of my stay. The only downsides were that the shower was broken (though I managed to adjust) and that the rates were a little on the expensive side for what’s offered. Overall, it’s a comfortable, clean, and convenient hotel with great food and service — just a bit pricey and in need of a few minor fixes.
GGuest UserAs an expat, I'm almost questioning my life after eating white food every day 😂. Today at noon, I finally had Chinese food in Kenya. The stir-fried dishes tasted very authentic. Every bite was like being back in China. It was an instant comfort!
